"You're not keeping her!!!"
After finally finding Shingetsu, Madara flew into a rage. He stamped his foot in fury, making the entire space seem to tremble as his immense strength shattered the ground.
With several lumps swelling on her head, Shingetsu kept her back to him, clutching the rabbit tightly and refusing to let go.
"Shingetsu, give me the rabbit. I'll raise her for you."
Tobirama came over too, generously offering to look after her free of charge. He had plenty of experience in that department, and reached out to take the rabbit.
"Who would believe you? You'll definitely slice Yoru Yoru up!"
"You've even named her already..."
Tobirama was speechless. In just a few short minutes, Shingetsu had picked up a rabbit in this godforsaken backwater and even named the creature, which might not actually be a rabbit. She looked utterly determined to take her home.
He immediately thought of his unreliable older brother. Damn it, Shingetsu looked exactly like Hashirama when he brought stray animals home!
"You already have three pets at home. Don't you have a cow too?"
Madara Uchiha was genuinely furious this time. He raised his fist, thinking he might as well hit her again, but the sight of Shingetsu pouting, looking so aggrieved, softened his anger a little. He coaxed her:
"Throw that rabbit away. I'll catch you another tailed beast."
"No! I want the rabbit!"
Shingetsu hugged the rabbit tighter, her eyes darting about.
"If you won't let me keep her, I'll... I'll..."
"I'll run away from home!"
Everyone, Tobirama included, sucked in a sharp breath at those words.
Driven by their survival instincts, they abandoned their spectator seats and took off running, terrified of getting caught in the Asura of the Ninja World's wrath and dying without even a grave.
"...Uchiha. Shingetsu!"
