Who was the real Calamity here?
Was the Third Zone your home? You even had a neighborhood group chat?
"I forgot. You don't have Terminals."
Wan Lan looked toward the person hiding in the distance. "Kou Ying, where are those latest Terminals you developed? Give me two more."
Kou Ying took out two Obsidian ear studs. "You asked for one before. That must have been for the [Wind and Thunder King], right? Are you really planning to set up an undercover Calamity department?"
Wan Lan caught the studs and handed them to Blue Sea.
"Why not? There are secrets deep in the Forbidden Zone that we can't uncover. Since we aren't strong enough yet, we'll use outside forces to explore."
She sighed regretfully. "Unfortunately, [Those Without a Home] left too quickly back then. Otherwise, we wouldn't have just one Calamity in the group."
Blue Sea glanced at the ear stud in his palm and tapped it. A light screen appeared. There was only one group in the contacts list, named-
Traitor's Home.
His mouth twitched. Traitors, indeed. After so many years away, the world had become unrecognizable to him.
Could the Present World even buy off Calamities now?
He wondered what sort of being the other party was, and why they wanted to become a traitor.
Wan Lan thought for a moment and decided to add her teammates too. It would make passing on messages easier in the future.
Far away in the Third Zone, a faint notification sounded beside the [Wind and Thunder King]'s ear. It tapped the Obsidian on its ear, and a light screen appeared.
Several people joined the empty group, instantly livening it up.
"Let's see who Wan Lan invited. Ye Buyu, Su Wuwei... all people from Hold Up the Heavens. And Blue Sea. Who's that?"
