Appearance
Su Wuwei is a handsome boy with a carefully maintained appearance and a bright, sunny smile 13 14.
- Amber eyes, which blaze with golden flames when he charges into battle 13 14.
- Meticulously styled hair; he tidies it even while demanding compensation after the assessment 23 30.
- Polished clothing and grooming, appearing impeccably put together when Ye Buyu first meets him in a treetop 13.
- Fashion-conscious clothing: At the later tournament, he wears an off-white asymmetrical shirt, a sash fastened with a gold brooch, black high-waisted trousers, and a white waistband chain. Wan Lan compares his appearance to someone preparing to make an entertainment debut 254.
- Calamity appearance: His hair lengthens and turns golden, while his eyes become crimson. Ye Buyu's restoration returns him to short black hair and amber eyes; he later displays the golden-haired, scarlet-eyed appearance again in battle 327 344 617.
- Time-travel attire: During the group's physical journey into the past, he wears a white-and-gold robe that gives him the appearance of a Divine Official 468.
When he reveals more of his concealed nature, golden rings form around his pupils, and his usually warm expression becomes cold and unsettling 116.
Personality
Su Wuwei’s cheerful manner conceals a suspicious and calculating streak. Before introducing himself to Ye Buyu, he secretly observes her; her unusual perception and unexpectedly low tier convince him that she may be an infiltrating calamity. Once her healing proves his mistake, he acknowledges it and later apologizes 14 15.
He openly treats Ye Buyu as a means of finding Mu Bingge and proposes using her to lure calamities while he delivers the finishing blows. His insistence on pursuing a high assessment score is pushy enough that Ye Buyu refuses to leave a tree until he agrees to put his safety promise in writing 15.
Despite his scheming, he believes cooperation and information sharing serve the Awakened’s greater mission of uncovering the apocalypse’s truth. During the emergency, he rushes to rescue Ye Buyu, stays behind to receive late arrivals, and joins the defenders buying time for evacuation 16 18 21 23.
His competitiveness is selective: he wants to test himself against Mu Bingge, but repeatedly tries to redirect Wan Lan toward other opponents during the free-for-all. He claims to be fighting at full strength, while Wan Lan suspects he is withholding more 15 42.
He habitually seeks entertainment, teases others, and treats his teammates' misfortunes as opportunities for amusement. His Butterfly Egg gifts are initially intended partly as a prank, and he later attempts to make the apparently unconscious Lou Guanshan a test subject for Ye Buyu's new weapon. These habits repeatedly provoke retaliation from his teammates 66 85 140 141 179. Even after the team's later return, he briefly pretends to be a threatening version of himself from another time purely to enjoy the onlookers' alarm 751.
His apparent detachment gradually gives way to deep loyalty. Zhao Zhe observes that he has changed from a spectator into someone willing to participate in the story. Su Wuwei insists on remaining with Hold Up the Heavens because he believes the team can uncover the world's truth, and he eventually threatens his own life rather than accept a teammate facing mortal danger alone 147 192 317.
He is sensitive to the exploitation of individuals in the name of larger interests. When Wang Jianshe discusses weighing contributions and wrongdoing, Su Wuwei angrily challenges the possibility that an insignificant victim would simply be forgotten. He likewise objects to treating Ye Buyu as a tool for investigating the power behind her 202.
His love of entertainment ultimately reflects a deeper attachment to civilization: he cherishes watching societies grow, change, and produce new possibilities. He regards his human experiences as far more meaningful than his largely unknowing existence as the Sun, and the destruction or ideological enslavement of civilizations causes him genuine sorrow 676 719 722.

Abilities & Skills
Blazing Sun Karmic Fire
Su Wuwei’s awakened ability produces golden flames that he uses for attacks, defenses, and practical illumination 13 14 21 38.
- Direct attacks: Burns a pursuing level-two calamity to ashes with a descending flame and destroys another forest calamity with a fireball 13 14.
- Weapon enhancement: Wreathes his long blade in flames; before attacking two level-four calamities, he cuts his palm along the blade and turns the blood into fire 14.
- Flame shields: Condenses flowing fire into a shield. Ye Buyu’s healing bullet passes through it 14.
- Fire walls: Creates a wall of flames during the Points Competition, helping separate candidates from surrounding calamities 35.
- Counterattacks: Burns away Kou Ying’s attacking shadow beneath his feet and blocks Wan Lan’s arrow with a traced golden flame 42.
