• Chu Xingchen and Xie Lingyu shared a song and confessed their feelings, while Chen Baiqing and the other disciples welcomed their growing closeness.
• Lin Luoyu met Yuyang Daozi and revealed that Chu Xingchen had secretly come to the Western Ox-He Continent, while Chu Xingchen found Wukong, Guangming Buddha, and Winter Melon as they fled the Buddhist Sect.
• Chu Xingchen used Winter Melon’s messages to Xu Linglong to gather information, then sent her to a contact as Buddhist forces closed in around them.
• Ruzhong confronted Ru Nan about the Buddhist Sect’s compromises, but Ru Nan ordered him suppressed and mobilized Buddhas to pursue the Evil Buddha and the arriving allies.
• Chu Xingchen brought Wukong and Winter Melon to Yuyang Daozi, where they prepared Yuankong to impersonate Guangming Buddha and mislead Ru Nan.

As the Buddhist and Devil forces converged on Chu Xingchen, Bai Xuanling broke through to True Immortal but survived the final tribulation only after Chu Xingchen sacrificed his cultivation to save her. The battle ended with Chu Xingchen badly weakened and recovering among his companions, while Bai Xuanling and Qinghe returned to A Loving Family Peak.

• Li Yingling sent Zhang Miaoyu to the Three-Sect Alliance post, where Zhang recruited Ye Wanzhou and asserted her authority as a Heavenly Sect special envoy.
• Prajna rallied the Dust-Matters Buddhas to confront the Evil Buddha, while Chu Xingchen prepared for the meeting between Ru Nan and the Buddhist Sect.
• Prajna attacked the Three Sects’ formation, and Xu Linglong shattered it as Heavenly Demons and Buddhist forces descended on Chu Xingchen.
• Huang Miao and Bai Xuanling fought to protect Chu Xingchen, and Bai Xuanling broke through to True Immortal after he used the Spirit-Shattering Butterfly Jade to help her ascend.

Chen Baiqing and Cui Hao investigated the demons and evil cultivators in Cloud Dream Marsh, while Cui Hao pushed the Wild Boar Demon to reform his treatment of villagers. Chu Xingchen drew Zheng Zhaoling into an inspection of the marsh, leaving Chen Baiqing and Zheng Zhaoling pursuing their own inquiries there.

• Chu Xingchen recovered and sent Cui Hao with Chen Baiqing to the Profound Clarity Heavenly Sect, where they joined a squad assigned to investigate a cult linked to Heavenly Demons.
• Chen Baiqing led Cui Hao and their companions into Cloud Dream Marsh, where they questioned Shan Meng and learned about the demons ruling the villages.
• Chen Baiqing gave the old woman of Flower Marsh Village a counterfeit crystal and asked her to invite the Marsh God to discuss a partnership.
• Chu Xingchen, Yuyang Daozi, and Xu Jin tried to steal Sect Leader Lü’s Spring Warmth, but the alarm left Xu Jin facing the consequences alone.

Back at the Heavenly Derivation Sect, Chu Xingchen turned Winter Melon toward cooperation as Li Yingling prepared to break through and Chu Xingchen recognized how close he was to returning to the Mahayana Realm.

• Zheng Zhaoling pressured Cloud Marsh to seal Cloud Dream Marsh, while Cui Hao and Chen Baiqing’s allies prepared to capture the Evil Cultivators trapped inside.
• Chen Baiqing’s group attacked the Evil Cultivators as Zheng Zhaoling helped Cloud Marsh quell the unrest, and Cui Hao later revealed himself as Chu Xingchen’s Fifth Disciple.
• Cui Hao kept his promise to treat Zheng Zhaoling to Spring Warmth, and she left on friendly terms after urging him to act honorably and inviting him to Cloud Dream Pavilion.
