As the factions prepared to drive out the calamities, the Dark Abyss Calamity Dynasty decided to approach Hold Up the Heavens for information about the Rift.

• Ye Buyu and the Rift’s Flagship attacked the calamities while Wu Dan told the Primordial Beginning Tower to intercept them and protect the Flagship’s crew.
• Su Wuwei fought off a concealed calamity, and Ye Buyu fired the Flagship’s Impact Cannon at the advancing enemies.
• Weier publicly thanked Hold Up the Heavens for helping the Rift, exposing the group and drawing curses from the surrounding factions.
• Ye Buyu dropped her disguise and attacked the calamities with a Gatling Gun while Slyder urged the Primordial Beginning Tower to prepare to move.

The Second Seat of the Salvation Hall of Fame, Water Mirror Heart Tide, asked [Fear] to stop [War] in the Lost Legion and warned the Two Calamities not to provoke Hold Up the Heavens. Elsewhere, a girl entered Black Plague Headquarters to watch Ji Wangsheng and the figure in the coffin.

• Water Mirror Heart Tide appeared before [Darkness] and Qian Tu, who identified her as the Salvation Hall of Fame's Second Seat.
• [Fear] arrived and learned that [War] had appeared in the Lost Legion; she agreed to stop him in exchange for fulfilling Heart Tide's promise.
• Heart Tide warned [Fear] not to provoke Hold Up the Heavens, and [Fear] told Qian Tu and [Darkness] to guard the Dark Abyss Calamity Dynasty.
• [Fear] asked Qian Tu and [Darkness] who Hold Up the Heavens were, then left after warning that the world was nearing a crisis.
• A green-braided girl entered Black Plague Headquarters and told Ji Wangsheng she intended to watch her and the figure in the coffin.

Ying Ruxing warned [Plague] that [War] had appeared and that Hold Up the Heavens was under the Salvation Hall of Fame’s protection. Little Whale rushed to Ye Buyu during the battle, urged an immediate retreat, and the fleet withdrew into the Primordial Beginning Tower as [War] threatened to emerge.

• [Plague] climbed from his coffin and greeted Ying Ruxing, who had come to watch him and investigate the appearance of [War].
• Ying Ruxing told [Plague] not to target Hold Up the Heavens, while he admitted he had not found the divine statuses of [Life] and [Death].
• Little Whale crashed into Ye Buyu and Kou Ying, then warned them that [War] had appeared and told them to retreat to the Primordial Beginning Tower.
• Ye Buyu alerted Wu Dan and hurried back to the Flagship with Little Whale and Kou Ying.

Ye Buyu and the others questioned Little Whale about [War], then used its screen to watch Ku Rong report on a battle between fourteenth-tier Calamities. As the Primordial Beginning Tower evacuated the area, a vast light screen appeared and an overwhelming roar froze the Calamities who had stayed behind.

• Little Whale explained that [War] had repeatedly survived their attacks and was drawn back into conflict after a long period of relative peace.
• Ye Buyu denied that the Six had caused the crisis, while Su Wuwei and the others recognized how their past actions had led to it.
• Little Whale brought out Ku Rong's curated war broadcast and warned the Six not to underestimate fourteenth-tier Calamities.
• The Six put on special glasses and watched the battle as Little Whale reminded them that they were only eighth tier.
• The Primordial Beginning Tower drove away the Calamities, and the older ones urged the others to leave before the coming crisis.
• A vast light screen appeared behind the Calamities who remained, and its roar and pressure froze them in place.

[War] descended into the ruined Star Domain and battled Weier, growing stronger as conflict and slaughter spread. Just as he prepared to kill her and the Rift, a newcomer wielding an overwhelming aura of fear arrived and stopped his blade.

• [War] told Weier that she had drawn him to the Star Domain, and Weier crushed Zhan Tu's skull before challenging him to a fight to the death.
• The Lost Legion's Calamities celebrated [War]'s arrival and proclaimed that war would let them rise again, but [War] killed them with a single slash.
• [War] demanded to know what Weier was, then fought her and grew stronger amid the devastation and violence.
• [War] decided to finish off Weier and the Rift, but a newcomer arrived and caught his blade with one hand.
• The newcomer's aura of fear clashed with [War]'s influence, calming the surviving Calamities and driving some of them to flee.

