After five days of specialized ability training in groups, lessons in coordinated team combat began.
Bai Yaoyao and the members of Dark Night demonstrated how to combine their abilities. They had wanted to find opponents of roughly equal strength for a sparring match, but no one could even last past the second move.
Bai Yaoyao could only send in the Beasts Legion. Once she and the others had beaten every beast, including Tiger Cub, the beasts refused to participate anymore.
The members could only split into groups and fight each other. A-Dai and Monkey grew angry as they fought. Not only did both get injured, they nearly punched through the training grounds. Bai Yaoyao flew into a rage and gave each of them a vicious beating.
Most importantly, she refused to let Peiqi heal them. Only then did the two settle down and obediently shake hands and make peace.
And so... the team combat lessons ended there.
Everyone else trembled as they watched. Dark Night was truly ruthless. They were brutal toward the trainees, but even more brutal toward their own members.
Those attacks were unbelievable. They held absolutely nothing back. If one of those blows landed on any of the trainees, it would probably kill them outright.
Bai Yaoyao mainly wanted to give everyone some ideas. Dark Night's current teamwork was not necessarily perfect, nor did everyone need to copy it exactly.
Everyone could find the best way to combine abilities based on the makeup of their own teams.
It had to be said that there was strength in numbers.
Bai Yaoyao even spotted several new combinations she liked and quietly had everyone in Dark Night note them down so they could try them out sometime.
It was a learning opportunity for everyone, after all.