- Illumination: Holds a flame aloft to light the abandoned warship’s branching passages 21.
- Karmic Fire Burns the Heavens: Unleashes golden flames across the training field as an opening high-level technique against Lan Huaiyu 98.
- Containment: Surrounds Zhao Zhe with lines of fire and prevents him from freely leaving the enclosure 147.
- Power burning: His fire can burn power itself. He sends it along Ye Buyu's Soul Threads to ignite her spear and Lan Huaiyu's Flying Swallow; it also devours [Earthshaker]'s power, although his fourth-tier strength is insufficient to seriously threaten that opponent 148 170.
- Blood-fueled amplification: Blood from his wrist intensifies the flames during the confrontation with [Earthshaker] 170.
- Large-scale destruction: Produces pillars of fire to finish calamities cut apart by Mu Bingge and melts He Chuan's glacier during the tournament finals 282 303.
- Solar storm: Concentrates destructive energy into a storm delivered through a descending blade attack against the level-twelve [Fallen Pleasure] 557.
- Giant flaming saber: Forms a fire-wreathed blade hundreds of meters long during a later life-and-death battle 617.
- Solar weapon concentration: During the war of the gods, gathers the solar fire surrounding him onto his saber, transforming it into a weapon capable of burning its targets to ashes 737.
Swordsmanship
At peak second tier during the assessment, Su Wuwei can fight one level-four calamity if he commits his full strength, but considers two simultaneously beyond his capabilities 14.
- Kills the Thunder Monster and Wind Scythe with one all-out flaming slash after Ye Buyu’s bullets briefly weaken them 14 15.
- The finishing strike leaves him noticeably pale, demonstrating its exertion cost 15.
- Cleaves Mo Yue's enormous hammer apart with his flaming blade. She states that her attack is sufficient to handle some sixth-tier fighters and immediately surrenders 262.
- Combines precise finishing strikes with Mu Bingge's targeting, including a critical hit that shatters a calamity's core in the Amusement Park confrontation 418.
Agility and Evasion
Su Wuwei moves readily through treetops and repeatedly evades Wan Lan’s arrows during their match 13 18 42.
- Handles simultaneous attacks from Wan Lan and Kou Ying before Wan Lan closes in with a kick 42.
- Wan Lan’s kick numbs his arms, and her final powered arrow blasts him into the protective barrier 42.
- Shi Can judges that he might have finished the competition unscathed had Wan Lan not singled him out 43.
- Later moves like a streak of light and crosses into position above [Fallen Pleasure] as an almost untraceable line 557 603.
Solar Nature and Concealed Power
Su Wuwei is the consciousness of the former Sun, rather than an ordinary young human. His full nature is sufficiently dangerous that the River of Forgetfulness isolates him from its reform simulation and negotiates restrictions on his interference 116 315 316.
- Flame affinity: Walks unharmed through a sea of golden flames, which clears a path for him. When confronting his past self, he explains that his own solar flames cannot hurt him 116 377.
- Spatial cutting: Draws a blade from nothingness and cuts open the River of Forgetfulness's isolated space 116.
- Overwhelming presence: Can replace his easygoing demeanor with oppressive pressure that silences Wang Jianshe or alarms assembled calamities 201 751.
- Solar radiance: Emits light likened to an exploding star, driving away darkness across the surrounding region of space 522.
- Calamity Power collection: Creates a grid-shaped formation around the past Sun that draws surrounding Calamity Power into its core, preparing the conditions for its later transition toward [Sun's Sorrow] 583.
- Self-detonation: Threatens to detonate himself against the [Seedling Eater], while acknowledging that he would probably die and cannot guarantee the enemy's destruction 316 317.
His concealed identity does not mean his stated cultivation level is fictitious. At fourth tier, he explicitly distinguishes his genuine present strength from his extraordinary origins 191.
Civilization Origin
Su Wuwei initially describes his newly comprehended power through impressions of stars, candlelight, and something alternately vast and concrete. Although his teammates consider light as a possible explanation, the power is not simply illumination 604.
Under [Withering]'s attack, he identifies the underlying Origin as Civilization. It encompasses his attachment to the development of entire societies and his desire for lost worlds to bloom again. He describes himself as a guardian of the Present World's civilization, distinguishing his perspective from the history recorded by [History-Eater] 676.
- Civilization's fire: Connects the first sunlight and first kindled flame to the beginnings of civilization, expressing his power through fireballs performing an ancient dance 676.
