• Qin Luo gathered his squad aboard the combat vehicle and explained that zombies had sheltered beneath ruins during the torrential rain.
• Bai Shu described how zombies were advancing faster than humans and how the Six-Star medicine had caused the squad severe physical and mental side effects.
• Qin Luo and the other combat teams reported their arrival at the mission site, and Qin Luo ordered the encirclement to begin.
• Xu Duoduo, Chen Xiaofei, Bai Shu, Wang Weihu, and Qin Luo attacked the zombie hordes with their weapons and abilities.
• Cheetah Squad and the White Dove Squad praised 3A as the squad cleared the zombies.

3A cleared the zombies while Chen Xiaofei’s complaint brought out a two-headed six-star Giant Zombie. Wang Weihu, Bai Shu, and Chen Xiaofei prepared to fight it as Qin Luo and Xu Duoduo collected cores, wary of an unfamiliar Combat Team nearby.

• Qin Luo, Xu Duoduo, Shishi, Chen Xiaofei, and Wang Weihu led the zombie-clearing effort while the Cheetah, White Dove, and Lily Squads fought nearby and trained.
• Chen Xiaofei complained that the low-star zombies could not help him break through, and a two-headed No. 2 Giant Zombie emerged from beneath the ruined sports arena with mutant maggots on its body.
• Qin Luo carried Xu Duoduo away to collect mutant cores and left Wang Weihu, Bai Shu, and Chen Xiaofei to handle the six-star Giant Zombie.
• Wang Weihu warned the three squads to stay away from the north, while Bai Shu concealed himself near the monster and called the other two over.
• Bai Shu reported spotting an unfamiliar Combat Team near the east, and Qin Luo and Xu Duoduo became alert.

Xu Duoduo collected mutant cores while Chen Xiaofei, Wang Weihu, and Bai Shu fought the No. 2 Giant Zombie. Wang Weihu sensed an imminent breakthrough and struck the monster alone, but it swatted him as Chen Xiaofei cried out in alarm.

• Qin Luo patrolled nearby while Xu Duoduo used Remote Retrieval to gather mutant cores.
• Chen Xiaofei, Wang Weihu, and Bai Shu battered the No. 2 Giant Zombie as the Lily Squad fought the maggots and the other squads guarded the area.
• Xu Duoduo spent nearly an hour collecting cores while the No. 2 Giant Zombie remained alive but badly damaged.
• Wang Weihu said his mutant ability was nearly depleted and its fluctuations suggested a breakthrough was close.
• Bai Shu and Chen Xiaofei pulled back so Wang Weihu could fight alone, and his earthen sword sheared away half of the monster's body.
• The No. 2 Giant Zombie swatted Wang Weihu amid flying dust, and Chen Xiaofei shouted his name in alarm.

Wang Weihu, Chen Xiaofei, and Bai Shu advanced to the sixth tier while fighting the No. 2 Giant Zombie, and Qin Luo and Xu Duoduo celebrated with them. Their team defeated the zombie and drew cheers from the watching squads, while two captured suspicious people remained tied up nearby.

• Wang Weihu transformed into a giant tiger after advancing, and Xu Duoduo called him a kitty while Qin Luo took photos of her posing with him.
• Chen Xiaofei advanced into a giant Gyrfalcon and attacked the No. 2 Giant Zombie with Wind Blades.
• Bai Shu advanced into a flying squirrel, and he, Chen Xiaofei, and Wang Weihu attacked the Giant Zombie together.
• The team killed the No. 2 Giant Zombie, and a strangely colored blackish six-star mutant core dropped from it.
• The Cheetah Squad, White Dove Squad, and Lily Squad cheered for the three teammates, while Qin Luo kissed Xu Duoduo and promised a celebration.

After their first full beast transformations, Wang Weihu and Chen Xiaofei were unable to change back, and their teammates took turns admiring and petting them. Qin Luo questioned two masked intruders, who admitted they were wanderers and scavengers, and invited them into the Combat Vehicle to talk about their Wandering Teams.

• Qin Luo rubbed Wang Weihu’s tiger head, while Xu Duoduo stroked Chen Xiaofei’s wings and then petted Wang Weihu after he lay down for her.
• The Cheetah Squad, White Dove Squad, and Lily Squad gathered around the transformed Wang Weihu and Chen Xiaofei, and the two remained in full beast form because they could not change back yet.
• Qin Luo removed the masks of the two suspicious figures and questioned them, while Xu Duoduo noticed that the younger one was a merman.
• The father admitted that he and his son were wanderers and scavengers who had come to collect valuables amid the chaos, not to attack anyone.
• Qin Luo called everyone back and asked Xu Duoduo to bring out the Combat Vehicle so they could talk with the father and son about their Wandering Teams.

