"BOOOOOM!!!!"

The human hurtled into the corridor at tremendous acceleration, bringing a mass of rubble with him.

Murder had been waiting below, and a Rising Dragon Fist sent the human coughing up blood.

Then countless tiny bones burst from Murder's hand, frantically draining HP from the human's body.

"Buzz, buzz, buzz-"

ULB teleported beside the human, her head shaking at an eerie speed.

She grabbed the human's mangled head and said:

"It's time for everything to end."

Whoosh!!

███'s hand breached the limits and seized the soul inside the human.

Crack, crack.

Cracks kept appearing across the soul. One, two, three.

CRACK!!

███ actually snapped the human's soul in half!!!

At the same time, the human's -1/1 HP returned to what it should have displayed.

Chara 0/92 KR

"Finally..."

Once that sequence of actions was complete, the human collapsed to the floor, utterly lifeless.

ULB dropped straight to her knees as well, a second knife wound appearing across the front of her body.

███ left her body. The timeline was repairing itself, and the white code gradually returned to normal. It was as if nothing had happened-only the shattered fragments of the world proved what had just taken place.

"I... am going to turn... to dust too..."

ULB recalled Undyne standing resolutely at the bridgehead, barring the demon's path; she recalled MTT NEO, who had blown up without hesitation to buy everyone time; finally, she recalled her younger brother Papyrus, who had faced the bloodthirsty demon with a smile...

In the end, ULB passed away smiling.

I avenged you all.

"So, what did we come here for?"

Murder stared rather speechlessly at ULB, who had turned to dust.

"Weren't we supposed to help? Feels like we didn't help with anything."

"What's the rush?"

Killer raised her head, her gaze seeming to pierce the fabric of the world and reach a higher dimension.

"Let the bullets fly a little longer."

Murder thought for a moment, then immediately understood what Killer meant.

Killer possessed stronger determination than the human. With her present, the human couldn't reset or load a save, so he would naturally assume the game had malfunctioned.

In fact, after who knew how many resets, Murder had begun to suspect that someone behind the human was controlling him. It was as though Murder was being suppressed by a higher dimension, forced to follow the human's lead.

Now, Killer was probably making the person behind him think the game had malfunctioned. Once that person left the game entirely, she would load a save.

Indeed, when she had noticed ULB weakening earlier, Killer had immediately saved.

Without someone behind the human controlling him, they could surely crush him however they pleased.

Sure enough, after they waited for quite a while, large amounts of code began disappearing throughout the world, and the problem kept getting worse.

"That human has started destroying this world. Time to use that move!"

Killer summoned the save menu and tapped the "Load" button.

An immense light began radiating from Killer. The missing code slowly repaired itself, and the dust of the ULB who had died earlier gradually gathered and took shape.

"This is my first time seeing a save load in slow motion."

"Pretty breathtaking, isn't it?"

███'s voice came from beside him. Murder glanced sideways, then looked away.

"It is."

The two fell silent, quietly watching the visual spectacle created by loading the save.

This load took an unusually long time. Murder guessed it probably had to repair the missing code on its own and clear out the commands to destroy the world while it was at it.

"Ding."

Save 1 loaded

They returned to the moment from earlier.

ULB knelt on the floor, staring ahead in astonishment.

"...Huh? How did I... come back to life?"

Neither Murder nor Killer looked at ULB. Both stared at the human.

The human now resembled a standing puppet, showing no intention of moving whatsoever.

Seeing this, Murder finally relaxed.

That trick really worked.

"Killer, this wasn't your first time trying something like this, was it?"

Murder wanted to give the girl a little praise. She had done a pretty good job this time.

"What? This was my first try too."

Murder's approving gaze instantly turned frightening, making even Killer let out a few awkward laughs.

If that thing had recovered just now, they probably would have had to fight the human all over again.

Fortunately, their gamble had paid off. Loading the save hadn't affected the higher dimension. Only they had loaded.

With a casual slash, Killer separated the human's head from his body. Then the two turned and walked over to ULB.

Two hands reached out at the same time. ULB dazedly took their hands, and they pulled her to her feet.

"Your performance surprised me, Killer Sans."

███'s voice came from ULB's mouth.

"Well done."

Being praised by ███ from another universe didn't make Killer happy at all. She merely gave a few fake chuckles.

"Mm, mm, mm!"

ULB shook her head, returning to her previous female voice. Clearly, she had come back to her senses too.

"Thank you both for helping this time!"

Murder waved a hand.

"You should mostly thank Killer. She may be unreliable, but we really owe her one this time."

Killer grinned too.

"That's right, that's right. Go on, thank me."

There was another round of thanks, with plenty of words omitted here.

"Joking aside, girl who's me but a little taller, I have a way to help you return to the peaceful days of the past."

Killer's expression grew serious.

"Peaceful days...?"

ULB wore a bitter smile. The thought of that human alone told her it was impossible.

"No, that human can't enter your world anymore."

Killer shook her head.
