"Can't come back?!"
Knowing the human to her very core, she understood just how tenacious they were.
The little bastard had taken that admirable tenacity and used it to torment them.
But a single remark from the girl who looked like her and had come to help earlier left her utterly stunned.
"That's right."
"After you died, we waited a while. Then the whole world suddenly collapsed."
Killer mimed an explosion with her hands.
"The person behind that human seems to have deleted the game. Luckily, I'd saved before that happened, so I loaded the save right away."
"And the human ended up like this."
Killer lifted the symbol of their victory in one hand, then tossed it away with a flick of her wrist.
I don't want to imitate that lunatic from the multiverse.
Just thinking of that crazy little girl carrying a severed head made Killer shudder.
"Then... what should I do now?"
ULB lowered her head slightly, looking a little worried.
"Heh, don't worry. Leave it to me!"
Killer immediately put on an air of swaggering confidence, leaving ULB utterly baffled.
"Let me explain for her."
Murder pointed at Killer.
"Her determination is stronger than the human's. She can reset things for you."
Neither of them belonged to this world, so a reset here wouldn't affect them.
"Oh... huh?... What?!?!?!"
ULB's expressions were every bit as colorful as Murder's had been earlier.
After another round of weary persuasion from Killer, ULB accepted reality.
"Once we've reset your universe, it'll be time for us to leave. Why not become friends?"
Killer held out her hand to ULB. Seeing this, Murder held out a hand to ULB as well.
"My real name... is the same as yours, but you can call me Killer."
"My name is Sans, but Murder suits me better."
Taking their hands, ULB introduced herself as well.
"My name is Sans too. But... I guess that makes us hard to tell apart in the multiverse."
ULB thought for a moment, then suddenly had a flash of inspiration.
"Why don't you call me ULB? That human kept calling me ULB, ULB when we fought. I don't know what it means, but at least it'll help tell us apart."
The three exchanged hugs, and Killer brought things to a close with a reset.
"So... this is what saving a multiverse feels like?"
Murder leaned against the spacetime corridor, finding it a little hard to believe.
"It really did make me feel something different."
Killer looked up at the pure white of the spacetime corridor, feeling a little wistful.
"Once upon a time, I was an executioner who collected negative emotions... Is this what helping others feels like?"
A faint smile appeared on Killer's face.
"Let's go, Murder. Let's... head to the next universe."
"Yeah."
The two vanished from the corridor, their whereabouts unknown.
Meanwhile, somewhere in the universe.
"Looks like two little ones have joined you."
The speaker was a white-haired man wearing a hood and a small hat, with one hand resting on a cane.
His outfit was yellow throughout, and blue flames rose from his hand, making him look rather strange.
"So... have you made up your mind? About that [deal]."
Bill Sans looked kindly at the man beside him.
"No. I'll never make a deal with you."
The other figure turned around, an orange glow symbolizing courage rising from his fists.
Dressed in a white sweater, black trousers, and black shoes, he was none other than Delta Sans.
"I'm leaving."
Delta Sans passed through a gap in spacetime and headed to another spacetime.
Bill Sans rubbed his chin, intrigued by the Murder and Killer he had seen earlier.
"Interesting... Let's see whether you're worth making a deal with."