[War] and [Fear] unleashed a Fourteenth Tier battle that shattered the Star Domain and forced the Rift's Calamities to flee. Ye Buyu and her companions vanished from their seats and were transported in the box to an unknown destination, where Ye Buyu worried about what awaited them.

• [War] and [Fear] escalated their fight with their Origin weapons, and their attacks tore the Star Domain apart.
• The battle's aftershocks drove Calamities to evacuate, while some lost their reason and attacked those around them.
• Little Whale warned Ye Buyu that the neighboring Star Domains were doomed and that fighting the two Calamities would mean certain death.
• Little Whale discovered that Ye Buyu and the others had disappeared, and the six found themselves inside a vehicle after the box transported them without warning.
• Ye Buyu lamented that she had missed the rest of the battle and worried about what she and her teammates would face next.

Ye Buyu and the others returned to Cangyuan nearly a thousand years later and found the planet destroyed. With Mu Bingge’s Water Mirror, they witnessed the past and learned how internal exploitation, Calamity Breeders, and attacks on the Central Hub had weakened Cangyuan before its final fall.

• Su Wuwei and Ye Buyu persuaded the group to establish the Salvation Hall of Fame, and the six returned to find Cangyuan shattered.
• Cangyuan sensed Water Mirror’s presence and told Mu Bingge that Cangyuan’s destruction had been fate, while affirming that he had become Cangyuan.

Ye Buyu discovered that an army of Calamities had attacked Cangyuan through the Gray Mist, and Cangyuan learned that a planet he had once supported may have helped destroy his home. Overcome by rage, he began his revenge by attacking that planet and killing those he identified as conspirators.

• Ye Buyu rewound the scene and saw Calamities in ships attacking Cangyuan through the Gray Mist.
• Cangyuan told Ye Buyu that Cangyuan had hunted Calamities to prevent their spread, and Ye Buyu concluded that many Calamities had joined forces against it.
• Ye Buyu gave Cangyuan images of the attackers, and he erupted in rage after recognizing people connected to Cangyuan's destruction.
• Cangyuan crossed a Star Domain, broke through a planet's defenses, and destroyed its Central System building and the people who emerged.
• Cangyuan accused the planet's leaders of letting Calamities help destroy Cangyuan, then fought through their warships as a young commander insisted the planet was innocent.

Cangyuan and his allies destroyed the Calamities who were sacrificing Cangyuan Star, while the young general resolved to expose the civilization’s betrayal. Cangyuan set out to pursue those responsible, and Ye Buyu and the others joined him to investigate the Gray Mist and seek revenge.

• Cangyuan attacked his former student and confronted the Calamities as sacrificial rites devastated cities across the planet.
• Wan Lan urged the stunned soldiers to fight, while Ye Buyu marked the Calamities and weakened their power across the planet.
• Wan Lan, Kou Ying, and Su Wuwei helped destroy the Calamities, and Su Wuwei raised the Shadow Tree Spark to burn them.
• Lou Guanshan warned the young general to face the truth, and the general ordered his soldiers to find evidence of the betrayal of Cangyuan.

Cangyuan hunted those responsible for Cangyuan’s destruction and confronted the elves, whose empress admitted that they had helped destroy his world so they could become Calamities. Wan Lan killed the empress, and a descending Mo Dao began splitting apart the elves’ planet.

• Cangyuan killed those who had taken part in Cangyuan’s destruction, while Ye Buyu and the others witnessed the beginnings of the Great Cataclysm.
• Cangyuan reached the elves’ primary planet and accused the empress of sending the Third and Fourth Legions against Cangyuan.

Lou Guanshan and Cangyuan’s forces destroyed the elven main planet after discovering that its Calamities had enslaved and sacrificed the satellite planets’ population for power. Ye Buyu rescued an infant during the battle and learned from Water Mirror that elves remained infants until age twenty.

