Background and History

Chaos Ruins and Hongjun's Alliance

After a historical breakthrough to half-step eternal, the War-Heaven Demon God plundered a Saint Weapon from the Chaos Ruins. The weapon contained substantial reserves of demonic essence and soul power 281.

He joined the Chaos Godfiends supporting Old Ancestor Hongjun against Lu Feng. On confronting Lu Feng, he demanded surrender and declared that opposing Hongjun meant becoming an enemy of the Chaos Godfiends. He later revealed that he had originally intended to deal with Lu Feng after finishing off Lin Feng 279 286 298.

Battle with Lu Feng

Their opening exchanges left both combatants wounded, with Lu Feng piercing the War-Heaven Demon God's chest. The Demon God repeatedly demanded submission before escalating to demonic vortices, his Saint Weapon, and increasingly powerful weapon attacks 279 281.

As the battle continued, he burned blood essence to strengthen the War God Art and used the God-Extinguishing Seal against Lu Feng. Lu Feng subsequently cracked his Giant Axe, while the Demon God claimed to have recovered seventy percent of his strength. Faced with the growing soul power of Lu Feng's lance, he resorted to his blood-infused black club 289 291 293 295 296.

Lu Feng severely wounded him and tore apart his Demon Slasher attack. The Demon God responded with soul-devouring techniques, bloodline flames, and summoned beasts. He eventually enclosed an underground space and transformed into a towering blood-red giant, declaring that he had prepared the trap to make Lu Feng his food 302 303 304 308 310.

After further exchanges, Lu Feng repeatedly pierced his body with sword qi. The War-Heaven Demon God then summoned a hundred black-robed figures, including two eighth-level Primordial Unity Saints, before resuming the fight himself 319.

Defeat and Death

The War-Heaven Demon God unleashed Demon God's Wrath, gaining enough power to drive Lu Feng back repeatedly. Lu Feng recognized that the technique would damage its user's body and soul, weaken his demonic qi, and eventually cause backlash 320 321.

Lu Feng countered the forbidden technique with a mysterious stone tablet and fought him using the Chaos Diagram. He then condensed chaos power into a spear and pierced the Demon God's chest. The remaining chaos qi drained from the Demon God's body before it exploded into bloody mist, killing him completely 322.

Afterward, Lu Feng claimed his storage ring, pills, corpse, and other materials. The assembled Chaos world and Demon God Hall figures submitted to Lu Feng, while four other Chaos World Demon Gods abandoned their challenge 322.

He repeatedly dismisses Lu Feng's attacks as insignificant, demands that he kneel, and reacts angrily when challenged or injured. His threats include mutilation, prolonged torment, and devouring his opponent 281 282 284 310.

His arrogance does not prevent tactical caution. He becomes wary of Lu Feng's swordsmanship, recognizes the growing danger of his lance, and prepares an underground trap rather than relying solely on direct combat. He eventually admits that he underestimated Lu Feng, though he refuses to concede defeat 283 296 303 310.

He also covets power-enhancing treasures. On recognizing the potential benefits of Lu Feng's Divine Artifact Heart, his fear gives way to greed, and he immediately launches another technique to pursue it 304.