Qin Luo questioned Xi Lei and Xi Youwei after catching them trying to steal, and learned they were keeping their increasingly unstable Mutated wife and mother with them. He let the father and son go, but warned them they would be held responsible if she harmed anyone.

• Qin Luo brought Xi Lei and Xi Youwei into the Combat Vehicle, questioned why they avoided bases, and offered them water.
• Xi Lei explained that his wife had become a Sea Anemone Mutated Person and their son Xi Youwei a Swordfish Mutated Person after the Apocalypse began.
• Xi Youwei admitted his mother sometimes attacked people when she lost control, while insisting that he and Xi Lei had kept her from killing anyone.
• Xi Lei said Stabilization Medicine had not helped his wife and that he wanted to stay with her until her time came.
• Qin Luo unlocked the father and son's handcuffs, scolded them for stealing, and urged them to seek help from Headquarters' researchers for Xi Youwei's mother.
• Qin Luo released Xi Lei and Xi Youwei but warned them that they would be held responsible if they let her harm people.

Qin Luo and Xu Duoduo secretly followed Xi Lei and his son to check on the Sea Anemone Mutated Person and their situation. The rest of 3A joined the tail, which ended with the group reaching K City and the Wandering Teams’ hideout.

• Qin Luo told Xu Duoduo that he had only pretended to let Xi Lei and his son go, and Xu Duoduo went ahead to follow them while Qin Luo hurried after her.
• Bai Shu, Chen Xiaofei, and Wang Weihu joined the pursuit, while Qin Luo ordered the Cheetah, White Dove, and Lily Squads to return to H City Base.
• The Cheetah and White Dove Squad captains persuaded the reluctant Lily Squad to obey Qin Luo’s orders and leave the battlefield.
• Xu Duoduo overheard Xi Lei and his son lamenting that they had only found a half-eaten wild-dog leg to bring home, then resumed following them after Qin Luo warned her not to lose them.

After watching a father and son enter an apparent illusion concealing a Wandering Team hideout in K City, Qin Luo’s group discussed the danger and saw their teammates’ beast forms abruptly end. Bai Shu revealed that reaching the sixth tier had unlocked his new [Vision] skill, which could provide multiple moving viewpoints for surveillance.

• Xu Duoduo watched a father and son vanish into an illusion-covered alley in K City, and Bai Shu suggested the hidden entrance was not a subspace.
• Qin Luo, Bai Shu, Wang Weihu, and Chen Xiaofei changed back from beast form at awkward moments, prompting their team to tease them while protecting Xu Duoduo’s eyes.
• Wang Weihu noticed that reaching the sixth tier seemed to have improved his strength and defense.
• Bai Shu summoned more than a dozen flat, lifelike eyes and explained that he had unlocked the [Vision] skill.
• Qin Luo and Wang Weihu realized Bai Shu’s airborne viewpoints could monitor the battlefield.

After Bai Shu discovered that his new [Eyes] skill could scout the K City Zoo, the team confirmed it housed a Black Market and decided to enter for Space Cards while investigating a suspicious family. Xu Duoduo offered to disguise them, leaving Qin Luo and the others uneasy about her plan.

• Qin Luo observed that high-star mutant cores could grant special skills, and Bai Shu tested his new [Eyes] by scouting the zoo.
• Xu Duoduo shared cold noodles with the team while Qin Luo teased her and Chen Xiaofei during their meal.
• Bai Shu reported that the zoo entrances used recognizable illusion restrictions and that people were trading goods inside the Black Market.
• Bai Shu lost sight of the father and son near the aquarium, so Qin Luo said the team would enter the Black Market and keep watch on their family.
• Xu Duoduo offered to disguise the team, and Qin Luo, Bai Shu, Chen Xiaofei, and Wang Weihu grew uneasy.

Xu Duoduo dressed Qin Luo, Chen Xiaofei, Bai Shu, and Wang Weihu in women’s outfits so their group would be difficult to recognize. The chapter ended with everyone accepting the disguises because Xu Duoduo was enjoying herself.

• Xu Duoduo insisted that the men wear dresses as disguises and handed out outfits while they changed in separate stalls.
• Qin Luo, Chen Xiaofei, and Bai Shu joked with one another as they put on their maid, witch, and elf outfits.
• Xu Duoduo praised Qin Luo and Chen Xiaofei, then accessorized Bai Shu with a wig and flower crown.