• Lou Guanshan watched the main planet explode and condemned the Calamities after discovering the massacre and enslavement of the satellite planets’ elves.
• Cangyuan’s forces continued their assault while the surviving elves on the satellite planets mechanically carried on with their lives.
• A Calamity tried to kill a crying infant, but the infant’s protector shielded her, flowers bloomed, and Ye Buyu arrived as rain killed the attacker.
• Ye Buyu took the infant and told the elf that the empress and main planet were gone and the survivors were free.

Ye Buyu explained Hold Up the Heavens’ future origins and her plan to gather exceptionally gifted Awakened, while the group witnessed the destruction of Cangyuan’s homeworld and helped kindle hope among its survivors. They followed Cangyuan to a technologically advanced planet, where he went to seek answers and the others paused to enjoy its peaceful everyday life.

• Ye Buyu told Water Mirror that Hold Up the Heavens came from the future and aimed to gather powerful, exceptionally gifted people to face the calamities.
• Kou Ying named the rescued elf Ying Ruxing, wishing she would shine like the eternal stars.

After Water Mirror and Cangyuan joined, Ye Buyu discovered a mysterious red thread that could guide her to recruits, then led the group to confront a mutiny on the Withered Star's Third Affiliated Star.

• Ye Buyu interrogated and killed the level-nine Calamity, learning that a Mysterious Being had guided the destruction of Cangyuan and that gray mist had granted the Calamities power.
• Ye Buyu followed a Red Thread to a field of Planet Remains, where she recognized the dying Whale of Wailing bound by meteorite chains and told the others to pursue a nearby movement while she saved it.
• Su Wuwei’s group found the next Star Domain sealed, and Lou Guanshan cut through the barrier with his blade.

Su Wuwei, Wan Lan, Mu Bingge, Kou Ying, and Lou Guanshan battered the Gray Mist beast without giving it a chance to unleash its Law-Dissolution Tree. After the roots disrupted Kou Ying’s energy and a survivor explained their danger, Wan Lan and Su Wuwei began attacking the tree from a distance.

• Su Wuwei dropped a star on the Gray Mist beast, but it summoned the Law-Dissolution Tree to block the attack and tried to escape.
• Wan Lan detected the beast, struck it with an arrow and a kick, and Su Wuwei, Mu Bingge, Kou Ying, and Lou Guanshan repeatedly knocked it around to stop it gathering power.

• The behemoth fled into the Gray Mist, so Mu Bingge spread Water Mirrors across the Star Domain to block its escape while Su Wuwei sealed the area with flames.
• Ye Buyu used her power to revive the dying World-Remnant Aggregate and struck it with a whale-shaped Soul Shock to keep it awake.
• Ye Buyu crossed the Star Domain Barrier into the Water Mirror blockade and found the behemoth.
• Ye Buyu pierced the behemoth with her Double-Edged Spear, exposing the Gray Mist and suppressing its power.

Ye Buyu forced the Calamity [Chaos] to reveal that [Fate] had directed the destruction of Cangyuan and planned to target Withered Star. Ye Buyu and her allies fought to kill [Chaos], with Wan Lan piercing its skull as the battle continued.

• Ye Buyu restrained [Chaos] and compelled it to reveal its name and explain that the Gray Mist was the Whispers of Fate, used by [Fate].
• [Chaos] confessed that [Fate] had marked the neighboring Star Domain for destruction and that Withered Star was its next target because a threat had emerged there.
• Rong Fan recognized that [Chaos] meant to attack Withered Star, while [Chaos] identified him as a threat and the group prepared to kill it.
• Ye Buyu, Su Wuwei, Wan Lan, and the others attacked [Chaos], and Wan Lan condemned its destruction of civilizations and vowed to start by killing it.
• Kou Ying blocked [Chaos]'s attacks on the remains of the planet, while the beast failed to escape the silver weapon or summon the Whispers of Fate.
• Wan Lan pierced [Chaos]'s skull as the wind tore through its brain, and [Chaos] cried that it did not want to die.

