Yor and Twilight walked side by side along the asphalt road as the sun set, their shadows stretching far behind them. A boy's giggles rang out now and then.
"Mr. Loid, what did you just throw away?" Yor asked Twilight, unable to contain her curiosity.
Twilight smiled and answered casually, "Some filth I just removed."
Richie knew that filth wasn't just ordinary filth. It also included his father's distrust of his mother, all of which had been thrown away.
"Speaking of which, didn't Richie want a little cake earlier? This is perfect. We didn't do anything for our first wedding anniversary, so let's buy a cake and take it home to celebrate."
"I'm all for it!" Yor cheered.
Once they got home, Richie was laid on the bed, unable to move. Twilight carefully removed his shoes and socks and changed him into a more comfortable, loose-fitting pair of pajamas.
After taking care of all the little details for Richie, Twilight returned to the kitchen to start making dinner, with Yor helping him.
The school bus sped away, leaving Anya behind in a cloud of dust.
Anya couldn't wait to get home. "Papa, Mama, Anya's home! Is Big Brother Richie okay?"
Everything was harmonious in the kitchen. Standing in the living room, Anya couldn't hear a single thought from either Twilight or Yor.
"Welcome home, Anya." Yor was wiping the plates.
Twilight also turned to face Anya. "What's wrong? Richie's in his room. He's hurt, so be careful, Anya. Go see your big brother."
Anya sensed no suspicion between Twilight and Yor. They were both in a wonderful mood, and she couldn't help beaming. "Papa and Mama are getting along! I'm going to see Big Brother Richie."
"I told you we weren't fighting." Twilight's smile was as warm as a spring
