Ch. 1Obtaining a Vision

Ailin was pulled from his game into Teyvat and woke in the body of Ellin, the Future Knight, discovering he had become a girl. As he accepted Ellin’s parents as his own, a Cryo Vision and a bow appeared in his arms.

  • Ailin tried to complete Ellin’s commission by firing Ganyu’s arrow from Dragonspine and teleporting to Mondstadt, but a light pulled him into the game world.
  • Ailin woke in Ellin’s room, realized he had a girl’s body and voice, and cried out in shock.
  • Ellin’s parents rushed in, and Ailin collapsed as Ellin’s memories flooded into him.
  • Ailin learned he had transmigrated into Ellin’s body and reassured his parents that he was fine.
  • A cold storm filled Ellin’s room, and an icy blue Vision and a bow appeared in Ailin’s arms.

Ch. 2Baptism of Cryo

After receiving a Cryo Vision and Amos' Bow, Ailin accepted life in Ellin's body and took her name. A system then loaded, granting him Ganyu's skills and talents and materializing his game inventory.

  • Cryo transformed Ailin's appearance, and Hermann and Ellin's mother celebrated her new Vision before leaving her alone.
  • Ailin tested the Vision, recognized the bow as Amos' Bow, and deduced that he had reincarnated as Ellin after teleporting to her in the game as Ganyu.
  • Ailin examined Ellin's new body, struggled with becoming a woman, and resolved to live as Ellin while caring for her parents and seeking a way to turn back into a man.
  • After Ailin accepted the name Ellin, a system loaded and granted her Ganyu's skills and talents, along with her original game inventory.

Ch. 3I'm as Strong as 50 Paimons

Ellin inspected her new system and discovered talents that let her learn any demonstrated move and gain extra Visions by befriending other Vision bearers. After recovering from her training, she went out to explore Mondstadt, where her new appearance drew curious and admiring attention, and arrived at the Adventurers' Guild.

  • Ellin checked her system and saw that her strength was compared to ten wild boars, or fifty Paimons, and that she possessed a Cryo Vision.
  • Ellin learned that Supreme Insight let her master a move after one demonstration and Gift of Passion could grant her additional Visions through close friendships.
  • Ellin imagined combining many characters' abilities and Visions, then went to bed exhausted and slept for nearly nineteen hours.
  • Ellin woke the next afternoon, dressed, ate, and left home to explore Teyvat.
  • Ellin noticed Mondstadt residents watching her, learned that Hermann had told people about her Vision and appearance, and reached the Adventurers' Guild.

Ch. 4Sound-Seeking Demon-Slaying Celestial Venerable

Ellin met Fischl and bonded with her over their shared melodramatic manner of speaking. Fischl helped Ellin register with the Adventurers' Guild and secure a C-rank commission, then took her out of the city.

  • Ellin hesitated at the Adventurers' Guild because new members could only accept E-rank commissions, which offered no combat challenge.
  • Fischl and Oz approached Ellin, and Ellin surprised them by understanding Fischl's theatrical speech.
  • Ellin introduced herself with an equally dramatic declaration, delighting Fischl, and asked her for help finding a suitable commission.
  • Fischl brought Ellin to the Adventurers' Guild, where Katheryne registered her as an adventurer.
  • Fischl used her Adventure Rank 23 to secure Ellin a C-rank commission and led her out of the city, promising to keep her safe.

Ch. 5The Great Round Crisis

Ellin and Fischl hunted three Large Pyro Slimes in the Whispering Woods, where Ellin astonished Fischl with her rapid Cryo archery. Fischl watched Ellin’s skirt flutter during the fight and became excited by what she saw.

  • Fischl sent Oz to scout and led Ellin through the Whispering Woods to find the three Large Pyro Slimes.
  • Fischl warned Ellin that Pyro Slimes were dangerous to fight at close range and prepared to attack with her bow.
  • Ellin summoned a blue-and-white bow and used Trail of the Qilin to fire a rapid stream of ice arrows at the Slimes.
  • Ellin dodged the Slimes’ fireballs and wore down their flames while Fischl and Oz watched in astonishment at her skill.
  • Fischl noticed the pink lace trim beneath Ellin’s fluttering skirt and exclaimed that it was her lucky day.

