Hashirama and Tobirama fought Urashiki to stop him from taking Shingetsu, using poison and teamwork to drive him into another dimension. Urashiki returned to Konoha and activated a mysterious turtle treasure, which caused Hashirama, Tobirama, Tsunade, Kagami, and Hiruzen to vanish.
Tsunade, Tobirama, Kagami, and Hiruzen Sarutobi were scattered into an unfamiliar future after the time tunnel, where they encountered danger and evidence of a changed Konoha. The chapter ended with Hiruzen confronting an Iwagakure shinobi who was attacking two Konoha children.
Urashiki returned to the Shinobi World searching for Shingetsu, while Konoha learned that Hashirama and four others had vanished. On the Fourth Shinobi World War battlefield, a living Hashirama with a Rinnegan appeared, rescued Tsunade, and reunited with Edo Madara, leaving everyone stunned by his claim that Madara had given him the eye.
Hashirama confronted Edo Madara about the living Izuna and revealed Black Zetsu’s true identity, while Tobirama intervened in the Uchiha Clan Massacre timeline and rescued survivors from Itachi. In another timeline, Hiruzen Sarutobi rescued Team 7, learned that Konoha sent children to war, and turned on Minato in anger.
Hiruzen Sarutobi confronted Minato over sending children into battle, then demanded to know where Shingetsu was. In other timelines, Tobirama stopped Danzo’s attack on the Uchiha, while Hashirama exposed Black Zetsu’s deception and discovered that Edo Madara did not know Shingetsu.
Hashirama described a peaceful, powerful Konoha where Madara had become Hokage, and Edo Madara attacked him after seeing memories of Shingetsu. On another battlefield, Minato resolved to become Hokage, reform Konoha, and end every war after hearing Sarutobi’s account of a better future.
Hiruzen Sarutobi reunited with Tobirama in the alternate timeline, where Tobirama learned how war and human experimentation had nearly erased the Senju Clan and awakened the Kamui Mangekyō Sharingan as he desperately tried to return to Shingetsu's timeline. After investigating the Uchiha Clan Massacre, Tobirama discovered Itachi had allied with a masked man posing as Madara, and the chapter left Tobirama condemning Itachi's choices while examining the case against him.
Tobirama condemned Itachi, Fugaku, and the Third for the Uchiha massacre, ordered the family imprisoned for public trial, and prepared to confront Danzo and the village elders. Sasuke was left isolated until Kagami took him in, while on the battlefield Sarutobi’s history books revealed startling claims about Kaguya and Black Zetsu to Elderly Madara.
Shingetsu learned that Ōtsutsuki Isshiki claimed to be her father and revealed that Urashiki had used Kama to send Hashirama and the others through time and space. On the Fourth Shinobi World War battlefield, Edo Madara described the bleak history of a world without Shingetsu, while Tōka revealed that her child with Hōkaku had died young.
Tōka’s account of Shingetsu’s loss deepened the grief of Hōkaku, Naruto, and Minato as Obito returned to find the Ten-Tails sealed and Infinite Tsukuyomi impossible. In another world, Tobirama revived Hashirama and his counterpart, then decided to bring Madara back despite their warnings.
Tobirama revealed to Edo Madara that Black Zetsu had deceived him about the Eye of the Moon Plan, then demonstrated his newly awakened Mangekyō abilities. After reading the history of Shingetsu’s world, Minato resolved to lead reform in his own Konoha, just as the battlefield began shaking and an enraged Madara reacted underground.
Madara Uchiha died after revealing that Black Zetsu had deceived him, and he entrusted Minato and Hiruzen Sarutobi with killing Black Zetsu. On the Fourth Shinobi World War battlefield, Edo Madara confessed that he had arranged Rin Nohara’s death to manipulate Obito, who was then trapped by chakra rods and urged Kakashi to take his eyes.
Minato, Naruto, Sasuke, Kakashi, Sakura, and the Allied Shinobi Forces overwhelmed Edo Madara in a chaotic battle, before Hashirama finally faced him in a decisive duel. Shingetsu and Izuna arrived from another world, and Hashirama tried to stop the fight by showing Madara that Shingetsu was there.
Izuna reunited with Edo Madara, while Shingetsu reunited with her parents and became the focus of Edo Madara’s desperate hopes. As the fighting resumed, Shingetsu proposed using the sealed Ten-Tails as a sacrifice to revive the dead, and she and Hashirama restrained the combatants so everyone could gather the bodies.
Shingetsu stopped the battlefield fighters with her Mystic Eyes of Death Perception and forced them to help restore order and resurrect the dead. As families reunited and the two Tsunades met, Kakashi lost the chance to bring Obito back, while Sasuke’s hatred of the shinobi world deepened.
Hashirama told Konoha’s rookies how Shingetsu’s arrival transformed another Konoha, while Izuna learned that this world’s Uchiha Clan had been massacred and confronted the reincarnated leaders over their praise of Itachi. As the battlefield’s old conflict threatened to reignite, Sasuke rejected reviving the Uchiha and the fallen shinobi, arguing that the village and its wars would kill them again.
Izuna welcomed Sasuke into his group and promised to resurrect the Uchiha Clan, while Shingetsu explained how shinobi depended on war and why reforming the world would be difficult. The group left Sasuke considering a new path, and Izuna insisted that he eat before continuing their discussion.
Shingetsu and Hashirama seized the Daimyō’s Capital to establish a shinobi country and recruit people from Konoha. After Hashirama publicly invited the village’s residents to leave, the Izuno clan leader accepted his offer and agreed to bring his entire clan.
Shingetsu and Hashirama led a mass departure from Konoha, freeing the Hyuga Branch Family and taking many disillusioned shinobi with them, while Naruto failed to persuade Sasuke or most of the crowd to stay. After recruiting shinobi from across the Five Great Shinobi Villages, Shingetsu sent them to help eliminate the Daimyō and Nobles, plunging the Shinobi World into turmoil.
Shingetsu arrived in Konoha as its wealthy financial backer and demanded the village confront its abuses before she would provide money and missions. She left the Hokage facing her conditions, including publicly addressing Danzo's crimes and the Uchiha Clan Massacre.
Minato accepted Shingetsu’s demands, and Konoha began carrying out her sweeping reforms while she forced Tobirama to leave with her. Across the shinobi world, villages undertook civilian reconstruction work, Naruto confronted civilians’ hatred of Shinobi, and Konoha’s public trial began.
Danzo was resurrected and put on public trial, where he blamed the Uchiha for Konoha’s suffering and exposed Hiruzen Sarutobi’s complicity in his actions. Shingetsu’s impersonation of Hiruzen drew out Danzo’s confessions, leaving Konoha’s leaders and reputation in disarray.
Sasuke exposed how Danzo had exploited Konoha’s faith in the Will of Fire, and the revelation drove most villagers to leave for the Shinobi Country. As Konoha emptied and Danzo’s defenses collapsed, Naruto struggled with the loss of his faith in Third and the village, while Minato and Kushina comforted him.
After Konoha dissolved, Naruto chose to leave with Minato, Kushina, and his friends, determined to learn about the shinobi world's suffering and forge his own path. Tsunade remained in the empty village with a small group of loyal residents, while Sasuke's effort to restore the Uchiha through Impure World Reincarnation advanced.
Sasuke refused Fugaku’s pleas to revive Itachi or Mikoto and left him to atone while the Uchiha accepted Sasuke as their clan head. As Shingetsu and Izuna prepared to leave this world, they dug up Izuna’s remains, while Edo Madara quietly struggled with Shingetsu’s impending departure.