[Chaos] abandoned its body and tried to possess Wan Lan, but she trapped it in her Mindscape with Ye Buyu and the others. After beating it into surrender, they learned its Divine Status had created it and that Whispers of Fate had guided it to become [Chaos].

• [Chaos] fled its body through its Divine Status and entered Wan Lan, but she confronted it in her Mindscape.
• Ye Buyu and the others joined Wan Lan and took turns beating [Chaos] until it surrendered and offered to give up its Divine Status.
• Wan Lan found that the Divine Status was too hard to crush and seemed unusually ownerless, so they questioned [Chaos] about it.
• [Chaos] explained that the Divine Status had brought it into being and that Whispers of Fate had guided it to form a body.
• [Chaos] said it had wanted to create a world without rules or order and destroy planets because it found doing so fun.

Ye Buyu and the others decided they could only seal [Chaos] for now and hurried to establish the Salvation Hall of Fame as Calamities threatened the world. They helped the survivors of a half-destroyed planet plan a migration to the Elf Star Domain and urged them to build their own force against Calamities.

• Ye Buyu learned that [Chaos] had destroyed civilizations for fun and chose to seal it away while Wan Lan tried to absorb a piece of divine status.
• After the group returned from the Mindscape, the giant beast outside turned to ash, and Ye Buyu insisted they establish the Salvation Hall of Fame without delay.
• A survivor questioned whether his people should become Calamities, and Su Wuwei warned him of their endless cycle of suffering and urged them to keep struggling as humans.

The chapter leaves Little Whale remembering the Star Domain’s flourishing days before the Calamity struck.

• Little Whale recounted how its civilization forged the Whale of Wailing from souls and planets to fight [Chaos], and how a blow from the Whale-Head Health-Preserving Mallet later shaped its form.
• Little Whale realized that its musings had been broadcast over the Multiplayer Channel, and Ku Rong pointed it toward Wu Yan for answers about time.
• Wu Yan said her lead had gone cold and suggested that the being who controlled time was someone other than the Hall Master; Ying Ruxing recognized who she meant.
• Dream of Notes, Suiyang, Ku Rong, and Little Wan joined the conversation, while Ku Rong urged them to focus on the battlefield and Little Whale continued wondering what Ye Buyu was.
• A child arrived with an enormous mouth and demanded to know where Little Ye and the others had been taken, and Little Whale reacted in shock upon seeing the soul beneath the creature’s appearance.

Little Whale encountered the children’s souls searching for Ye Buyu, while the Salvation Hall of Fame discussed letting [War] and other sealed Calamities loose to weaken the world’s Calamity factions. The battle between [Fear] and [War] continued as Wu Yan set out for Rift’s Original Base.

• Little Whale blocked the children’s souls, learned they were looking for Little Ye, and persuaded them to wait for Ye Buyu to return.
• Little Whale told Ku Rong that it would not fight its own people and suggested [War] should be weakened in the conflict.
• Water Mirror asked whether they should protect The One Leading Rift, but Little Whale said they should let her weaken [War].
• Ying Ruxing agreed that the sealed monsters should be let out to remind the Calamities and Civilizations of their danger.
• Wu Yan left for Rift’s Original Base to follow the trail, while Suiyang watched the battle and devoured its spilling energy.
• [Fear] removed the ribbon over her eyes and fought [War], whose attacks were weakened and whose opponents had fled.

Weier abandoned her plan to leave and joined [Fear] in fighting [War], revealing herself as the [Silence] of living beings. The Star Domain collapsed around them as the battle resumed, while spectators watched from the Primordial Beginning Tower and Lan Huaiyu reported that Hold Up the Heavens had lost contact.

• Weier chose to fight [War] instead of leaving, unleashing a barrage of punches that forced it backward.
• [Fear] used Eye of Fear to distract [War], allowing Weier to land a blow that sent it through the Star Domain's barrier and caused the domain to collapse.