Ch. 6A familiar, the Ice Phoenix

After Blazing Whopperflowers ambushed Ellin and Fischl in the Whispering Woods, Ellin made a desperate wish for help. Her Cryo Vision answered by summoning Feng'er, a white phoenix who pledged to fight for her.

  • Ellin defeated three Large Pyro Slimes with Trail of the Qilin and collected their spoils.
  • Fischl shot down a fireball aimed at Ellin, but two Blazing Whopperflowers emerged and attacked them.
  • Fischl explained that their Electro attacks could trigger explosions and ignite the forest, while the Whopperflowers could burrow and launch Pyro attacks.
  • Ellin asked Fischl how she had summoned Oz, then made a powerful wish for help protecting them both.
  • Ellin's Cryo Vision formed a huge icy egg, which hatched into Feng'er, a white phoenix who pledged to fight for her.

Ch. 7Charged shot, Frostflake Arrow

Ellin summoned Feng'er, an Ice Phoenix familiar, who helped Fischl and Oz fight two Whopperflowers while Ellin charged a Frostflake Arrow. The Whopperflowers unleashed a devastating Pyro barrage, leaving Fischl trapped amid a forest fire as they advanced on her.

  • Ellin summoned the Ice Phoenix Feng'er, who pledged loyalty to her and attacked the Whopperflowers while helping contain the fire.
  • Feng'er and Fischl coordinated their attacks, with Fischl interrupting a Whopperflower's attempt to burrow underground.
  • Ellin hid behind a tree and began charging a Frostflake Arrow, intending to kill both Whopperflowers with one shot.
  • The Whopperflowers formed Pyro shields and unleashed a barrage of fireballs, forcing Fischl, Feng'er, and Oz to focus on surviving and protecting one another.
  • The fireball barrage devastated the forest and surrounded the group with flames, leaving Fischl trapped as the Whopperflowers approached and Oz stood between them.

Ch. 8Klee! Was this your doing?

Fischl and Ellin coordinated their attacks to break both Whopperflowers’ shields, then Ellin unleashed a powerful Frostflake Arrow that blasted away the flames. Outside the forest, Jean learned that Fischl and Ellin were trapped inside and prepared to rescue them, but spotted a blue light in the fire.

  • Fischl and Ellin coordinated their attacks to break the Whopperflowers’ Pyro shields and send them flying together.
  • Ellin fired a Frostflake Arrow charged for two minutes and twenty seconds, triggering a huge Cryo explosion that crushed much of the fire.
  • Jean arrived at the forest and asked Amber about the cause of the blaze and the missing commission members.
  • Amber told Jean that Fischl and Ellin had accepted a commission to eliminate Large Pyro Slimes and that their parents were frantic.
  • Jean promised to bring Fischl and Ellin back safely, then spotted a blue light in the flames.

Ch. 9One Frost Arrow Cleaved the Sea of Flames

Ellin and Fischl emerged safely from the inferno after Ellin’s Frost Arrow carved a path through the flames, though the onlookers wondered how she had become so powerful. After they received treatment and returned to Mondstadt, Fischl and her parents invited Ellin to dinner.

  • Ellin’s Frost Arrow cut a path through the sea of flames, and she and Fischl walked out safely with the Night Raven and Ice Phoenix beside them.
  • Ellin and Fischl reunited with their relieved parents, while Fischl blushed when her father called her Little Amy.
  • Jean, Kaeya, and Diluc suspected Ellin had fired the arrow but wondered how she had gained such strength and archery skill in one day.
  • Barbara used Healing Water to treat Ellin’s and Fischl’s burns, and Ellin thanked her for the healing.
  • Ellin and Fischl told the Knights of Favonius and the Adventurers’ Guild what had caused the fire before returning to Mondstadt with their families.
  • Fischl invited Ellin to dinner at her home, and Ellin accepted after Fischl’s parents thanked her for saving their daughter.

Ch. 10I've Always Been Your Friend

Ellin shared dinner with Fischl and her parents, learned how their praise and later rejection shaped Fischl’s fantasy persona, and promised to remain her friend. After dinner, Fischl invited Ellin to bathe with her, leaving Ellin flustered and unsure how to respond.

  • Fischl's parents welcomed Ellin to dinner, and Fischl's father told embarrassing stories about his daughter.
  • Ellin recalled how Fischl's parents had encouraged her fantasy persona when she was young, then told her to outgrow it on her fourteenth birthday.
  • Ellin told Fischl she liked her as she was and would always be her good friend, and Fischl thanked her tearfully.
  • Fischl took Ellin to another room and invited her to bathe with her after their battle left ash on their clothes and bodies.
  • Fischl noticed Ellin's hesitation and asked if she did not want to bathe together, and Ellin fell silent when she saw tears in Fischl's eyes.

