The next morning.
The first thing Naruto did after waking up was pick up the tablet beside his bed and check on Obito.
Obito had gotten up early. After exercising for a while, he headed toward Amegakure.
Seeing this... Naruto knew he probably hadn't met Nagato yet!
Just then, someone knocked on Naruto's bedroom door, followed by Kushina's voice. "Naruto, get up and come have breakfast!"
"Coming..."
After answering, Naruto got dressed, then went into the bathroom to wash up.
Downstairs, in the dining room.
Kushina and Minato chatted as they ate breakfast.
"Naruto, come try the Pan-Fried Buns I made!"
"Okay!" Naruto nodded, took his seat, and began eating the Pan-Fried Buns.
"How do they taste?" Kushina asked expectantly.
"They're delicious."
Naruto gave her a thumbs-up in praise.
"Then eat some more!"
Breakfast was soon over. Kushina cleared the table and washed the dishes, while Minato Namikaze looked at Naruto and asked, "Naruto, are you going to school today, or heading out?"
Naruto thought it over. He probably wasn't needed at the Base, and Itachi would likely return there today.
The only thing that might need his attention was building the new base.
Building a new base wouldn't be much trouble. With Wolffy around, it was a piece of cake.
Moving, however, would take quite a bit of time!
With that in mind, Naruto replied, "I'll go to school!"
"All right! Let's go together, then! I've never taken you to school before!"
Minato Namikaze spoke with a smile.
"Okay..."
Just as the two were about to leave, Kushina hurried out after finishing the dishes. "I want to take Naruto to school too... and have a look at my future daughter-in-law while I'm at it!"
And so, the family of three walked down the street.