- Rekindling lost worlds: Explains Old Affairs in the Embers as bestowing civilization's fire upon worlds reduced to ashes, reigniting the wills they left behind 676.
- Civilizational manifestations in battle: Layers of scenes associated with inherited civilization emerge around his golden-flame saber while he fights alongside Wan Lan 723.
- Origin connection: Senses Wujia and the others during the war of the gods and instructs the team to connect their Origins to the Three Divine Realms 739.
Spirit-Awakening Technique
The Spirit-Awakening Technique awakens wills imprinted on objects by the people who made or used them. It does not create life, despite the resulting objects' apparent animation and soul fluctuations 604.
- Animates a screw whose makers wanted it to be sturdier, causing it to hop about and repeat, “A little sturdier.” The effect ends when its flame-like eyes go out 604.
- Uses the technique to make Ye Buyu's Terminal shout during training, demonstrating its disruptive applications 607.
- Awakens an opponent's stolen weapon, which refuses to acknowledge its wielder and kills them instead. Su Wuwei himself is surprised by this application 610.
- Scatters sparks through a waiting area to manifest thoughts attached to objects as voices, stirring emotional and human responses among the Scavengers 611 612.
Old Affairs in the Embers
Old Affairs in the Embers uses deeper red flames to reproduce impressions of people or events attached to an object. Its first demonstrated use reveals a fleeting image of a worker who handled the same screw used in the Spirit-Awakening demonstration 604.
- Not time manipulation: Mu Bingge identifies the images as remnants of the past rather than an application of temporal power 604.
- Initial limitations: Su Wuwei describes the technique as unstable and difficult to regulate; the first successful demonstration leaves him paler 604.
- Investigative use: Later applies flames to an ancient map, bringing out a world's surveys and astronomical records and helping uncover the truth of its native civilization 718 719.
Knowledge and Technical Experience
Su Wuwei possesses extensive knowledge of calamities, the Present World's institutions, and the fate of lost civilizations 73 192 283.
- Explains routes involving vassalage to a Major Calamity or transformation into a Man-Made Calamity during the Cloud Haze investigation 73.
- Provides indispensable assistance with the Construction Engineering Institute's early difficulties, the handling of Calamity Power, and the Artificial Sun's operation 192.
- Recognizes the Divine Artifact sealed inside the Dead Star by drawing on his experience as the Sun 459.
- Helps identify Calamity Power as a shared resource that might be accessed without relying on calamities, citing the accumulated power of the moon and Lou Guanshan's blade 671.
- Participates in the team's analysis of Godheads, Divine Realms, and the causal implications of their time travel 747.
Limitations and Risks
- Calamity transformation: Activating his Origin during the Forbidden Zone crisis pushes him into becoming a true Calamity, overriding his usual restraint with an obsession to burn away threats to what he cherishes 327 328.
- Vulnerability to healing in Calamity form: Ye Buyu's broad healing aura weakens him after his transformation, functioning like poison despite its restorative nature for others 336.
- Power disparities: His solar nature does not prevent [Eternal Frozen Silence] from cleaving apart his manifested sun and injuring him 332.
- Mental attacks: [Fallen Pleasure]'s laughter ruptures his eardrums and continues assaulting his mind even after the physical damage 557.
- Origin-related danger: He allows [Withering] to weaken and visibly age him while searching for his underlying attachment, approaching a condition that [Withering] warns could kill him 676.
- Godhead incompatibility: He warns that bringing the Six's Godheads directly into the Present World risks transforming it into six Divine Realms 747.
Equipment
- Long blade — His principal melee weapon, used with golden flames and an all-out finishing slash 14 15.
- Wrist terminal — Used to recruit nearby examinees through the assessment’s public chat and receive evacuation instructions 16 20.
- Butterfly Eggs — Gifts that hatch into moths which attach to their holders' backs and permit short-distance flight. Originally distributed partly for amusement, they become emergency escape equipment during the confrontation with three Lords 85.
- Potions — Carries a substantial supply, offering Ye Buyu a heap of them after pressing her about Thousand Tides Tracing the Moon 176.
- Ancient map — Uses it as a medium for recovering a world's astronomical and geographical records during his work as Commissioner Su 718 719.
