Golden flames surged upward. The single piece of Origin Substance that carried her soul erupted with immense Holy Flame. A golden spear condensed from fire appeared in her hand almost instantly, and she abruptly stepped in front of Shinsen Saya.
She still naively believed that this might be the invasion by an evil demon from Beyond the Domain that their Divine Chosen had spoken of.
She had not even considered-or rather, did not want to consider-why such an evil demon could appear so brazenly in their Valkyrie's domain, right before her.

Her eyes blazed, and flames rose around her.
"Your voice... why... what have you done to him?!"

It was a terrifying shadow that seemed capable of penetrating the depths of her soul and awakening her deepest fears.
