Naruto decided to respond calmly to Kumogakure’s arrival while planning to seek out the remaining tailed beasts himself. In Otogakure, Yugito Nii and Matatabi shopped together as the Cloud delegation arrived in the bustling village.

• Tsunade guessed the coin toss correctly and headed toward the village, while Shizune worried that they had lost their last hundred ryo.
• Naruto learned that Kumogakure’s travelers had arrived and resolved to wait and see whether they would negotiate or fight before pursuing the other tailed beasts.
• Nine-Tails questioned Naruto’s plan to gather the tailed beasts and shatter the moon, but Naruto insisted they should take the initiative after dealing with the Cloud Ninja.
• Yugito Nii defended Matatabi from men staring at her, and Matatabi frightened them away before the two went clothes shopping and declared themselves lovers.

Naruto refused Samui, Omoi, and Karui’s demand to return Yugito Nii to Kumogakure, rejecting their documents and openly defying the Raikage. After the cloud ninja left, Naruto explained that she had expected a conflict and asked Yugito Nii whether she could fight her former village.

• Karui spotted Yugito Nii leaving a clothing store with a woman, and Samui confronted her about returning to Kumogakure.
• Yugito Nii revealed that she had joined Otogakure, and Naruto transported the group to the office building.

• Otogakure’s forces ambushed Darui’s and Dodai’s units at the Valley of Hell, where Chakra Armor cores and Hidan’s attack caused heavy danger for the Cloud ninjas.

Gaara, Shukaku, Kakuzu, Naruto, and the Snake Princesses fought the Cloud assault forces attacking Otogakure and the Valley of Hell. Naruto’s sage techniques and the village’s defenses inflicted heavy losses, while the observing villages began to regard Otogakure as a serious military power.

• Kin led Otogakure’s noncombatants to safety as Gaara and Shukaku confronted the Cloud assault unit, and Shukaku’s wind attack sent several attackers flying.
• Kakuzu arrived to support Gaara and Shukaku, released the four masks from his back, and turned them into Earth Grudge Fear monsters.
• Naruto learned that Otogakure had been attacked, then summoned Ichikishimahime, Tagitsuhime, and Tagohime to help end the battle in the Valley of Hell.
• The Snake Princesses lent Naruto their power, allowing him to enter Sage Mode and use Inorganic Reincarnation to create clay figures that attacked the Cloud ninja.

• Otogakure ninjas overwhelmed the Cloud forces with ninjutsu and mud men, prompting the Raikage and Killer B to arrive through the Heavenly Transfer Technique.
• Naruto confronted Killer B as the Raikage charged Yugito Nii, knocked her Two-Tails form down, and gave the Cloud Ninjas hope.

• Tsunade decided to travel to the Valley of Hell in the Land of Hot Water, and Shizune followed her despite worrying about her hemophobia.
• Naruto dodged the Raikage’s attack and struck him with a senjutsu-enhanced heel, but Killer B punched her into the ground.

• Obito Uchiha destroyed the Asura Path with Wood Spikes, but the Naraka Path repaired it while the Animal Path’s Hell Hound regenerated.
• Obito Uchiha blocked the Asura Path’s beam with Madara Uchiha’s Flame Round Fan and reflected the attack, but the Paths’ combined assault forced him into Kamui’s dimension.
