Although Shingetsu had successfully awakened her Mangekyō Sharingan, she naturally couldn't neglect her Senjutsu training.
Not long after the victory banquet, Sage Fukasaku summoned them back to class, as though he had forgotten all about Susanoo smashing up Mount Myōboku. This time, he brought Little Jiraiya along too.
And so, Mount Myōboku's Senjutsu crash course reopened.
Apart from Shingetsu, Madara, Izuna, and Tobirama once again settled into the wonderful routine of eating, training, and getting beaten by toads.
Little Jiraiya was simply too young for Senjutsu training, so he ended up hanging around with Hashirama instead.
The two idle troublemakers spent their days wreaking havoc everywhere. They even befriended Gamabunta, and the two humans and one toad formed Mount Myōboku's gang of menaces, bullying the mountain's toads and Manda from Ryūchi Cave wherever they went.
But bullying toads and snakes wasn't exciting enough for these three mischief-makers. It offered too little challenge, and soon they found themselves a new source of amusement-
Making noise every so often while the four were training, and throwing things at their heads!
One day, while Madara, Shingetsu, Tobirama, and Izuna were meditating, Hashirama and Jiraiya hid nearby.
They exchanged a look, snickered, and tossed a huge fruit from Mount Myōboku at Madara, who sat as still as a clay statue.
Just as the fruit was about to hit his forehead, Madara's reflexes and combat instincts kicked in. His eyes snapped open, and he caught it with one hand.
Furious at having his concentration broken, he crushed the fruit into jam.
Madara raised his head and glared at the trembling Hashirama and Jiraiya, growling through clenched teeth:
"...Hashirama!"
"Aaah! I'm sorry!"
Their fate was easy enough to imagine: the enraged Madara beat them within an inch of their lives.
