The next day, before dawn, the courtyard was already filled with the sounds of people moving about.
The members of Dark Night got up along with them.
"Yo, didn't you two go hang out on the summit? Why'd you come back?" Monkey asked when he saw A-Dai and Zhi Rui coming out of their rooms too.
"It was too fucking cold. We couldn't sleep, so we came back..." A-Dai said listlessly.
"Hahaha, you idiots!"
"Who are you calling an idiot, idiot?"
"You... you little brat! Picking a fight on purpose, huh?"
"You started it!"
"So what if I called you an idiot? Got a problem? Fight me!"
"Fine! You can't beat me anyway!"
They traded blows as they argued, even using their special abilities. Every punch landed solidly, and they seemed to be hitting much harder than they had in yesterday's sparring match.
Startled, Zhi Rui hurried off to get Sister Yao.
"Don't worry. They're like this every day. They can fight a dozen times a day." Bai Yaoyao yawned and waved dismissively.
