Night fell.

Freed from the shadow of Devimon, the children had become carefree again.

"All right, now that we've eaten and drunk our fill, we should plan our next move," Tai suggested, rubbing his stomach with a satisfied expression.

"Didn't old Gennai just tell us to find him on Server Continent?" Remembering what Gennai had said, Sora brought up Server Continent again.

"If this map is accurate, Server Continent should be very far from here." Izzy opened his laptop and looked at Server Continent across the sea from File Island, his face full of concern.

With such a long distance to cover, would we have to ride Ikkakumon there? What if Ikkakumon got hungry and exhausted halfway across and reverted? Wouldn't we all fall into the sea?

"Huh? I can't even swim very far, let alone cross an ocean..." Mimi glanced at the map on Izzy's laptop, and her face fell.

"Now that Devimon has been destroyed, we're fairly familiar with this island, and there's no shortage of food or shelter around here." Just then, Joe, the oldest of the children, spoke up.

"Huh? What do you mean?" Sora was momentarily confused by Joe's words.

"I mean, is it really a good idea to trust what that old man Gennai said so easily? Besides, does a place called Server Continent even exist?" Rather than face unknown dangers, Joe wanted to stay on File Island.

"Oh, what are you talking about? Staying here won't get us back to our world." Tai's little sister was still waiting for him at home. How could he possibly stay on an isolated island like this...?

"Defeating Devimon was hard enough, but there are even stronger enemies across the sea..." After hearing Joe's argument, Sora began to have second thoughts too...

"The question is, how do we get to the other side of the sea?" Izzy was more concerned about that than Tai and the others' debate.

"I think we'd be better off staying here." Matt glanced at his little brother, T.K., then remembered the danger they had faced against Devimon. He sided with Joe too.

"What's gotten into everyone?!"

Come on, could you stop being so scared...? Kari's still waiting for me to come home. Don't you have parents and family waiting for you too...?

"Let's go. Whatever enemies are out there, we have to face them. I'm sure Angemon would feel the same way." Just then, T.K. stroked the Digi-Egg and offered his opinion.

"I think Tai's right. Our enemies won't just disappear because we refuse to go. Devimon knew about the world across the sea, so wouldn't the stronger enemies over there know about File Island too? If Devimon could come here, those stronger enemies could as well. We have to take the initiative!"

Zhou Zhu wasn't particularly worried about Server Continent across the sea, because unless something unexpected happened... Wizardmon should be able to evolve into a Perfect-level Digimon before they arrived.

When that happens...

Hmm???

Actually, even Perfect might not be safe enough. Tai's MetalGreymon was a Perfect-level Digimon, but still ended up on the back foot against Etemon.

Etemon was exceptionally powerful even among Perfect-level Digimon. Even one of Etemon's subordinates, Nanomon, was a Perfect-level Digimon...

A newly evolved Wisemon definitely wouldn't be a match for Etemon.

"Let's all go together. Once we find the crests, we'll be able to evolve again, and then I can protect Tai better." Agumon's thinking was simple: whatever Tai said, Agumon supported it.

"Sora, let's go too!"

Encouraged by T.K., Biyomon joined in trying to persuade her.

"We'll find a way somehow." Tentomon noticed Izzy's curiosity about the other side of the sea and voiced support as well.

"I hope there aren't any flowers on Server Continent prettier than me."

Palmon's wish was destined to go unfulfilled. If Palmon could evolve into the Ultimate-level Rosemon, though, it might be possible...

"Let's go, Matt!"

Hearing everyone's words, Gabumon looked at Matt with a hint of anticipation.

"All right." Since even T.K. had said that, Matt decided they might as well go and see. After all, they couldn't stay on this island forever.

"Then I'll go too." Seeing his friends agree one after another to head to Server Continent, Joe could only follow the crowd. After all, he couldn't stay on this island alone for the rest of his life, could he?

"Great, then it's settled. Onward to Server Continent!!"

Seeing everyone agree, Tai finally breathed a sigh of relief. Even if they had refused, he would have set out alone, but being together was better after all.

The next day...

Tai and the others got to work first thing in the morning.

"Pepper Breath!"

"Explosion Flame Bomb!"

"Thunder Cloud!"

As Agumon, Gabumon, and the others unleashed their special attacks, the trees before them fell one after another.

"Looks like knocking down these trees is going to take a lot of effort." Watching their Digimon partners hard at work felling trees, Izzy looked troubled and awkward.

"There's no use rushing. Let's take our time." Compared with Izzy, Sora beside him seemed perfectly relaxed.

Thud, thud, thud...

Just then, heavy footsteps sounded behind them.

"Leomon?"

Hearing the noise, Sora turned and discovered Leomon walking toward them.

"I heard you're going to Server Continent. Let us help!" Leomon kept it brief as he addressed Sora and Izzy.

"You really want to help us?" Looking at Leomon's towering frame, Sora's face lit up with delight.

Although Zhou Zhu's Wizardmon and Leomon were both Champion-level Digimon, Leomon clearly had the advantage over Wizardmon when it came to cutting down trees.

"Of course. And I brought some others along too." As Leomon spoke, he motioned for Sora and Izzy to look behind him.

"Mojyamon? Centarumon? And Elecmon?" Looking in the direction Leomon indicated, Sora and Izzy immediately recognized their old friends.

"Let us help too!" Since Zhou Zhu was leaving, Elecmon had to come and see him off, no matter what.

Looking at Zhou Zhu and Wizardmon nearby, Elecmon felt reluctant to part with them. After all, Elecmon and Zhou Zhu had spent nearly a year together, and their bond was far stronger than the bonds Elecmon shared with the other DigiDestined.

"Ah! Monzaemon?"

Just then, Mimi spotted Monzaemon arriving on the other side as more helpers continued to appear.

"It's Frigimon!"

"And Meramon!"

Seeing those familiar faces lifted everyone's spirits considerably.
