Doom had asked the wrong person, really, because Deathstroke knew that the Beyonders did indeed have one extremely important place.

That was their Reproduction Center, or perhaps their assembly line?

The vast majority of Beyonders, aside from rare exceptions like CCU, were born in the Beyond Realm, assembled like machines on a production line.

As a race, they needed to reproduce. Rather than relying solely on the realm automatically gathering energy to form life, it was better to keep the power of reproduction in their own hands.

And that was exactly what they had done. Thus, they had a highly classified facility much like a cannery. There, concepts, matter, and energy were pieced together, then a Single Universe was placed in a culture dish and a fertilized egg tossed inside. Before long, a new Beyonder would grow out of it.

Different grades of Beyonders had different manufacturing processes. If they wanted one to possess higher authority in the future, then the materials used during its creation had to be more carefully selected, and its subsequent cultivation had to differ as well.

It was a little like a bee colony. Give a larva a big "room" and feed it royal jelly, and it would grow into a queen bee. Give the same larva nothing but honey, and it would become a worker bee.
