The next morning.
The sea breeze blew.
Everyone gathered in the clearing by the sea.
The clearing lay two kilometers behind Great Xia's Portal, farther inland.
The ground was level, and the view was open.
Lin Mo stood on high ground, surveying the entire area.
The races had all chosen their locations well.
They were close to Great Xia's Portal, keeping logistics costs low.
Clustering the races' Portals together made concentrated defense easier.
The spacing between them was just right, too. If any race tried anything, there would be time to react.

Adrian raised an eyebrow.
"Elder Thorin, please watch your language."
"The Elves conduct a great deal of trade with Great Xia. The Treant Fortress's Weapon Modules, and the Warships in the future, require frequent transport."
"We have greater need of this location."
The Dragon Yadis snorted.
"That's right. We want it too!"
Warwick sighed and said nothing.
It seemed he would not get a turn.
Thorin snapped:
"So what? I picked it first!"
Just then.
Kael walked over.
Dressed in white robes, he approached at an unhurried pace and said calmly:
"Everyone, this spot..."
"Belongs to our Holy Human Race."
At those words.
Thorin exploded, not expecting yet another contender for the spot.
"Kael!"
His beard trembled as he pointed straight at Kael.
"What makes it yours just because you say so!"
Kael
