After building an alliance with the Gao Family, Tang Yan learned Mingyou Valley was preparing to attack Southern Wilderness City and warned Gao Bufan to stay alert.

• Tang Yan moved Reach the Summit to its new base, negotiated a major pill deal with Gao Jinsong, and offered the Gao Family discounts in exchange for medicinal herbs.
• Tang Yan welcomed Lan Guiwei and the Lan Family, treated Madam Lan, recruited Elder Ling and eighty Alchemy Masters, and learned Mingyou Valley had placed a bounty on him.
• Tang Yan persuaded Gao Bufan to ambush Mingyou Valley’s men while disguising the attack as a Zhong Family operation, and Ming Chen died after Tang Yan wounded him and helped the Gao Family finish the fight.

• Fang Xuan and Du Shu recruited Su Ruyan to Reach the Summit, while Tang Yan brought Lei Yu in under the alias Cheng Xin and planned a Specialty Pills blind-box business with Du Shu.
• Tang Yan negotiated with Mo Jianming, absorbed the Yin Nether Qi from the Yin-Yang Spring, retrieved the Yin Dragon Command, and secured the Mo Lineage’s secret alliance against Mingyou Valley.

Inside the realm, he and Zi Yun harvested inheritance-bearing fruits, then Tang Yan opened the Heavenly Arms Mine and turned it into a profitable operation for his group and other cultivators.

• Tang Yan rescued Yang Jiayi and Yu Juechen, defeated Huang Tianzong, and forced the Desolate Clan to surrender most of its assets and future earnings to Reach the Summit.
• Tang Yan gave secret-realm places to the Artifact Pavilion and the Star-Gazing Pavilion, lectured at the Star-Gazing Pavilion, and returned to find purple scales growing on Zi Yun.
• Tang Yan worked with Du Shu to expand Reach the Summit’s pill business, then led the group to Heaven-Covering Valley for the Heavenly Selection Secret Realm.