Ch. 11We'll Trigger Superconduct Together

Ellin and Fischl grew closer during a sleepover, while their familiars had an awkward romantic exchange. After Ellin and Fischl collected their commission reward, Cyrus and Jean apologized to Ellin and her father for the danger caused by the Guild’s misinformation and the Knights’ failure to find the Blazing Whopperflower.

  • Ellin agreed to bathe with Fischl after reassuring her, and the girls teased each other and stayed overnight together.
  • Oz confessed his love to Feng’er, who rejected him because their elements would trigger Superconduct.
  • Ellin and Fischl reported their completed commission to Katheryne, collected their reward, and spent the day exploring Mondstadt together.
  • Cyrus and Jean apologized to Hermann and Ellin for the incident, gave them compensation and triple the commission reward, then went to apologize to Fischl.

Ch. 12An energy recharge sands

After the forest fire, Ellin reflected on the dangers of Teyvat and realized she needed to improve how quickly she channeled elemental energy. She inspected her system inventory and wondered whether an energy-recharge artifact could help her channel energy faster.

  • Ellin returned to her room after the fire was extinguished and thought about how dangerous real battles in Teyvat were.
  • Ellin recognized that she had failed to use Celestial Shower because she could not gather Cryo energy quickly enough, and she resolved to train.
  • Ellin opened the system inventory and found four unlocked weapon slots and two unlocked artifact slots.
  • Ellin examined an attack sands artifact and learned that the inventory's artifacts had only a set, main stat, and level.
  • Ellin saw that her level 20 Anemo sands had energy recharge as its main stat and wondered whether it would let her channel elemental energy faster.

Ch. 13The Slimes Grew Again

Ellin absorbed two Artifacts, gaining much faster elemental control and greatly increased physical strength, while her slimes grew larger again. She spent a cheerful day gathering Valberries with Fischl, and the chapter ended with the two friends expressing how much they meant to each other.

  • Ellin withdrew her Energy Recharge Artifact and found that channeling elemental energy came instinctively and nearly twice as fast.
  • Ellin withdrew her last Attack Sands Artifact, which quadrupled her physical strength, and noticed her slimes had grown again.
  • Fischl invited Ellin to gather Valberries in the Windrise Foothills, and she was startled by the size of Ellin's slimes.
  • Ellin and Fischl gathered Valberries with help from Feng'er and Oz, then spent the day playing, resting, and sharing food together.
  • At sunset, Fischl told Ellin how happy she was to have met her, and Ellin promised to protect Fischl whenever she was in danger.

Ch. 14Noelle's Lesson

Ellin visited the Training Ground to learn how to control her Cryo Vision, and Noelle taught her how to form shields and elemental greatswords. Ellin quickly applied the lesson in surprising ways, leaving Noelle stunned as she summoned a huge ice greatsword.

  • Ellin discovered that her system inventory held over ten million Mora and a Serenitea Pot filled with furniture, and she planned to buy gifts for her parents.
  • Ellin called Noelle to the Training Ground and asked her to teach her how to use elemental power in combat.
  • Noelle demonstrated a Geo shield that could burst to damage enemies and a Geo greatsword that enabled wide, powerful attacks.
  • Ellin formed a thick Cryo shield around herself and shattered it, blasting a wooden dummy apart with ice.
  • Ellin summoned a dull-edged greatsword and drew the surrounding freezing air into an ice greatsword nearly eight meters long, shocking Noelle.

Ch. 15Then Do You Like the Ellin I Am Now?

Ellin impressed Noelle with her skill wielding an ice greatsword, then invited her to lunch at the Good Hunter Restaurant. There, Ellin thanked Noelle for caring about her and Fischl, and the two grew closer as they shared a salad.

  • Ellin practiced with an ice greatsword while Noelle watched in amazement.
  • Ellin invited Noelle to lunch, and Noelle agreed despite her plan to tend the Knights of Favonius' flower beds.
  • At the Good Hunter Restaurant, Noelle remarked that Ellin had become prettier and more carefree, and said she preferred Ellin as she was now.
  • Ellin ordered Noelle a Satisfying Salad and thanked her for being safe after the Whispering Woods incident.
  • Noelle and Ellin shared the salad by feeding each other, drawing the attention of the restaurant's diners.