The team continued into the entrance line alongside the family, quietly observing the relatives and the gauze-covered Mutated People tied to them.

• Xu Duoduo changed her appearance to blend in, while Qin Luo blushed and struggled not to stare at her.
• Bai Shu spotted an approaching group, and the four men and Xu Duoduo joined the line behind an extended family.
• Two men in the family noticed how muscular the disguised “girls” were and asked where they had bought their dresses, so Xu Duoduo answered for the group.
• The two men discussed their children and the risks of going to a base, while Chen Xiaofei, Bai Shu, and Wang Weihu stayed quiet to avoid revealing themselves.
• The team followed the family into the entrance line and noticed that relatives were tethered by hemp ropes to gauze-covered Mutated People.

Qin Luo and his companions explored the Black Market and bought 1,888 Space Cards. The green-haired seller told them he had seen the missing Gluttonous Beast being taken away by Fang Ming's Subordinates near M City.

• Qin Luo led the group through the Black Market, where Xu Duoduo refused his offer to buy her a mechanical rabbit-ear headband.
• Xu Duoduo bought 1,888 Space Cards from the green-haired seller, paying with three-star Mutant Cores.
• The green-haired seller said he had seen Fang Ming's Subordinates taking the Gluttonous Beast near M City.
• Qin Luo questioned the seller's motives, and the seller said he was a fan of 3A and had his own reasons for staying out of a base.

Qin Luo’s group questioned the Green-Haired Guy about Gluttonous Beast, then continued their investigation at K City Zoo. Xu Duoduo struggled to reconnect with memories of her past, but Qin Luo comforted her as they searched the aquarium.

• Qin Luo asked the Green-Haired Guy where he had last seen Gluttonous Beast, and the man sent the team the time and location while saying they should look near M City.
• The Green-Haired Guy explained the Black Market’s rules, then left to go clubbing after selling his stock to Qin Luo’s group.
• Wang Weihu recovered, and the team agreed to keep exploring in disguise before trying to contact Brother Cao and the others again.
• Qin Luo’s group entered K City Zoo and made their way to the Aquarium while reminiscing about visiting the zoo as students.
• Xu Duoduo told Qin Luo that she could sense many memories but could not hold on to them, and he reassured her by recalling their school days.

3A settled into the Aquarium and met the kind people who watched over its wandering residents. They discovered Xi Lei and Xi Youwei caring for Xi Lei’s mutated wife, and left uncertain whether she could be saved.

• Two older men helped 3A enter the Aquarium, lectured them for being shy, and offered to help them settle in.
• 3A surveyed the crowded but livable exhibition halls and noticed the residents had made fans and air-conditioning work.
• Xu Duoduo spotted Xi Lei and Xi Youwei carrying fruit and led 3A to follow them.
• 3A watched Xi Lei and Xi Youwei comfort Xi Lei’s mutated wife as her scrambled memories shifted between scolding them and recalling their family life.
• Xu Duoduo asked whether Xi Lei’s wife could be saved, and Bai Shu said it would be difficult because little of her original consciousness remained.

After visiting the Black Market, 3A left troubled by the suffering of families caring for mutated loved ones. Xu Duoduo left supplies for two families, and Qin Luo and Bai Shu submitted a proposal to Headquarters to provide affordable medicine to the Wandering Teams.

• Two women invited 3A to eat with their family, whose six mutated children and elderly grandmother moved Shishi.
• Xu Duoduo secretly left the family food and necessities in a Space Card and asked them to pass another Space Card to Xi Lei's family.
• As 3A left K City, Chen Xiaofei reflected on the Black Market's risks and the families who stayed with their loved ones.
• Xu Duoduo told Qin Luo that wherever he was, she would be there, while Chen Xiaofei and Bai Shu teased each other in the Combat Vehicle.
• Xu Duoduo discovered that Qin Luo and Bai Shu had submitted a proposal asking Headquarters to sell affordable mental-rampage medicine to the Wandering Teams.

3A laughed off Wang Weihu’s maid-outfit embarrassment, then learned Headquarters had approved their request to investigate the Black Market. After clearing their zombie-elimination mission with their newly demonstrated sixth-tier powers, they set out to find Gluttonous Beast.

