Like ants spilling from a breached nest, they rapidly spread in every direction, forming a vast, loose encirclement.
Lin Mo leaned toward the screen, his eyebrows lifting slightly as he watched the rapidly spreading red.
"Whoa, quite the turnout. Are they coming out in full force?"
Long Zhan stood before the screen with his arms folded, without a trace of surprise on his face.
"With all the noise we're making, they'd have to be incredibly stupid not to notice."
He reached out and tapped the scale marking the distance between the two sides on the screen.
"Thirty kilometers. Only reacting at this distance is far slower than I expected."
The corners of Long Zhan's mouth lifted.
"It seems nearly two hundred years of throwing their weight around on this continent has long since stripped these wretched things of their vigilance."

By normal logic, having just fought a battle ten days ago, they should have sent plenty of scouts to keep a close eye on Great Xia's movements, rather than only noticing once an entire army had advanced this close.