Ch. 16The Abyss Order

Fischl searched for a gift for Ellin and decided to earn enough Mora to buy her a Cryo Slime pendant. While gathering wolfhooks in Wolvendom with Oz, she discovered Abyss Mages and Hilichurls digging around a Statue of the Seven.

  • Fischl's parents noticed how happy she had become since befriending Ellin.
  • Fischl and Oz visited With Wind Comes Glory, where Fischl chose a Cryo Slime pendant for Ellin but was short of the Mora needed to buy it.
  • Fischl accepted a Church of Favonius commission to gather wolfhooks in Wolvendom so she could earn the remaining Mora.
  • Fischl and Oz searched the woods until they heard digging and saw two Abyss Mages directing Hilichurls around a Statue of the Seven.

Ch. 17Fischl's Resolve

Fischl was ambushed by the Abyss Order in Wolvendom and, determined to survive, sent Oz to Mondstadt for help before retreating into the forest. Meanwhile, Ellin learned Fischl had not returned from her commission and rushed to Wolvendom to find her.

  • A Pyro Abyss Mage ambushed Fischl, wounding her before two Abyss Mages, eight Hilichurl Berserkers, and more Hilichurls surrounded her.
  • Fischl found hope by thinking of Ellin and resolved to survive so she could give her the Slime pendant.
  • Fischl ordered Oz to fly to Mondstadt for reinforcements, then used the forest to evade her attackers.
  • Fischl's mother told Ellin that Amy had not returned from gathering Wolfhooks in Wolvendom.
  • Ellin called for Feng'er and hurried toward Wolvendom to search for Fischl.

Ch. 18Ellin's rampage

Fischl was gravely wounded after fighting the Abyss Mage and its Hilichurls, and she called for Ellin before losing consciousness. Ellin arrived in time to send Oz and Feng'er to carry Fischl to Mondstadt, then faced the Abyss Mage in a furious rage.

  • Fischl killed more than a dozen Hilichurls and a Hilichurl Berserker, but her injuries and blood loss left her unable to keep fighting.
  • As she lost consciousness, Fischl remembered Ellin's promise to protect her and called Ellin's name.
  • Ellin arrived and ordered Oz and Feng'er to take Fischl to Mondstadt for emergency treatment.
  • The Abyss Mage attacked Oz with a fireball, but Ellin blocked it with an ice shield.
  • Ellin turned on the Abyss Mage, her eyes bloodshot and her killing intent making it tremble.

Ch. 19Fierce Battle, Ellin the Berserker

Enraged by Fischl’s near-fatal injuries, Ellin unleashed Celestial Shower and charged the Abyss Mages and Hilichurl Berserkers. After killing one Berserker, she was thrown back and injured, but she rose and attacked the remaining six with a named sword technique.

  • Ellin remembered Fischl’s condition and charged the Abyss Mages in a rage, wielding a sword instead of her bow.
  • Ellin activated Celestial Shower, creating a Cold Aura Field that strengthened Cryo control in the area.
  • Ellin blocked a Hilichurl Berserker’s greataxe, severed his leg with The Black Sword, and split him in two with an enormous ice greatsword.
  • Another Berserker struck Ellin while she was airborne, sending her dozens of meters and leaving her with internal injuries.
  • Ellin ignored her injuries, charged the remaining six Berserkers, and began her Ice Burst: Wind-Pressure Sword technique.

Ch. 20Now, it's your turn

Ellin used the Wind-Pressure Sword and fought through severe injuries to defeat the Hilichurl Berserkers. Exhausted but still furious, she turned her attention to the two Abyss Mages.

  • Ellin combined her increased physical strength with her practiced instincts to unleash the Cryo-infused Wind-Pressure Sword against six Hilichurl Berserkers.
  • The Pyro and Electro Abyss Mages combined their attacks in an Overloaded explosion that injured Ellin, but she sent three ice spikes through three Berserkers before being blasted away.
  • Ellin ignored her internal injuries and charged the Berserkers with the Unforged, using ice spikes and sword attacks as she gained combat experience.
  • After half an hour of fighting, Ellin killed the last Berserker and faced the two Abyss Mages, declaring that they were next.