• Xu Duoduo admired Qin Luo, while Qin Luo teased her and Chen Xiaofei mocked him; Wang Weihu realized the Charge Squad had spotted him in his maid outfit and sped away in embarrassment.
• Qin Luo received Headquarters’ approval to investigate the Black Market, and Wang Weihu turned his embarrassment into fury as he used two earthen warriors to cut through zombies.
• Qin Luo reassured Xu Duoduo and urged 3A to finish clearing the zombies before searching for Gluttonous Beast, whose team had not sent any news.
• Xu Duoduo blasted mutant zombies with her spatial ability, Qin Luo struck the horde with [Thunderbolt Punishment], and Chen Xiaofei tore through it with a Tornado.
• Bai Shu confirmed the battlefield was secure, and Wang Weihu finished clearing his area so 3A could complete their No. 1 zombie elimination mission.
• 3A reported their plans to Headquarters and set out to find Gluttonous Beast.

Qin Luo and the others traveled toward M City through extreme heat and found the road blocked by piles of rotting mutant animals. They stopped to harvest the animals’ mutant cores and burn the carcasses, then continued their rescue journey.

• While the group traveled, Bai Shu’s roaming [Eye of Vision] frightened Chen Xiaofei, and the others joked with him as Wang Weihu mended their clothes.
• Qin Luo warned everyone about the 45°C heat and drove past bloated mutant animal carcasses while Xu Duoduo shielded their vehicle.
• After finding a large pile of decomposing animals around a highway bend, Bai Shu suggested they stop and dispose of them to prevent danger.
• Qin Luo collected Space Cards from Xu Duoduo, and the group coordinated to remove the carcasses and separate out their mutant cores.
• Wang Weihu’s Earth-Type Soldiers doused the carcasses with gasoline, Xu Duoduo marked an [Incinerator] zone, and Chen Xiaofei’s wind helped burn the remains as Bai Shu recorded the work.

After learning the Four Continents Team had infiltrated Fang Ming’s territory in Q City, 3A entered the abandoned city to join them and prepare to rescue Gluttonous Beast. The teams planned to corner Fang Ming, while Gluttonous Beast continued to threaten a dramatic escape because he desperately wanted vegetables.

• Bai Shu received word that the Four Continents Team was in Q City, had infiltrated Fang Ming’s territory, and was searching for a chance to rescue Gluttonous Beast.
• Qin Luo redirected 3A toward Q City and assigned Bai Shu to find Fang Ming’s True Body, Chen Xiaofei to help rescue Gluttonous Beast, Wang Weihu to handle Fang Ming’s Subordinates, and himself and Xu Duoduo to confront Fang Ming.
• After reaching the ruined city, 3A proceeded on foot and quietly infiltrated Q City, where zombies crowded the streets and Fang Ming controlled half the area.
• Cao Wenzhou told the Four Continents Team that Qin Luo and the others had arrived and that they would attack when an opportunity arose.
• Gluttonous Beast threatened to jump from a building because he had gone days without vegetables, but refused Fang Ming’s Subordinates’ offer to open his space.

Cao Wenzhou’s team waited for a safe chance to rescue Gluttonous Beast from Fang Ming, but Chen Xiaofei and Qin Luo rushed in and prompted Gluttonous Beast to jump. With Xu Duoduo’s help, they caught him and launched an attack on Fang Ming, leaving a battle about to begin.

• Cao Wenzhou told the Four Continents Team to wait for an opening to rescue Gluttonous Beast and kill Fang Ming.
• Fang Ming mocked Gluttonous Beast and tried to persuade him to join his monster army.
• Chen Xiaofei charged in as Qin Luo shouted for Gluttonous Beast to jump, and Gluttonous Beast leapt from the balcony.
• Chen Xiaofei caught Gluttonous Beast, while Xu Duoduo used her Spatial Domain to stop them from falling.
• Qin Luo and Cao Wenzhou entered Fang Ming’s building as the Four Continents Team attacked, and Xu Duoduo expanded her domain to slow Fang Ming and his underlings.

Qin Luo’s team cornered Fang Ming and his traitorous followers, while Xu Duoduo killed the rebels who had helped incite H City’s riot. The team secured Gluttonous Beast, but Fang Ming continued to evade Qin Luo and Cao Wenzhou.

• Fang Ming’s lackeys fled when Qin Luo challenged him, and Wang Weihu sent the Heng Ha Generals to block their escape.
• Vermilion Bird and the others guarded the exits as Xu Duoduo confronted the fleeing traitors, who admitted they had taken part in the H City riot and Gluttonous Beast’s kidnapping.
• Xu Duoduo rejected the traitors’ pleas for another chance and killed them, then covered their bodies’ eyes with a rag.
• Chen Xiaofei worried that Xu Duoduo might be traumatized, but she said she was ridding the people of a menace, and Qin Luo praised her.

