Ch. 101The Kid Had Finally Wised Up

Bruce outsmarted Victor in a training match, while Victor announced he was leaving to handle a personal matter. At the Wayne Christmas charity dinner, Ririko approached Sofia and Lazlo Valentin after seeing them arrive together.

  • Bruce used his suit’s advantages to pin Victor, winning their match and refusing to reveal his master’s identity.
  • Victor told Ririko he was quitting because Bruce had become too clever for him to kill anyone there, then kissed her before leaving.
  • Thomas and Martha welcomed guests to the Wayne charity dinner, where Dick, Barbara, and Harvey discussed Bruce’s arrival and Gotham’s missing young people.
  • Bruce and Ririko joined Dick, Barbara, and Harvey, and Bruce joked that he had begged Victor to let him attend.
  • Sofia arrived at the dinner with Lazlo Valentin, and Ririko picked up champagne and went over to them.

Ch. 102Only one of his legs had a problem

Ririko confronted Sofia about Valentin, then attended Edward Nygma’s riddle auction, where he revealed a puppet connected to the disappearances. After Ririko won the doll and gave it to Dick, Barbara tracked Valentin as he left the banquet.

  • Ririko checked Sofia’s face and warned her that Valentin could not be trusted, but Sofia defended him for helping her reclaim territory from Maroni.
  • Ririko teased Sofia about being jealous and revealed that she had slept with the one-legged penguin.
  • Edward Nygma hosted a riddle auction and directed a riddle about loss of humanity and control toward Ririko.
  • Ririko answered that the riddle’s solution was a puppet, and Edward revealed that the disappearances were connected to the Puppet Doll.
  • Edward declared that Ririko had won the doll with a donation of one hundred thousand, and she gave it to Dick.
  • Ririko noticed Valentin had left, and Barbara told her she had planted a tracker on him.

Ch. 103A Gift to Remember

On Christmas morning, Bruce gave Ririko a combat-model Batmobile registered in her name, but she wished he had given her jewelry instead. Later, Ririko joined Dick to watch Maroni’s office building, where they saw masked figures approach him.

  • Bruce led Ririko to the basement and revealed WayneTech’s new Batmobile as her Christmas gift.
  • Ririko pretended to like the car, while Bruce mistook her response for excitement and planned more bat-themed vehicles.
  • Ririko sat in a café and regretted not telling Bruce she wanted jewelry, while admiring the more practical gifts from Barbara, Dick, and Harvey.
  • Dick picked Ririko up in a pizza van and told her Valentin’s signal had stopped near Maroni’s office building.
  • Ririko and Dick watched Maroni leave the building, then Ririko saw several stiffly moving people wearing strange white masks approach him.

Ch. 104Let's Have a Pajama Party

Dick, Bruce, and Ririko fought Valentin’s puppet army and realized Wayne Pharmaceuticals was at risk if the police uncovered the truth. Ririko decided to seek Sofia’s help gathering evidence and arranged a pajama party.

  • Dick fought a White-Clad Man and helped protect fleeing civilians as Maroni’s men battled the puppets.
  • Bruce arrived and joined Dick in restraining a White-Clad Man, but removing its mask revealed a mangled face that later moved and reattached itself.
  • Ririko realized Edward had given her a marionette because he knew the missing people had been turned into puppets controlled by Valentin.
  • Back at the Dark Web, Bruce explained he lacked evidence to convince Wayne Pharmaceuticals’ board to act against Valentin.
  • Ririko invited Sofia to a pajama party so she could ask for help gathering evidence, and Sofia agreed.

Ch. 105Overestimating Ririko's Limits

Ririko visited Sofia’s apartment, where her playful pajama-party antics gave way to a confrontation over her alliance with Oswald. She agreed to hear what Valentin had done if Sofia told her, then called Butch and ordered him to deliver Oswald tied up.

  • Bruce dropped Ririko off at Sofia’s apartment, and she kissed his cheek before going upstairs alone.
  • Ririko teased Sofia about pajamas, showed her a scrap of black lace, and dragged her into Sofia’s closet.
  • Ririko spilled a pile of intimate accessories onto the closet bench, startling Sofia and prompting her to ask why Ririko had come.
  • Sofia demanded that Ririko cut ties with Oswald, and Ririko said she would work with Sofia if Sofia revealed what Valentin had done.
  • Ririko called Butch and ordered him to tie up Oswald and deliver him to her.

