"Don't bother trying to use your special abilities. A zombie infant naturally blocks every special ability within a one-kilometer radius, and he's immune to all special abilities himself.
"On top of that, blades and bullets can't hurt him. He fears neither water nor fire, and no poison can touch him. Almost none of humanity's methods of attack work on him."
Seeing Monkey's look of disbelief, Bai Yaoyao offered that explanation.
"Doesn't that make him invincible? Who could possibly beat him?"
"We don't need to fight him. We've been chatting here all this time. Has he attacked us?" Bai Yaoyao said calmly.
"Sister Yao, just tell us everything at once! The suspense is killing me!" A-Dai slapped a thigh impatiently.
"He has no means of attacking. He's basically just a mascot."
Bai Yaoyao took a Baseball Bat out of her storage space and swung it hard at him. The instant it struck the zombie infant, it bounced away with a sharp clang, as though it had hit a chunk of iron.
The zombie infant cried fiercely at them, but... crying was all he did. He wailed on and on without doing anything else.
"Then why bother killing him? He can't attack us anyway," Xiao Shiliu asked in confusion.
Everyone immediately turned to look at Xiao Shiliu with disdain.
Xiao Shiliu looked utterly bewildered. "Wh-what? Can someone explain?"
"Are you stupid? Of course there's nothing to fear if it's just one zombie infant. But... what if the zombies brought him along when they attacked the city? Would you be scared then?"
Only then did Xiao Shiliu catch on. Bringing him along during a zombie siege?
Fight tens of thousands of zombies without special abilities? Uh, yes. I'd be scared to death...
