Chapter Summaries

Deathstroke freed hundreds of Orcs from Blackmoore’s internment camp and arranged for Orgrim’s people to return to Draenor with help from the First Expeditionary Fleet. On his way toward the Great Maelstrom, he spotted Rhonin and Vereesa stranded in the Wetlands while investigating the Red Dragonflight.

• Deathstroke bought hundreds of Orc prisoners from Blackmoore, but left Thrall’s sale unpaid and purchased Taretha so she could stay with him.
• Deathstroke led the Orcs into the Alterac Mountains, where Orgrim and Frostwolf Clan warriors met them and Deathstroke declared them free.
• Deathstroke summoned the First Expeditionary Fleet, ordered Dorn to oversee the Orcs’ transport, and departed.
• Deathstroke spotted Rhonin struggling to start a fire beside Vereesa in the Wetlands.
• Rhonin told Vereesa that the Dalaran mages had dismissed his warning that Orcs controlled the Red Dragonflight.

Su Ming learned how the Dragon Soul had empowered the Dragonmaw Clan and flew to Grim Batol to take the artifact. With the Red Dragons freed from its control, he headed toward Deepholm in disguise to negotiate with someone there.

• Su Ming recalled Neltharion's betrayal of the Dragon Aspects and how the Demon Soul had passed into the Dragonmaw Clan's possession.
• Su Ming learned that Rhonin was operating alone as part of Krasus's plan to infiltrate the Dragonmaw stronghold and trigger a response from the other Dragonflights.

Su Ming traveled to Deepholm to reach Xavius, the satyr trapped in a tree, and enter the Emerald Dream through Nightmare so he could kill Malfurion. After his tentacles won the worship of Xavius’s followers, Su Ming pierced the tree and encountered Xavius within the darkness.

• Su Ming flew to the Great Maelstrom and went to find Xavius, hoping to use Nightmare to enter the Emerald Dream and kill Malfurion.

Deadpool and Loki forced Mephisto to arrange a hearing about resurrecting Thor, Amora, and Deadpool. Mephisto sent Deadpool through a portal, where he encountered a mysterious woman bathing in a pool.

• Deadpool, dressed as Sailor Moon, chased Mephisto around his throne after a continuity gem let him escape every restraint.
• Mephisto admitted he could not cleanse, kill, or confine Deadpool, whose revolting soul contaminated Hell.
• Loki explained that she was now a living person and threatened to let her soul go to Helheim, while Deadpool pressed Mephisto to honor their resurrection deal.
• Loki presented a supplementary contract, and Mephisto signed it before sending Deadpool through a portal to consult a higher power about resurrecting Thor, Amora, and Deadpool.

Su Ming helped Xavius reach Malfurion in the Emerald Dream and complete his long-awaited revenge, then returned to Stormwind City with news that the Orcs were being sent back to Draenor. He prepared to travel with Illidan to Mount Hyjal so Illidan could see Tyrande again.

• Su Ming and Xavius entered the Emerald Dream, where Little Black used a dead Druid's thoughts to find Malfurion.
• Xavius attacked Malfurion and his companions, killed Malfurion, and completed his revenge while Su Ming secretly erased his memory of the encounter.
• Su Ming returned to Stormwind City and told Varian and the others that the Orcs were being sent back to Draenor.

Su Ming urged Illidan to stop hiding from Tyrande and make amends to the Night Elves, then Illidan saw her crying and rushed to her side. Su Ming and the others stayed concealed nearby to observe before formally meeting the Night Elf leader.

Su Ming recruited Little Wong after Monark refused to join his expedition to Earth-313. The pair arrived on a radioactive, post-nuclear wasteland and began searching for the White House’s underground facility to learn more about the world.

• Su Ming searched the ruins of Washington D.C. for the White House’s underground facility, using Strangle to probe beneath the ground.

Su Ming and his companions searched the White House’s deeply buried nuclear shelter for information about the Morlun Family’s travels across the multiverse. They found the shelter’s long-dead occupants and entered a conference room where suited bodies remained seated around empty cups.

• Su Ming dug down through the crater and breached the White House shelter, explaining that he was looking for information about the Morlun Family and the planet’s designation.
• Little Wong and Guardians entered the shelter with Su Ming, where they found a skeleton in a storage room and learned the underground air had been stagnant.
• Su Ming explored the corridors and found brittle remains, preserved furnishings, and empty offices, while Strangle lamented that the skeletons had no brains to eat.
• Su Ming opened the conference room doors and found bodies in suits seated in rows, each with an empty cup in front of them.

Su Ming and Little Wong learned that Earth-313 had been devastated by a nuclear war between the Araknoids and Lemurians, while Su Ming explained how Set had manipulated the Lemurians through the Serpent Crown. The chapter left them preparing to locate this world's Spider-Man to draw out the Morlun Family.

• Little Wong confirmed that the Araknoids and Lemurians had fought the nuclear war and showed Deathstroke photographs of Lemurian soldiers and weapons.