Ch. 106He Must Have Been Tortured Terribly

Ririko arranged for Butch to deliver Oswald, bound and blindfolded, to Sofia's apartment, where she declared she would leave him and then acted intimately with Sofia in front of him. Oswald was overwhelmed by what he heard and was returned to the mayor's Mansion unconscious, while Butch assumed Sofia had tortured him.

  • Oswald prepared to send Ririko a romantic message before Butch burst in and tied him up, saying Ririko had ordered him delivered to Sofia's apartment.
  • Oswald imagined Sofia had taken Ririko hostage and urged Butch to hurry so he could save her.
  • At Sofia's apartment, Ririko told Oswald she belonged to Sofia and would no longer see or help him, then reassured him that she had chosen this herself.
  • Ririko kissed Sofia and began touching her while Oswald sat bound and blindfolded nearby, leaving him bewildered and overwhelmed.
  • Butch brought Oswald back to the mayor's Mansion unconscious with a bloody nose and pitied him, believing Sofia had tortured him.

Ch. 107Your face was quite beautiful, too

Sofia confronted Valentin about his puppets, but he incapacitated her with neurotoxin and declared he wanted her face for his collection. Worried when Sofia disappeared, Ririko went with Dick to Valentin's clinic and broke into his operating room, where they found surgical tools.

  • Sofia asked Valentin how he controlled his puppets, and he explained that he used a neurotoxin to make them obey and ignore pain.
  • Valentin put on a pig mask, released neurotoxin into the room, and knocked Sofia unconscious.
  • Ririko learned that Oswald had awakened without memories of the incident and grew concerned when Sofia failed to contact her.
  • Bruce told Ririko he was going to expose Valentin at a Wayne Enterprises board presentation, while Ririko decided to investigate Sofia's disappearance.
  • Ririko and Dick entered Valentin's clinic using a key card Barbara had made and found an operating room stocked with surgical instruments.

Ch. 108The Pig-Masked Man

  • Bruce accused Valentin of illegal human experimentation and showed records linking missing people to Valentin’s beauty clinics.
  • Valentin’s masked puppets surrounded the board members with guns, and Valentin demanded Bruce in exchange for their lives.
  • Bruce agreed to go with Valentin, who gassed the boardroom and left everyone unconscious.
  • Ririko and Dick searched the underground lab and found Sofia strapped to an operating table as a surgeon prepared a laser instrument.

Ch. 109Cut off your face

Ririko was trapped by Valentin, Professor Pyg, after Dick escaped with Sofia, and he prepared to scan her face for his collection. The scanner malfunctioned under Ririko’s influence, and she ordered Valentin to cut off his own face.

  • Ririko found a hologram of a silver tube and became trapped in the locked room.
  • Valentin’s puppets took Ririko to his collection room, where Bruce sat unconscious beside her.
  • Ririko tried to lure Valentin within range of her power, but he started scanning her face instead.
  • The scanner displayed multiplying faces that tormented Valentin, and its puppets collapsed.
  • Valentin’s pig mask fell off, and Ririko commanded him to cut off his face.

Ch. 110Vice president of Wayne Enterprises

Ririko, Bruce, Dick, and Sofia escaped the underground clinic after Valentin transformed into a monster, and Sofia destroyed the site with explosives. Two days later, Bruce described his kidnapping at a Wayne Enterprises press conference, where Theo Galavan announced his appointment as vice president and Harley Quinn appeared beside him.

  • Valentin injected himself with the monster drug and transformed, forcing Ririko and Bruce to flee as gunfire failed to stop him.
  • Ririko found Dick in the corridor, and he joined Bruce in holding Valentin back while they escaped through the underground passage.
  • Sofia led the group out of the clinic, detonated her bombs, and drove them away as the building collapsed.

  • Ririko questioned Theo Galavan’s qualifications at his press conference, and Bruce also challenged how he had secured the board’s appointment.
  • Galavan claimed his family had a long history in Gotham and promised to reform Wayne Enterprises and increase its revenue.
  • At Wayne Manor, Thomas and Martha proposed a family vacation while Bruce protested that Galavan was trying to force them out of the company.

  • Bruce backed Ririko, and Thomas and Martha left to begin planning their response.

Ch. 112She Would Protect This Hundred-Billion-Dollar Dynasty
