Poison Ivy, Pamela Isley, was an expert in botany and toxins to begin with.
Catwoman, Selina Kyle, had grown up on Gotham's mean streets. She had seen every kind of dirty trick and knew the sinister traps laid by those who styled themselves members of high society.
Harley Quinn also held a doctorate in psychology. After joining the Joker, she had picked up most of what he knew through constant exposure, from all sorts of explosives to his terrifying Joker toxin. She could even formulate the toxin herself.
All three were experts in their respective fields. In theory, anything they had inspected together should have been safe.
Besides, her precious plants hadn't shown any unusual reactions to those gifts either.
"Um..." After much hesitation, Dick timidly raised his hand. Braving Poison Ivy's disgusted stare, he managed to ask, "Could I take a look?"
When her expression turned cold, Dick quickly raised both hands to show he meant no harm. "I swear I just want to help! I'll only look. I absolutely won't touch anything!"
