[Consume the "Stone of Qi," Gale's Encouragement, to gain two abilities. The ability list is as follows.] [Ability 1: Wind's Speech. Expend the qi within your body to create and control wind. The more qi you expend, the more ways the wind can change, and the greater its power will become. Warning: do not exhaust your qi while controlling the wind. Even after it escapes your control, the wind's power will remain until it is completely spent.] [Ability 2: Move with the Wind. Spend denars to summon air currents that help troops march rapidly. The more denars you spend, the faster your troops will march. At maximum speed, the currents can allow marching troops to cover a thousand li by day and eight hundred by night. Please note that these are not figures of speech, so choose wide, unobstructed roads when using this ability. The more troops the ability covers, the more denars it will cost, increasing by multiples.]
The moment Allen received the gem and confirmed it was genuine, he agreed to Ragnar's terms. However, he added a condition of his own: he had to take the gem first, as part of his payment.
At this point, Allen commanded close to a thousand men at the very least. Although elite troops made up only about a third of them, with most of the rest being ordinary soldiers who could not afford iron armor, his force was still slightly stronger than that of the Kingdom of the Nords' most powerful lord.
In game terms, he had roughly three hundred powerful tier-four, tier-five, and tier-six soldiers, while the rest were all trash troops of tiers two and three.
Allen hardly ever accepted the lowest-tier militia. Taking them onto a battlefield would be nothing short of throwing their lives away.