Qin Luo and his teammates trapped Fang Ming inside a building while the zombie horde he had summoned swarmed outside. As the team searched for him and fought the zombies, Bai Shu looked for Fang Ming’s main body in monster territory, and Qin Luo tried to provoke Fang Ming into revealing himself.

• After Fang Ming’s trick sent the zombie army into a frenzy, Cao Wenzhou asked Qin Luo to have Xu Duoduo seal the building, and she did so before entering to cut Fang Ming off.
• Xu Duoduo used her Spatial Domain to trap Fang Ming on the thirteenth floor, then guarded the stairwell while Qin Luo and Cao Wenzhou searched the rooms.
• Chen Xiaofei carried Gluttonous Beast to safety and used a Tornado to sweep zombies into the air as Bai Shu rejoined the team over the Earpiece.
• Bai Shu told Qin Luo that Fang Ming’s main body was not in the area he had searched and that he was checking the monsters’ territory, while Cao Wenzhou warned him not to take risks.
• Qin Luo found no sign of Fang Ming and concluded that his escape trick likely came at a cost, so he challenged Fang Ming to come out and fight him one-on-one.

Qin Luo and Cao Wenzhou found Fang Ming dead after he revealed that he had copied his thoughts into electronic life, leaving them unsure whether his other versions could still threaten the world. As the team regrouped, Q City’s buildings collapsed and monsters rampaged, while Xu Duoduo shielded everyone from the destruction.

• Fang Ming declared that he had copied his data into thousands of electronic versions before dying by suicide, and Qin Luo found his duplicate with a Computer Hard Drive around his neck.
• Cao Wenzhou said headquarters’ technical department might be able to analyze the hard drive, while Xu Duoduo sensed a mutant core inside it.
• The ground shook and the building began to collapse, so Qin Luo carried Xu Duoduo outside with Cao Wenzhou following.
• Chen Xiaofei, Wang Weihu, and Bai Shu reported rising temperatures and rampaging monsters as the team regrouped in the ruined Q City.

Team 3A and the Four Continents Team rescued Gluttonous Beast and prepared to clear a zombie horde while surrounded by dangerous conditions. Gluttonous Beast restored the Space Cards, bringing relief to Headquarters and bases as other squads mobilized for the new extermination mission.

• Xu Duoduo protected the teams from the heat and zombie horde with her Spatial Domain as they faced a six-star mutant spider and requested backup.
• Qin Luo told everyone to stay inside Xu Duoduo's domain, and the teams ate the food she provided before fighting.
• Qin Luo asked Gluttonous Beast to unlock the Space Cards, and Gluttonous Beast restored access to them.

Team 3A and the Four Continents Team fought through Q City's heat and endless zombies while powerful monsters emerged from underground. After ten hours, Gluttonous Beast offered the exhausted fighters cooling equipment and firearms, and they realized they could have conserved their abilities by relying on those supplies sooner.

• Qin Luo, Black Tortoise, and Chen Xiaofei combined their abilities to clear zombies and kill a six-star Pantropical Huntsman Spider, while Wang Weihu and the others joined the battle.
• The fighters killed a six-star Poison Scorpion and continued fighting as more six-star monsters and zombies emerged, while Bai Shu explained that Fang Ming had planned to use the monster Lair to cover his escape.
• Xu Duoduo and her teammates fought for ten hours in the extreme heat, with Xu Duoduo maintaining her Spatial Domain and collecting mutant cores as the others grew exhausted.
• Xu Duoduo offered her teammates drinks and ice packs, and Chen Xiaofei carried Bai Shu back to rest inside her domain.

As the team fought in 51°C heat, Gluttonous Beast revealed he could requisition Headquarters weapons, giving the exhausted fighters a chance to rest and resupply. Xu Duoduo returned to battle with new weapons, while Qin Luo and the others prepared to join her.

• Bai Shu measured the outside temperature at 51°C as the fighters rested inside Little Class Monitor's Spatial Domain.
• Black Tortoise reported that the lack of moisture had made his ability useless, and Wang Weihu said the Rose Squad would arrive in about ten minutes.
• Xu Duoduo refused to rest and returned to battle, switching from her damaged chainsaw to Marble Bombs and firearms.
• Qin Luo told Xu Duoduo to rest over the earpiece, prompting Chen Xiaofei and Bai Shu to tease him.
