Ch. 526Heading to Yaochi

Lu Feng and Sun Jiuyang left Sword Finger Peak after learning that Sword Martial Venerable and Yuqing Daoist were fellow disciples, then headed toward Yaochi for the Flat Peach Banquet. Lu Feng found a way to counter the Light Dao Body's scheme by planning to make a magic treasure with materials available in Jade Void City.

  • Lu Feng and Sun Jiuyang left Sword Martial Venerable and Yuqing Daoist after their fierce argument, and Sun Jiuyang explained Yuqing Daoist's origins in the Eighth Heaven.
  • Sun Jiuyang told Lu Feng about the Three Pure Ones Daoists and their rumored connection to Pangu's primordial spirit.
  • Sun Jiuyang urged Lu Feng to travel with him to Yaochi and described Jade Void City as a place where almost anything could be bought.
  • Lu Feng asked Sun Jiuyang about nine-eared grain and ten-thousand-year peach wood, then proposed using them to refine a magic treasure.
  • Lu Feng planned to use the Nail-Head Seven Arrows Book to kill the restless Innate Dao Bodies and resolve his predicament.

Ch. 527Killing Others, Killing Yourself

Lu Feng told Sun Jiuyang about several deadly secret arts the High Priest had taught him, and Sun Jiuyang warned that using them would consume the caster’s merit and fortune. Lu Feng realized the High Priest had likely taught him arts intended to bring about his own death.

  • Lu Feng explained the Nail-Head Seven Arrows Book to Sun Jiuyang, who warned that using it would deplete the caster’s fortune and could kill him.
  • Lu Feng described the Six Souls Banner, and Sun Jiuyang said it was even more dangerous and could bring calamity even to a powerful user.
  • Lu Feng began describing the Destruction Gu Mosquito, and Sun Jiuyang recognized it as a vicious art that even an Immortal King could not safely refine.
  • Lu Feng asked about a formation, and Sun Jiuyang identified it as the Ten Absolute Arrays, concluding that whoever taught Lu Feng these arts must have held a deep grudge against him.
  • Lu Feng accepted that the secret arts were likely meant to kill both their targets and their user.

Ch. 528Killing with a Borrowed Blade

Lu Feng learned from Sun Jiuyang that the secret arts taught by the High Priest could consume their user’s fortune and be countered, but might be used to kill enemies through borrowed blades. After rejecting Sun Jiuyang’s risky schemes, Lu Feng arrived with him at Jade Void City.

  • Sun Jiuyang explained the Ten Absolute Arrays’ fatal flaw: their baleful energy could be drained by sending someone in to die, leaving the formation vulnerable.
  • Lu Feng cursed the High Priest for teaching him dangerous secret arts, and Sun Jiuyang suggested teaching them to an enemy’s enemy to kill with a borrowed blade.
  • Sun Jiuyang proposed giving the arts to people with innate Dao bodies, but Lu Feng realized they might target him and cursed Sun Jiuyang for the scheme.
  • Sun Jiuyang said Lu Feng’s sword, which had belonged to Pangu, might protect him from the Nail-Head Seven Arrows Book, but Lu Feng refused to gamble his life and renamed the sword the Dao Evolution Sword.
  • Lu Feng and Sun Jiuyang traveled for half a year and reached Jade Void City, the largest city in the Kunlun Immortal Realm.

Ch. 529A Treasure Emerges

Ch. 530Don't Make Any Rash Moves

Lu Feng followed the White Cloud Sect group to Yaochi and searched for a way inside, hoping to reach Su Yuexi and Su Yuexin before the Flat Peach Banquet. A mysterious man in blue warned him that Yaochi was far more dangerous inside than it appeared, leaving Lu Feng to reconsider breaking in.

  • Lu Feng followed the two Primordial Unity Golden Immortals and their group away from Mirror Fate Mountain toward Yaochi.
  • Lu Feng and Sun Jiuyang reached Yaochi and saw the group pass through its guarded entrance.
  • Sun Jiuyang told Lu Feng that his master, the Crazy Old Man, had once stolen Yaochi's Flat Peaches and all seven gourds from its Innate Gourd Vine.
  • Lu Feng decided to use the Rusty Sword to break through Yaochi's formation from a secluded spot away from the main gate.
  • A man in blue appeared beside Lu Feng and Sun Jiuyang, warned Lu Feng not to enter Yaochi recklessly, and vanished.

Ch. 531Yaochi Holy Mother

Lu Feng and Sun Jiuyang waited near Yaochi for the Flat Peach Banquet, as cultivators from across the Kunlun Immortal Realm gathered. The Yaochi Holy Mother opened the banquet and introduced the Five Sacred Mountains Divine Continent cultivators, including Su Yuexin and Su Yuexi, leaving Lu Feng anxious at their appearance.

  • Sun Jiuyang guessed that the mysterious young man was the Panshen Heavenly Palace Palace Master, and Lu Feng decided to wait near Yaochi rather than enter it.
  • Lu Feng watched Yaochi’s exit while Sun Jiuyang checked Mirror Fate Mountain, and the crowds around Yaochi grew as the Flat Peach Banquet approached.

Ch. 536Whoever Claims the Treasure Shall Lead the Alliance

  • The assembled factions agreed to allow sparring but forbid deliberate fights to the death, prevent disputes over minor losses, and unite against outside races.
  • Sun Jiuyang warned Lu Feng that the alliance rules had loopholes and that powerful sects could make others swallow their grievances.
  • The Panshen Heavenly Palace Palace Master asked how violators would be punished and insisted that the alliance choose a leader.
  • The Yaochi Holy Mother proposed that the disciples compete for a treasure on Mirror Fate Mountain, with whoever obtained it becoming alliance leader.