Background / History
Gaokao Field Assessment
Su Wuwei first meets Ye Buyu after burning the mutated rabbit chasing her. Her description of a nearby “mountain,” which he perceives as a sleeping magical-beast-type calamity, raises his suspicions. When she identifies another calamity’s original form before its remains appear, he draws his blade against her 13 14.
Ye Buyu shoots him with a healing bullet, restoring his energy but leaving him kneeling under her ability’s mandatory-payment effect. He gives her an unwanted material to regain movement. When the Thunder Monster and Wind Scythe pursue them, her bullets force the calamities to discard pieces of themselves, giving him the opening to kill both 14 15.
He subsequently proposes teaming up and admits that following Ye Buyu should bring him to Mu Bingge, whom he wants to challenge. After Ye Buyu resists his plan to enter the dangerous forest, he agrees to provide a written safety promise and recruits other examinees through public chat. Ye Buyu leaves, and they head in opposite directions 15 16.
Wind-Thunder Cantor Incident
When Ye Buyu is hurled from the forest, Su Wuwei immediately moves to save her, though Mu Bingge catches her first. During the retreat, he accepts Mu Bingge’s instruction to take Ye Buyu to safety while she delays the Wind-Thunder Cantor 18 20.
Inside the buried warship, he lights the passages and stays with several examinees to meet Mu Bingge and other late arrivals. He later joins the defensive line and continues helping defend the ship while its teleportation passage evacuates the candidates 21 23 24.
After the warship and passage are destroyed, he remains among the exhausted students trapped with Yan You and the Wind-Thunder Cantor. Little Whale’s intervention through Ye Buyu’s body turns the battle, and Lan Huaiyu arrives to protect the survivors from the Cantor’s self-detonation 26 27.
Aftermath and Points Competition
Su Wuwei presses Chen Ze for compensation, criticizing the Social Security Bureau for using the examinees as bait. With support from the teachers, he secures Chen Ze’s promise to request that their unused Emergency Transfer Devices be converted into lifesaving devices 30.
The university principals identify competing options for his training: Ding Ruixue recommends Beichen University’s combat techniques, while Lei Yue argues that Shanhai University is better suited to his elemental ability. No enrollment decision is shown during this discussion 31 38.
During the Points Competition, he uses fire walls and urges candidates to create space amid the calamity swarm. In the later free-for-all, Wan Lan targets him, and his attempt to use Kou Ying as a shield prompts Kou Ying to attack him as well. Wan Lan ultimately eliminates him, leaving Mu Bingge, Lou Guanshan, and herself as the final three contestants 35 42 43.
Hold Up the Heavens and Early Missions
Su Wuwei becomes a member of Hold Up the Heavens alongside Ye Buyu, Mu Bingge, Wan Lan, Lou Guanshan, and Kou Ying. During the investigation of Cloud Haze, he questions the captured Feng Jianyu and contributes knowledge about Man-Made Calamities 66 70 73.
During the confrontation with three Lords, his Butterfly Eggs provide the group and Horizon Team with a means of escaping by flight. He admits that the gifts were originally intended to let him enjoy the spectacle of his companions using them 85.
By the team's training against Lan Huaiyu, he has reached fourth tier. Although he initially argues that the difference in strength makes his participation futile, Ye Buyu persuades him to join their attempt to land a successful attack 96 98 99.
River of Forgetfulness Reform
The River of Forgetfulness isolates Su Wuwei rather than allowing him to participate normally in its reform simulation. Recognizing him as the ancient, unformed [Sun's Sorrow], it treats his presence as an exceptional risk. Su Wuwei insists that he merely wants to see what the reform will produce and would rather be with his teammates 116.
He agrees to master Soul Creation and not use his true power to interfere with the River. After cutting open space, he leaves with a final demand that he be called Su Wuwei rather than [Sun's Sorrow] 116.
When Mu Bingge later asks about the faint Calamity Aura surrounding him, he declines to explain, admitting that he fears being excluded from the team. Lou Guanshan reassures him that unusual powers are hardly rare among their companions 119.
Soul-Power Training and Growing Involvement
After the soul-power gift from [Those Without a Home], Su Wuwei pretends to sleep while his teammates recover. When Ye Buyu tests Other Shore, he attempts to substitute the seemingly unconscious Lou Guanshan as her target. Lou Guanshan wakes, catches him, and later shoulder-throws him while the others contribute their own retaliation 140 141.
