Chapter Summaries

Su Ming and Doctor Doom went to the Cancerverse’s Latveria to find Doom’s counterpart, after discovering that he had made an agreement with the Many-Angled Ones. They found the counterpart on a throne in the castle’s hidden data center, and Doctor Doom attacked him.

• Doctor Doom found a letter saying his Cancerverse counterpart had agreed with the Many-Angled Ones to preserve Latveria and its technology.
• Doctor Doom failed to locate his counterpart with a tracking spell, so he and Su Ming decided to search Latveria.
• Su Ming and Doctor Doom teleported to Latveria and found its ruined city filled with monsters that greeted Doom as their king.
• Doctor Doom led Su Ming through the castle to a secret data center beneath it.

Su Ming and Doctor Doom discovered Susan and her children hiding in the ruined castle, and Susan explained how Cancer Doom had sacrificed himself to protect them. Su Ming recognized Franklin as the last hope and asked him how he viewed the Single Universe.
