Background & History
Nuwa created the Human Race and attained sainthood through the immeasurable merit gained from that act. Her Saint position and Dao Fruit were consequently tied to humanity's fortune and the title of Human Mother Saint. 60 122
During the Witch-Demon tribulation, the Demon Race slaughtered humans and harvested their Blood Essence to forge the Witch-Slaying Sword. Nuwa did not intervene; she later repaired the fallen heavens to obtain Heavenly Dao merit. Zhou Yuan characterizes her as having used the Human Race for enlightenment while neglecting its survival. 29
As the Human Race began producing powerful cultivators, Nuwa grew alarmed by its growing independence and by Fuxi's injury at their hands. She initially remained in Wa Huang Heaven, observing the situation and communicating beyond the Thirty-Three Heavens. 33
Conflict with the Human Race
Nuwa manifested at Huoyun Palace after the Human Race refused to bow to her. She demanded their reverence as their creator, suppressed Yuanshi Great Emperor, Lan Biwang, Zhongshan Shi, and others, and declared that the Human Race must respect the Human Mother Saint. 48 49
When millions of humans proclaimed that they revered only the Human Ancestor, Nuwa refrained from massacring them, recognizing both the immense karmic cost and the Human Race's resonance with the Heavenly Dao. She instead pressured the Human Ancestor's Sacred Court to force Zhou Yuan to appear. 50
Zhou Yuan publicly challenged her failure to protect humanity from the Demon Race and demanded accountability for Fuxi and the demons' crimes. Nuwa was forced to admit that she had indulged her kin and proclaim that she would protect the Human Race, though Zhou Yuan perceived her concealed intent to kill him later. 52 53
After Lan Biwang crippled Fuxi on Zhou Yuan's order, Nuwa threatened disaster against the Human Race rather than accept Fuxi's punishment. Zhou Yuan then thanked her for creating humanity and severed the karmic ties between Nuwa and the Human Race, destabilizing her Saint position. 54 55 56
Battles against the Human Race
Following the severance of humanity's fortune, Nuwa attempted to kill Zhou Yuan. The Ruthless Great Emperor intercepted her attack and began pursuing retribution for the Human Race. Nuwa fled after her weakened Saint position left her unable to fight at full strength, but was struck down and severely injured by the Ruthless Great Emperor. 57 60
Nuwa continued fighting alongside Di Jun and Eastern Emperor Taiyi, deploying her strongest treasures and supporting the Cosmic Star Array. Her loss of Human Race destiny and repeated injuries left her unable to display her original Hun Yuan-level combat power consistently. 62 65 72
She repeatedly prioritized saving Fuxi over the Human Race. Even while restrained by the Ruthless Great Emperor, Nuwa sent a wisp of Saintly power to protect Fuxi from Zhou Yuan. After Fuxi was transformed into the Limitless Eight Trigrams Disk, Nuwa sought to recover his true spirit and restore him. 79 81 91
Nuwa later concealed Fuxi's former Heavenly Emperor authority within her sea of consciousness, intending to preserve a means of controlling the Human Race. Zhou Yuan used the World-Breaking Bead's connection to human destiny to seize that authority from her. 100 101
Fall and Suppression
Nuwa attacked Yang Qi after being humiliated by him, but her Red Embroidered Ball was countered. Yang Qi later overwhelmed her with the Divine Elephant Suppression Prison Strength, struck her down with the Divine Tablet Palm, and immobilized her using the restored Gods' Imprint. 114 115 118
Although the Human Race could not initially kill a Hun Yuan Saint due to the immortality of her Saint Dao Fruit, they imprisoned Nuwa beneath the Great Tomb in the Human Race Sacred Court. The tomb's Yin Sha energy began eroding her body and threatening to taint her Dao Fruit. 121
Nuwa asserted that her status as Human Mother Saint had been ordained by Heaven and demanded that humanity repay the karma of its creation. Zhou Yuan answered by removing his own roots, bones, and flesh on behalf of the Human Race, declaring their debt repaid. He then deposed Nuwa as Human Mother Saint, causing her Saint Dao Fruit and Saint position to be stripped away. 122 123
Rather than kill her, Zhou Yuan retained Nuwa because of the karmic consequences of her death and her remaining Hun Yuan-level power. Yang Qi subsequently placed her beneath a grand formation that continuously siphoned her mana and Dao rhythm to support the construction of the Human Race's Trial Towers. 123 125
In a later appearance, Nuwa sought Zhou Yuan's aid with human flooding disasters and agreed to support his pursuit of the Primordial realm in exchange for his assistance. 368
Appearance
Nuwa manifests as a graceful and solemn woman surrounded by Saintly phenomena and immense pressure. Her appearance is described as exquisitely beautiful, dignified, and soul-captivating. 48

Personality
Nuwa initially presents herself as serene, authoritative, and worthy of universal reverence. She views the Human Race's refusal to worship her as rebellion against the natural order and repeatedly invokes her role as their creator to demand obedience. 48 49
Her actions reveal a strong attachment to Fuxi and the Demon Race. She protects Fuxi even while disregarding the suffering of the Human Race, refuses to punish him for his crimes, and becomes vengeful when he is crippled and later killed. 54 79 81
Despite her pride, Nuwa is pragmatic when faced with opponents beyond her expectations. She hesitates before the karmic consequences of killing humanity, attempts to recruit the Ruthless Great Emperor, appeals to Laozi's karmic debt to save Fuxi, and later seeks cooperation from Zhou Yuan. 50 59 80 368
