Just then, a terrifying sense of pressure suddenly descended from the sky.
Everyone looked up, and their expressions changed at once.
A black warship even larger than Ronan's Dark Aster slowly descended.
The warship was shaped like an enormous double-bladed sword and radiated a suffocating presence.
"That's... Thanos's Sanctuary II!" Nova Prime's voice trembled.
Everyone present had heard of Thanos, the most terrifying tyrant in the universe, a madman who had slaughtered countless lives!
Compared with Ronan, Thanos was undoubtedly far more infamous-and far more terrifying.
Everyone sank into despair.
Against Ronan without the Power Stone, they still had a fighting chance. Against Thanos, they had none whatsoever.
Especially not after the devastating blow they had just suffered.
Amid that despair, a beam of blue light descended.
A burly, purple-skinned giant clad in golden armor slowly stepped out.
He held an enormous double-bladed sword, with three figures following behind him.
Ebony Maw, Corvus Glaive, and Proxima Midnight.
Thanos swept his gaze across the battlefield, looking upon the Nova Soldiers and survivors as though they were ants.
Finally, his eyes settled on Hermione, who hovered in midair with the Orb in her hand.
"The wielder of the Infinity Stones. The Kale Witch."
Thanos spoke in a deep, resonant voice that betrayed no emotion. "You already have more than enough Infinity Stones."
His face was expressionless, but the invisible pressure he exuded was far more terrifying than that of Ronan,
