Ning Xi is a core descendant of the Ancient Immortal Ning Lineage who has received Ning Qingfeng’s true teachings. Ning Xinyao describes her as a pride of the lineage and Ning Qingfeng’s favorite child. By family seniority, Ning Xinyao must address her as Aunt, despite Ning Xi being the newer disciple at Crane-Cry Peak 28 40 41.

Her resemblance to Ning Qingfeng initially convinces Li Yang that she is another incarnation of the ancestor. Lu Feng explicitly denies this, identifying her as a separate member of the Ning Lineage.
