"I can work for you! I'll do anything!" Quill said hastily.
A hint of mockery curled Hermione's lips.
"Work for me? I can't afford a subordinate who disobeys me and likes to tell me what to do."
Quill went pale. He opened his mouth, but could find nothing to say in his defense.
He knew his earlier behavior must have angered this unfathomable Witch.
Without Hermione's help, he probably couldn't even reach Titan on his own, let alone save Gamora.
Anxiety and regret flooded his heart.
Just as Quill was about to lose all hope, Hermione changed tack. "Still, I suppose there's no harm in bringing you along."
Quill jerked his head up, hope rekindling in his eyes.
"But you'll have to do something for me when the time comes," Hermione said leisurely. "I need to use you to lure someone out. It might be a little dangerous."
"No problem! I'll agree to anything!" Quill accepted without a second thought.
"Good." Hermione nodded, her gaze sweeping over Rocket Raccoon, Drax, and Groot beside him. "Bring these buddies of yours."
Hermione turned to Yondu. "Yondu, you're coming too."
Titan.
As far as the eye could see, the planet's surface was covered in shattered mountains and abandoned buildings. An air of desolation hung over it, as though the end of the world had come.
After emerging from the jump point, the Dark Aster slowly approached the planet and finally landed.
But those who disembarked from the warship were not Kree. They were Hermione, Yondu, and a band of Ravagers.
After Ronan had croaked, this truly massive warship had naturally become her spoils of war.
The Ravagers were beside themselves with excitement. They actually had a chance to fly Ronan's warship.
As Hermione had known, this planet had become a barren wasteland.