In the students' renewed battle against their teachers, he contains Zhao Zhe with Blazing Sun Karmic Fire and channels flames through Ye Buyu's Soul Threads to attack Lan Huaiyu's Flying Swallow. Zhao Zhe recognizes his growing willingness to act for the team rather than remain a detached spectator 147 148.
During the confrontation with [Earthshaker], he fuels his flames with blood to burn its power and slow its advance. His fourth-tier strength still leaves him unable to pose a decisive threat 170.
Construction Engineering Institute and the Frontline
Su Wuwei's interactions with Yang You and Wang Jianshe reveal that he is an old acquaintance of senior institutional figures and is considered half a founder of the Construction Engineering Institute. He rejects the full title because the Institute predates Doomsday and he does not know its ultimate origins 191 192.
Wang Jianshe remembers him as an indispensable guide during the Institute's early struggles, particularly in handling Calamity Power and operating the Artificial Sun. Su Wuwei nevertheless chooses to remain with Hold Up the Heavens, explaining that he believes the team can uncover the world's truth and the secrets behind calamities 192.
When officials separate him from the frontline events, he becomes unusually angry over their possible intentions toward Ye Buyu. He accuses Wang Jianshe of planning to probe and exploit her, and resents being prevented from going himself. Later, he watches frontline events through a Terminal carried by Lou Guanshan 201 202 203 216.
Tournament and Land of Exile
In the later tournament, Su Wuwei defeats Mo Yue by splitting her giant hammer with a single flaming slash. Afterward, the team judges Wan Lan the winner of their speed contest, leaving Kou Ying to pay for their meal 262.
During the Land of Exile elimination round, he reunites with Mu Bingge and helps destroy gathered calamities. He explains that the region's people concealed pollution and attempted to control a Calamity Master, bringing catastrophe upon themselves rather than simply being abandoned by the Present World 277 282 283.
In the finals' battle royale, Hold Up the Heavens becomes the principal target of the other contestants. Su Wuwei melts He Chuan's glacier with his flaming saber as the team repels the opening assault 303.
Before their later separation, Yu Qin warns him that continuing to hide and hold back could eventually cost him something precious 307.
Revelation as the Sun and Calamity Transformation
When Ye Buyu prepares to face the [Seedling Eater] alone, Su Wuwei reveals that he is the Sun that exploded and has existed for more than five hundred years. He and the others demand to know why she intends to abandon her teammates 315 316.
Unable to persuade her through ordinary argument, he threatens to detonate himself against the enemy if she fails. He makes clear that he would take the same stance for any teammate he has acknowledged, not only Ye Buyu 317.
During the ensuing crisis, he activates his Origin despite Yang You's attempt to stop him. His desire to protect what he cherishes becomes an obsession with burning away calamities, and he steps onto the path of a true Calamity 327 328.
He seeks to eliminate [Eternal Frozen Silence], believing his solar nature counters its ice, but Little Whale orders the group to retreat. In the later fighting, the enemy cleaves apart his manifested sun, injuring him and forcing his teammates to withdraw him from the battlefield 329 332.
Ye Buyu's healing rain subsequently weakens his Calamity form. Believing that he and the transformed Kou Ying can no longer return to the Present World, he considers leaving with Kou Ying, but the others refuse to let them slip away 336 342.
Ye Buyu restores him by touching his forehead. He briefly perceives a vast character-like Mark in another space before his golden hair and crimson eyes return to their human appearance. Later, he again describes himself as the unformed [Sun's Sorrow], with sixth-tier combat strength in normal form 344 374.
Solar Origins and the Closed Time Loop
Traveling into the past with his teammates, Su Wuwei witnesses the destruction of the Sun and the blue planet. He sees an enormous shadow resembling a finger behind the Sun, while acknowledging that his original memories of the event are indistinct 375 376.
After Note uses the Fate Godhead fragment to restore the Present World, Su Wuwei recognizes the enraged solar soul about to become [Sun's Sorrow] as his own past self. Allowing that calamity to form would bring another catastrophe upon the newly restored world 377.
He enters the flames, suppresses the nascent soul's power, gives it the name Su Wuwei, and sends it into the Present World. This resolves his longstanding belief that a person who gave him that name had died in his fire: the apparent victim was his own future self 377.
The name consequently forms a closed causal loop with no traceable original source. Its sense of “no future” reflects his former belief that he had robbed someone of a future and that the vanished Sun left none for him. He later explains the paradox openly to Horizon Team 377 395.
