Chapter Summaries

• Thanos tortured the High Evolutionary with the Soul Stone and learned that Ego had rescued Gamora’s companions.
• Thanos let Rocket take revenge on the High Evolutionary, then left with Rocket to answer the boss’s summons.
• Yang Bo assembled company employees, Kryptonians, Hulk, and others, then ordered Cyborg to open the Boom Tube.
• Hulk challenged Clark to a fight, but Yang Bo told him to wait as he prepared to confront Darkseid with his Red Matter Katar.

Yang Bo led an assault through the Boom Tube into Darkseid’s world, where his allies fought through the Parademon army. He reached Darkseid and attacked him with the Red Matter Katar, while the surrounding Parademons began falling in droves.

• Cyborg opened a Boom Tube, and Yang Bo led Ivan, Thanos, Clark, and the others through it to attack the Parademons.
• Yang Bo and his allies cut through the Parademon horde as Thor joined the battle and Clark’s fellow Kryptonians attacked from the air.
• Darkseid learned that Steppenwolf had failed and ordered an invasion to conquer the world containing the Anti-Life Equation.
• Desaad directed the Parademons to eliminate the intruders, and they unleashed a barrage of energy beams at Yang Bo’s group.
• Mages raised defensive Magic Circles while Yang Bo gave Barrier Torches to Quicksilver and Barry to disrupt the enemy formation.
• Yang Bo confronted Darkseid and repeatedly used the Red Matter Katar’s skill, causing Darkseid’s flesh and nearby Parademons to suffer its destructive effects.

Yang Bo fought Darkseid on Apokolips, using Black Hole magic and struggling to get past Darkseid’s rapid healing. Meanwhile, the allied army was nearly overwhelmed by Parademons until a Barrier Torch bought them time, and Thanos joined the battle with only the Time Stone functioning.
