• Sword Alliance — Operational partner and an organization joined by several senior disciples. Its experts participate in the campaign against the Six Desires and Seven Emotions Demon Venerables 23 25 37.
• Dao Alliance — Joint planner of the Yongning Commandery operation. Its rules prevent personal grudges between disciples from automatically implicating their sects 25 32 37.
• Qin Household — Longstanding friendly partner. Qin Ge agrees to the identity substitution arranged for Li Yang and asks him to teach Qin Feng how to conduct himself 39.
• Ancient Immortal Ning Lineage — Connected through Ning Xinyao and Ning Xi. Lu Feng hopes Ning Qingfeng’s protection can shield Li Yang from the Six Desires Demon Venerable, while acknowledging that the sect cannot afford to offend her 5 28.
• Green Lotus Sword Sect — Its elder proposes pairing Yan Zhaoxi with Li Yang during the expedition’s stop at Kunyuan Immortal City; Lu Feng declines 40.
• Five Elements Dharma Palace and other bereaved factions — Their disciples and elders seek revenge for Li Yang’s killings. The Dharma Palace’s Mahayana backing initially deters Mystic Heaven’s elders from confronting Chu Du directly 32 37.

Story Role / Major Arcs

Shen Lou’er Affair

Shen Lou’er’s murder of fellow disciples draws condemnation from righteous sects and prompts a Sword Alliance expert to block Mystic Heaven’s gates. Lu Feng sends Li Yang to escort her through the Mystic Demon Mountain Range to Myriad Phenomena City, bypassing the watchers outside 1 5.

Li Yang discovers that the murders were deliberate and kills her despite Lu Feng’s intervention. Back at the sect, he accuses his master of enabling her crimes. Lu Feng subsequently reveals his intention to use Li Yang as bait against the Six Desires and Seven Emotions Demon Venerables 2 4 5.

Yongning Commandery Operation

The sect joins the Sword Alliance and Dao Alliance in a planned encirclement of the two demon venerables. It also spreads information that draws Ning Qingfeng’s mortalized body into the affair 25.

Lu Feng sends three senior disciples to reinforce Li Yang while he and a senior expert attack the venerables’ true bodies. Li Yang destroys their manifestations through Gu Zang and Xuan Shi, but also kills Xiao Feng, Ning Qingfeng’s mortalized body. The resulting danger causes Lu Feng and the other senior cultivators to withdraw before Ning Qingfeng arrives 23 25.

Arena Challenges and Retaliation

After returning to the sect, Li Yang invites his enemies to its Life-and-Death Arena. Visiting prodigies initially humiliate Wang Liexiao and Senior Brother Zhou, but Li Yang—disguised as Qin Feng—kills Chu Du, another Golden Core challenger, and Yuan Sha 28 32 35 36.

The slain prodigies’ elders then confront the sect. Its ancestor invokes Xuanyuan’s backing, while Lu Feng cites the sanctioned Yongning operation and Dao Alliance rules. The hostile elders eventually leave, though they threaten revenge within the upcoming secret realm 37 38.

Immortal Relic Province Expedition

The Mystic Heaven Ancestor leads selected disciples to an ancient immortal’s secret realm. Li Yang maintains his Qin Feng disguise, while Lu Feng publicly claims that Li Yang remains at the sect recovering from injuries 40 43.

Inside, Li Yang’s command of the Ten Directions Sword Formation strengthens the sect’s reputation among trial participants. Ning Xi supports his subsequent fighting against the Myriad Venom Dynasty, while the real Qin Feng witnesses the qualities that distinguish Li Yang as a sword cultivator 46 47 48.

Elsewhere, Su Miao and Sect Master Peak’s other female disciples face the Spirit Devouring Cult. Ye Zhiqiu abandons them during their confrontation with the Dual Cultivation Demon Scion, leaving the group in danger until a mysterious sword wielder arrives 50.
