Su Ming investigated Phantom Bullet’s murder with Dr. Holloway, but their search led them to the ruined Sanctums and a battle against Dark Mages. After helping Kamar-Taj defeat the invasion, Su Ming was told that Doctor Manhattan’s gem qualified him to become the next Sorcerer Supreme.

• Su Ming recruited Dr. Holloway to investigate Phantom Bullet’s murder, and Holloway identified the victim as Daily Bugle reporter Hul Peasas.
• Su Ming and Holloway found the New York Sanctum devastated, then followed the Cloak of Levitation through a portal to rescue Kaecilius and confront the invasion at Kamar-Taj.
• Su Ming and Holloway fought a symbiote-bound Yeti and pressed on toward the battlefield, where Ancient One’s forces faced Karu’s Dark Mage Group.
• Su Ming bonded with the symbiote, infiltrated the battle, and killed Gibborim and several other Dark Mages while Druid prepared to coordinate Kamar-Taj’s defenders.
• Su Ming charged through the enemy flank as Druid rallied the Mages, and Kamar-Taj routed the Dark Mage Group before Karu escaped through a magical door.
• Ancient One restored a side hall and explained that Doctor Manhattan’s gem showed the universe recognized Su Ming as qualified to become Sorcerer Supreme.
• Su Ming tried to refuse the position, but Ancient One argued that the ability to fight was the most important qualification.

Su Ming recruited Monark and Deadpool to search for Namor, leading them to Mr. Sinister’s underground laboratory and a recovered piece of Namor. After imprisoning Sinister, Su Ming sent Deadpool and his team to collect more fragments while Cable and Domino arrived in 1942.

• Su Ming refused Ancient One’s offer to become Sorcerer Supreme and traveled with Holloway to London, where Monark agreed to help find Namor and fight the Nazis.
• Su Ming recruited Deadpool, whose broken Teleportation Belt had brought him from the future, and led him with Holloway and Monark through London’s sewers toward a hidden laboratory.
• Su Ming and his companions fought the laboratory’s guards and Mutants, then discovered that Mr. Sinister was conducting experiments on Namor and had killed Dog-Headed Humanoids beneath London.
• Su Ming, Monark, Holloway, and Deadpool battled Mr. Sinister, using Deadpool’s regenerative body to restrain him while Su Ming fought him at close quarters.
• Monark and Holloway recovered Namor’s severed left hand, and Su Ming forced Mr. Sinister to surrender with poison before taking him to the London Sanctum for imprisonment.
• Deadpool’s X-Agency colleagues arrived, and Su Ming sent Wade and his team to collect more than ten Namor fragments and deliver them to the London Sanctum within two months.
• Cable and Domino arrived after Wade’s belt stranded him in 1942, and Domino rushed out to find him.

Su Ming brought the X-Men and French resistance into occupied Paris to rescue Namor and counter Hydra, while managing Deadpool’s personal chaos and drawing German forces into a wider fight. After destroying an aerial trap and discovering Baron Zemo’s involvement, Su Ming returned to the headquarters and decided Paris’s growing danger had to be dealt with quickly.

• Su Ming reunited with Vanessa and the X-Men, then persuaded Rogue and the New X-Men to help rescue Mutants from German experiments before traveling with Monark and Holloway to occupied Paris.
• Su Ming infiltrated Paris, discovered that Namor’s fragment was aboard the airships, and joined the fighting after Vanessa, Inez, Domino, Deadpool, Cable, and the X-Men became caught in a battle with German troops.
• Su Ming and Holloway ended the women’s fight by arranging a three-day contest to destroy German targets, then led the group through the Paris sewers and catacombs as Red Skull and Doctor Zola investigated the battlefield.
• Su Ming rescued Nick Fury and the Howling Commandos from German forces, helped them reach the French resistance, and treated Steve’s injuries with Holloway’s help.
• Su Ming refused to help the SSR kill Red Skull, warned Peggy Carter and Nick Fury about the dangers of confronting Hydra, and persuaded them to return to the SSR while he pursued other threats.
• Su Ming sent Rogue and the Avenging Angel to raid a German hospital, then attacked anti-aircraft positions across Paris to force the airships to move while the three women caused diversions elsewhere.
• Su Ming boarded a fleeing airship, fought its zombies and a skinless monster, and found Baron Zemo’s projection before escaping the airship as Zemo destroyed it.
• Su Ming evaded Zemo’s flying saucers and returned to the resistance headquarters, where he concluded that Zemo had meant the aerial trap for Steve and decided to address the danger in Paris quickly.

Su Ming uncovered Kang the Conqueror’s manipulation of Germany and gathered Apocalypse to confront him. Kang escaped after their clash, leaving Su Ming and the others surrounded by German forces outside Apocalypse’s protective barrier.

• Su Ming adopted a Captain America disguise, rescued Cable’s team from German forces, and led the group into a confrontation with Zemo and Red Skull, where Red Skull’s Death Spore bomb killed Zemo and most of the Hydra soldiers.
• Su Ming ambushed Heine and Blue Glove, learned that Blue Glove served the King of Kings, and discovered a transmitter that could help Kang track him.
• Su Ming identified Kang as their enemy, sent Namor and the SSR back to Britain, and took the X-Men to Egypt to recruit Apocalypse.
• Su Ming freed Apocalypse from the Phoenix Force’s binding and persuaded him that Kang, disguised as The Mustache, was persecuting Mutants.
• Apocalypse attacked the Reich Chancellery, while Su Ming entered it and shattered a wartime timeline before returning to Berlin to search for Kang’s temporal device.
• Su Ming confronted Kang, who revealed his long-running schemes to manipulate Su Ming, Wilson Enterprises, and the conflict around Captain America and Namor.
• Su Ming killed Blue Glove again and destroyed his spare clones, but Kang escaped using a hidden device and Apocalypse vanished after him.
• Cable reported that Kang and Apocalypse had used Phase Shift, while Su Ming and the others remained surrounded by German forces outside Apocalypse’s protective barrier.
