Goff was driving now, but he couldn't keep driving for an entire day and night.
So they would have to take turns driving at night.
The truck's driver's seat was rather high, which ruled out Silver Wolf and Herta first.
Chu Mu was out, too. The reason went without saying-probably no one would dare ride in a vehicle he drove.
March 7th was out as well. She was such a sweet, earnest girl, and Kafka liked her too much to make her stay up all night and wear herself out.
Lina and Charles had never driven in the Southern Region, so teaching them would take some effort.
Number Seven was assigned the morning shift.
That essentially left no choice.
"Stelle, come learn to drive with me!"
Her own kid really was the easiest to boss around!
After the truck stopped, Kafka took Stelle into the cab.
"Does your leg still hurt?" Kafka asked when she saw Stelle rubbing her thigh.
"It hurts! It's definitely bruised! Silver Wolf went way too hard!" Stelle said, her face drooping pitifully.
Then her tone suddenly shifted, and she broke into a cheeky grin.
"But it also felt pretty good."
Kafka: "???"
She couldn't help lamenting with a headache:
"So combining the Path of Destruction with the Path of Preservation really does lead to self-destructive tendencies."
The Path of Destruction brought a desire to destroy, while the Path of Preservation brought a willingness to sacrifice. Combining them could produce unpredictable reactions.
"Self-destructive?" Stelle thought for a moment, then shook her head. "Surely not. I'm just good at taunting enemies and drawing fire. I haven't reached the point of self-destruction."
"Then pay attention to how strong your enemies are when you taunt them. Don't provoke someone you shouldn't and get flattened with one slap," Kafka advised.
