She really did waver.
Her fist slowly tightened as she looked at the face hovering between life and death inside the Spirit Coffin, a trace of conflict in her eyes.
At last, she raised her head again and fixed her gaze on Lin En.
Clatter-
The forest of countless twisted blades instantly spread through the entire Church, baring its fangs and claws. An enormous, distorted demonic shadow appeared above her, and no matter how one looked at it, this was nothing like the power a Divine Attendant of the Church should possess.
"What are you going to do?"
Lin En replied with dead-fish eyes:
"I already told you. Take her up there to see the Valkyrie."
Jiu's voice was cold and calm. Standing there, she was like a towering wall.
"Only broken fragments of her soul remain. They'll shatter at a touch. Moving her soul now would kill her."
"I don't need you to teach me that."
Lin En refused to indulge her. He simply ignored the blades surrounding him, strode toward the Spirit Coffin beside her, and crouched down to examine its occupant's condition.
To his surprise, her condition had actually stabilized. Although the injuries to her body and soul remained unchanged, they strangely showed no signs of worsening, as though everything inside the Spirit Coffin had been suspended in the state it was in when she was placed there.
Jiu said quietly:
"This is my Divine Coffin. As long as she stays inside, her condition will remain frozen at that moment."
What a treasure.
Didn't that mean it could keep someone forever ageless and undying?
An image of putting Hana Ye inside instantly surfaced in his mind. Wouldn't that give him a little girl who would never grow up...
Lin En quickly shook his head and said solemnly:
