The Blueprint Drafters discussed their factions and the dangers of opening a passage with Ye Buyu and the others, while Banyi sought to learn about their homeland. After the meeting, Yan Yan revealed that he represented the remnant Dustgrass Civilization and asked them to hear his request.
Yan Yan asked Hold Up the Heavens to help him meet the King of Withering and Flourishing, and Ye Buyu agreed to contact him after the [Life] miracle exploration. After learning that the Primordial Beginning Tower’s foundations contained a Throne of God, Ye Buyu and her teammates went to see it, but touching its barrier sucked all six of them inside.
The six were pulled into a shifting space, where they found a mysterious number, a key, and six rainbow-colored flowers. As the flowers flooded them with energy, they began absorbing it and advancing toward the eighth tier.
Ye Buyu broke through the seventh tier inside the Throne of God, causing the Primordial Beginning Tower to shake and eject her team. The Six landed on the administrators’ restricted rooftop, where they admitted their breakthrough had caused the disturbance.
After the Six emerged from the Throne of God and caused the Primordial Beginning Tower’s first-ever tremor, Ye Buyu persuaded the Administrators to conceal what happened and impose Speech Censorship. The Administrators accepted the plan and recognized that they needed to keep the Six from the End of the World on their side to learn how they entered.
After learning that Hold Up the Heavens had reached the eighth tier, Ye Buyu feared that her next advancement would bring another dangerous upheaval. As the departure for the [Life] region moved up and a cryptic bookmark hinted that the Salvation Hall of Fame’s First Two Seats knew the deities, she began to suspect the region was tied to the mysteries surrounding the Primordial Beginning Tower.
Ye Buyu and her companions reached the [Life] miracle region, where a shifting maze of numbered doors guarded a shattered planet. Kou Ying noticed the doors’ numbers, and the Six Hold Up the Heavens Members seemed to recognize the answer to the mystery.
Ye Buyu and the others slipped through the doors by disguising their entry as accidental knockback, then followed the code through the maze to the Dead Star’s core. There they discovered a blade driven into the planet.
Lou Guanshan used the key on the ground, summoning a giant key that restored the shattered Dead Star and revealed the six companions atop it. The arriving factions recognized the spectacle, and Yan Yan confirmed to himself that the silhouettes were the six who had entered ahead of them.
Ye Buyu and the others entered the Dead Star to investigate its core, while Suiyang and other faction leaders gathered outside and argued over their aims and strength. The chapter ended with Zhan Tu challenging Suiyang by invoking his past fight with Cangyuan.
Yan Yan endured a Calamity’s abuse before killing him with poison, then admitted he was afraid but had to survive and remember his civilization. Mu Bingge watched from hiding as Yan Yan walked away.
Banyi traded information about the Primordial Beginning Tower for a chance to join the Lost Legion, while Wan Lan learned from Xiang Mingyang how other Civilizations endured Calamity Power. Wan Lan realized that the Present World’s common abilities were unusual compared with the rest of the universe.
Ye Buyu rejected Li Yong’s offer to join the Rift and become a Calamity, despite his overwhelming strength. After Li Yong severely wounded her, Ye Buyu’s strike knocked off his hat and unleashed painful memories in his mind, but he threw her through several trees, leaving her barely alive.
Ye Buyu survived her Soul Self-Destruction as a disembodied soul and discovered that she could torment Li Yong, who had survived the blast but was badly wounded. Outside Dead Star, Suiyang confirmed Ye Buyu was alive, while Ye Buyu set out to find her teammates.
Ye Buyu tried to warn Hang Jiuwang away from fighting Li Yong, a fourteenth-tier enemy, but Hang chose to face him to gather information and avoid leaving the danger to others. Their battle began with Hang badly outmatched, and he stood firm despite Ye Buyu’s warning.
Ye Buyu reunited with her allies after surviving Li Yong’s attack in soul form, while Hang Jiuwang fought the fourteenth-tier Rift leader. Xiang Mingyang rescued Hang Jiuwang as their companions covered the retreat, leaving Li Yong wounded and the group fleeing to safety.
Ye Buyu and her companions climbed the ancient stairs in search of the blade, but the stone hilt proved to be a decoy and a pillar trapped them inside a mysterious casket. After the casket spun and vanished, they emerged before a figure in a star-studded robe, and Ye Buyu realized they had returned to the past again.
The six traveled into the past and found [Earthshaker] fighting a fleet, where Ye Buyu’s spear struck the calamity and repeated an event from its memories. They protected a planet caught in the battle, and its people saw Kou Ying’s black lotus consume falling meteors.
Mu Bingge helped preserve a planet by sending it away from the battlefield, while Ye Buyu and the others considered searching for the roots of Calamity Power. After [Earthshaker] was destroyed, Dr. Oligar confronted the commanders over the conspiracy that had doomed Panshi Star, and a young commander from Cangyuan Star declared her innocent.
Oligar was sentenced to death by the rulers, and she took poison after warning them that their fear and ambition would bring humanity to ruin. The Six arrived too late to save her, while her guards begged the Cangyuan general for protection from an expected purge.
The Six discovered that Water Mirror Star had vanished and realized the allied forces might also be under attack by Calamity Power. They reached a massacre too late to save the jailer’s family, and Ye Buyu kicked a fleeing person to death as the survivors begged the Six for help.
Ye Buyu and the Six left the Warden to take revenge on the people who had created him, while a mutation outbreak ravaged the warship. Ye Buyu discovered that her bullets could stop the mutation, leaving the Broken-Brow General and his soldiers stunned by the Six’s arrival.
The Six used Ye Buyu’s Light Wheel to stop the Calamity outbreak among Cangyuan Star’s soldiers, then explained the danger of Calamity Power to General Zhu Yin. Zhu Yin invited them to Cangyuan Star to help prepare for the wider crisis, and the Six considered accepting.
The six decided to pretend to be gods and choose proxies to help civilizations awaken and resist Calamity, though Zhu Yin and his soldiers mistook them for real gods. The six vanished after giving Zhu Yin materials to study, leaving him with the means to begin passing on the Path of Awakening.
The Six discovered that the universe’s unstable energy and human destruction were driving calamities, and a dying planetary consciousness entrusted its remains to them as a blade. After witnessing the blade’s origin, they returned to the stone platform and tried to figure out what their next step was and how to get home.
