"Seriously, just tell me: will you let me go?" Shijima Chiru asked helplessly.
If it came to a fight, he could not beat Unohana Yachiru. He could not even beat either of the two young girls inside.
"No," Unohana said with complete seriousness, slowly drawing her Zanpakuto.
She drew it at a snail's pace, yet every muscle in Shijima Chiru's body tensed. The instant the blade cleared its sheath, its gleam flashed like lightning across heaven and earth. Survival instinct took over. He drove three steel needles into pressure points on his body, unleashing his potential in an instant. He sprang back and somehow escaped Unohana's reach.
Then Shijima Chiru spread his hands, sending a storm of concealed weapons flying toward her. He was far better at ranged attacks than close combat.
But Unohana did not scramble to knock the weapons aside like the two girls had. She stood perfectly still, calm and composed. Shijima Chiru almost thought she had given up resisting.
