"Si Ang, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have used Second Son Damian to get under your skin.
You're not actually angry, are you? I was only saying it.
Come on, don't be angry. Don't be so petty."
Richie whispered into Si Ang's ear.
The tips of Si Ang's ears turned crimson, and he even grew a little bashful.
Anya was intensely curious about what Richie had said to this only son.
After Richie's soft, coaxing words, Si Ang was utterly defenseless.
His anger vanished completely. He even forgot why he had come looking for Richie in the first place. All he remembered was Richie whispering in his ear.
Once Richie finished whispering in his ear, Si Ang was too embarrassed to keep clinging to him.
He didn't even see Richie onto the school bus and watch him leave for home that day.
Instead, he raced around campus like a wild horse gone mad.
Richie chuckled softly, delighted. I finally shook off that clingy pest, Si Ang.
"Richie, what exactly did you say to Si Ang just now? Why did he get like that?"
Anya was so curious that she chased after Richie, asking him.
Richie abruptly stopped in his tracks, spun around, and stared straight at Anya. He raised a finger to his lips and gave a soft "Shh."
"Anya, there's an old saying in China: 'Curiosity killed the cat.' If you're that curious, you'd better watch out..."
Anya was frightened into immediate silence. Richie's so scary. Anya doesn't want to talk to Richie anymore.
Seeing that he had scared Anya into silence, Richie turned his attention to reaching the school bus and going home for dinner.