The restored world initially lacks the Doomsday Tower, River of Forgetfulness, and Sun Project. Hold Up the Heavens subsequently carries engineers' analyses and results into the past to reestablish the major projects, rather than independently inventing them 377 395.
Further Advancement and Journeys Beyond the Present World
During intensive training involving repeated combat and material absorption, Su Wuwei becomes the first of the Six to attain seventh tier 387.
At the Amusement Park, he and his teammates break free from the performers' ambush. He helps Kou Ying eliminate the long-armed man who refuses Ye Buyu's demands, then shatters another calamity's core after Mu Bingge singles it out 418.
The Six later discover the number 153469, a key, and six rainbow-colored flowers in a shifting space. Absorbing the flowers' energy, Su Wuwei and Lou Guanshan break through to eighth tier together 453 454.
In the Dead Star cavern, Su Wuwei touches a pillar that captures him and then the others. His Sunfire helps the enclosing walls catch a falling slab, and the structure becomes a Mysterious Casket that transports the group physically into the past 467 468.
The group later disguises itself as frail survivors to investigate Rift without attracting powerful calamities. Su Wuwei also accompanies the pursuit of the gray mist's source while Ye Buyu remains behind to save the Whale of Wailing 501 541.
On a planet consumed by reckless pleasure-seeking, he and Lou Guanshan investigate the purple vortex drawing in the dead. Su Wuwei confronts the level-twelve [Fallen Pleasure] directly, deploying Solar storm while Lou Guanshan handles the walled city and possible attacks from its inhabitants 555 557.
During another intervention in the past, he installs a formation around the Sun to draw in and store Calamity Power. This prepares the conditions for its future transformation and becomes another part of the causal chain the team already knows 583.
Awakening Civilization
As the team explores its newly comprehended powers, Su Wuwei demonstrates the Spirit-Awakening Technique and Old Affairs in the Embers. Their effects suggest a concept broader than light, but he initially cannot identify it 604.
He later applies Spirit-Awakening in both combat and social intervention: a stolen weapon turns against its wielder, while voices awakened from objects stir human emotions among the Scavengers 610 611 612.
Seeking clarity about his Origin, he permits [Withering] to weaken him while he considers what remains meaningful after setting aside his identity as the Sun. Wan Lan's reminder of his obsession with the human world's possibilities helps him recognize Civilization as the common foundation of his powers 675 676.
After recovering, he remains aware that the group's proposed new rules will not be willingly accepted by every calamity. He advocates a combination of persuasion and force, while refusing to let [Withering] and [Thought-Madness] enter the River of Forgetfulness without dying. He instead helps arrange paid work and agrees to take them wine shopping 676 677.
Commissioner Su and the War of the Gods
Working alongside Wan Lan, Su Wuwei uses an old map to recover records of a world's native civilization. Their investigation exposes ideological enslavement that has stripped its people of confidence and encouraged them to accept degradation 718 719.
As Commissioner Su, he helps the remaining tribespeople recover their connection to their ancestors and urges them to grow strong enough to walk their own road. He and Wan Lan leave to confront the greater enemy rather than make the tribe permanently dependent on them 720 721.
Their later reunion with Wujia and the tribe reveals the lasting affection and trust their work has earned. Su Wuwei clears up a confrontation between the soldiers and his teammates, assuring the tribe that all six can be trusted 728.
During the war of the gods, he concentrates solar fire onto his saber. With further support, those flames carry the inherited warmth of civilization, and he senses Wujia and the others while urging the team to connect its Origins to the Three Divine Realms 737 739.
Godheads, Return, and Continuing Work
The Six's battered consciousnesses later deliberate inside a sealed space. Su Wuwei warns that returning their Godheads directly to the Present World could split it into six Divine Realms. The group considers whether it created the Black Box and Divine-Character Fragments itself, and whether completing a causal loop across time is necessary to separate the Godheads from their identities 747.
After the team's return, Su Wuwei alarms the assembled observers by pretending to be a threatening version of himself from another point in time. Kou Ying exposes the joke, and Wang Jianshe punches him in the forehead for choosing such an inappropriate moment for amusement 751.
When the group next divides its work, he and Wan Lan take responsibility for special tutoring of the calamities, including Wind-Thunder, while Ye Buyu and Kou Ying prepare to investigate the Universe Consciousness 755.
He later readies his blade as Hold Up the Heavens begins an operation described by its observers as performing surgery on the world, assuring the Chief that the trouble will soon be over 768.
