In a single instant, NERV Headquarters had been paralyzed, with system error warnings flashing everywhere.
"MAGI again? What the hell is going on? Who are we fighting this time? Humans or an Angel?"
Misato Katsuragi slammed her fist into the console and spoke through gritted teeth.
Everyone could see that this Angel was stronger than any they had faced before. Its next attack might punch straight through Headquarters.
"Is it MAGI Unit-02 in Matsushiro that's attacking?" Kozo Fuyutsuki asked, sensing something.
"Not just MAGI Unit-02. We've confirmed attacks from Germany and the United States as well. At least five MAGI units are attacking Headquarters," Shigeru Aoba replied.
"SEELE, just as I thought. They're making their move openly this time, and they're going all out," Kozo Fuyutsuki said.
"We're outnumbered five to one, and they've chosen the exact moment the Power Angel arrived. This is bad."
SEELE's intrusion did not stop for Kozo Fuyutsuki's helpless lament or the Angel's arrival.
