"In debt?"
Tony looked at Aether with fascination. After hearing the boy's account, his first thought was that the kid's friends must have been scammed.
In his eyes, although Aether's friends were all exceptionally capable, they knew far too little about things here. Perhaps life in Teyvat was simply too honest and straightforward, but everyone who came from there seemed incredibly innocent.
"That little bit of money isn't a problem. Give the list to Potts, and she'll have it sorted out within five minutes."
Tony was happy that Aether had felt comfortable asking him. Family and friends were supposed to help each other through hard times, after all. He felt that his bond with the youngsters had grown a little deeper.
He even enjoyed the feeling of being relied on and trusted.
"Great! Tony really is amazing! Now we can save Wanmin Restaurant, too. Paimon was so worried the Traveler would sell Wanmin Restaurant to pay off the debt. Then I'd never get to eat all that delicious food again!"
Paimon clapped happily, her eyes narrowing into smiling crescents.
Lin Ze breathed a sigh of relief as well. "Thank you, Tony. I'll pay you back."
"No need to be so formal." Tony waved a hand. "Money is the last thing I'm short of. Just think of this as pocket money for you and Paimon."
"Pocket money!"
Paimon's eyes widened. "Tony really is rich! Then why are you always so stingy whenever I ask you for little cakes?"
The corners of Tony's mouth twitched. "That's because Paimon is always sneaking food without any restraint! I haven't seen you for a few days, but why does your face look rounder already? Get on the scale later so I can see how many pounds our little Paimon has gained. No flying to cheat
