The Evil Spirit Wizard and the Lich nodded shakily.
Lin En stood up and said softly:
"Salgon, did you hear that? The culprit who put a bounty on my wife will be here soon. How do you think we should welcome them?"
Salgon instantly tightened his grip on his scythe, and roaring flames surged over its blade.
A jet of flame burst from his nostrils as he said, his voice murderous:
"Don't worry, Master! If they really dare come, Salgon will make sure they come in standing and leave lying down!"
Lin En rubbed his chin.
He really was growing more and more curious.
Who would pay such a high price to put a bounty on a helpless little girl? And in just a single day, they had raised the bounty tenfold.
So what exactly was the reason? Her family background, or something else?
Lin En glanced sideways at Hana Ye, who was still tied up there, o(╥﹏╥)o.
The Grand Graveyard.
Howling winds swept through the blood-red mist, shrouding the entire graveyard beneath ominous clouds.
This was the Second Layer of the Spirit Realm, a domain far removed from reality. There was no sun in the sky, only vast banks of red mist that seemed to drift eternally, veiling the heavens.
At the edge of the Grand Graveyard,
the Evil Spirit Wizard and the Lich stood trembling as they waited, desperately trying not to let their nerves betray anything unusual.
They had thought surrendering all their possessions would save their lives, but judging by that lord's intentions, he clearly wanted to use them as bait and ambush whoever had posted the bounty.
"Watch yourselves, and don't get any ideas. My master spared you because he's merciful, but if you try anything..."
Salgon's vicious voice echoed in their minds.
