Shi Zhao took the Immortality Spring, which had transformed into a little golden dragon, and defeated the creatures who tried to stop her. She forced the survivors, including Yun Xi, to gather spirit medicine and warned them that disobedience would cost them their lives.
Shi Zhao and her companions stripped the Hundred Herb Garden of its spirit medicines and soil, then set out to lure the Spiritually Attuned Flower. Meanwhile, Shi Zhao's final incarnation scouted the central region and learned that the Hundred Broken Mountains would soon unite, freeing its dangerous native inhabitants.
Shi Zhao reunited with Shi Hao in the desert after taking the Rain Clan’s Taiyi True Water, then helped him defeat the clan members pursuing them. The Rain Clan was wiped out, and the siblings left the desert together with Shi Hao receiving a jar of Taiyi True Water.
Shi Zhao and Shi Hao traveled through the Hundred Broken Mountains Range and reached Treasure-Splitting Cliff, where Shi Zhao encountered a Pu Demon Tree and cut off one of its branches. Days later, Shi Zhao lamented a difficult task in a remote place.
As the Hundred Broken Mountains fused, its ancient inhabitants began hunting the outsiders, and Shi Hao struggled through the chaos while searching for his companions. In the central region, a mysterious green-clad woman wounded the Iron-Blood Ancient Tree, and three identical figures prepared to act after finding signs of their target.
Shi Hao fought off the Pu Demon Tree while the battle for the Silver Peach Trees descended into chaos, and the Pu Demon King awakened, unleashing seeds across the Small World. A Divine Disk appeared and destroyed the seeds, but the awakened threat remained as the creatures fled.
Shi Zhao fought the revived Pu Demon King while the Six Paths Reincarnation Disk opened the exit from the Hundred Broken Mountains. After everyone escaped, the Pu Demon King blocked her and demanded that Six Paths face him.
The Pu Demon King possessed a Supreme Being’s body and fought Shi Zhao until Willow Deity arrived and joined with her. Together they awakened the Six Paths Reincarnation Disk and destroyed the Pu Demon King, leaving the witnesses outside Broken Void City stunned.
After defeating the Pu Demon King's remnant spirit, Shi Zhao returned to Stone Village gravely injured and fell into a deep sleep. As the Willow Deity treated her, she began a mysterious transformation that could bring her new strength.
Shi Hao cultivated at the Heaven Mending Pavilion, developing his Kunpeng Method and strengthening his lightning path while growing close to his fellow disciples. As the Sacrificial Spirit’s final flare drew enemies and danger toward the sect, disciples were sent away, leaving Shi Hao to cherish their farewells and hope for the future.
After more than half a year asleep, Shi Zhao underwent nirvana, shedding her old flesh and bones and reaching the utmost limits of the Inscription Realm. She continued cultivating beneath the willow in Stone Village, having become younger and preparing to break through.
Shi Zhao broke through to the Array Formation Realm and celebrated with Stone Village, relaxing in the Great Wilderness and helping the villagers. As she studied the new realm beneath the Willow Tree, her cultivation surged into its middle stage.
Shi Zhao sought to perfect her own path in the array formation realm and began refining medicine to temper herself and unlock her body's potential. After obtaining the Minor Nirvana Pill recipe and brewing a cauldron of treasure medicine, she tested its effects and examined a root resembling a Qilin.
Shi Zhao completed a perilous medicinal refinement, breaking through to the late stage of the array formation realm and developing a new cultivation direction. After recovering, she set out for Heaven Mending Pavilion with her companions and the Stone Emperor's token.
Shi Hao rushed to the Heaven Mending Pavilion’s Sacrificial Spirit as the grounds collapsed, where he reunited with his sister Shi Zhao. Shi Zhao promised to help the pavilion and flew off, then struck down the Heaven-Swallowing Sparrow with a single sword attack.
Shi Zhao killed the Heaven-Swallowing Sparrow despite being only in the array formation realm, then drove off the other Venerables threatening the Heaven Mending Pavilion. Qiongqi recognized her and remained tempted by the Pavilion’s divine seed, while an old woman and a veiled young woman watched her from afar.
Shi Zhao confronted Yue Chan and Granny Xihua at the Heaven Mending Pavilion, then jokingly presented Yue Chan as a future wife for Shi Hao. The chapter ended with Shi Zhao unveiling Yue Chan while Shi Hao continued to reject the match.
Shi Zhao refused to let the Heaven Mending Pavilion merge with the Heaven Mending Sect, then urged the dying old vine to fight for revenge and another chance at life. The old vine's resolve stirred, leaving its fate uncertain as Shi Zhao warned that the coming future would bring bloodshed and chaos.
Shi Zhao lured Yue Chan into an exchange of secret techniques, trading part of the Supreme Hall’s sword art for the Primary and Secondary Bodies Method. After Yue Chan left, Shi Zhao noticed the Witch had stolen her wine and turned to study the method.
Shi Zhao learned that enemies had destroyed three of the Heaven Mending Pavilion’s hidden strongholds, and the Divine Vine rallied the survivors as their enemies gathered for battle. As the assault began, Shi Zhao returned the Supreme Bone to Shi Hao, and it started to regrow in his chest.
The Heaven Mending Pavilion was besieged by powerful outsiders seeking the Gourd Vine’s Divine Seed, while its elders struggled to protect the disciples and escape. When the attackers demanded that the sword wielder reveal herself, Shi Zhao emerged and warned them to leave.
Shi Zhao confronted six Venerables besieging the Heaven Mending Pavilion and launched a fierce battle against them. After killing two with her sword, she faced the remaining Venerables in the sky.
Shi Zhao defeated five Venerables in a brief, overwhelming battle, while the Heaven Mending Pavilion’s old vine fought the Gray Flood Dragon to his death. As the old vine faded away, an old man bearing the Broken Sword appeared and acknowledged that the vine had kept his promise.
Shi Zhao returned to the Heaven Mending Pavilion as the Sacrificial Spirit’s final light fell, helping the old vine survive through a Divine Seed and allowing Shi Hao to prepare for his tenth cave heaven. After she rescued a pavilion elder from the Rain Clan, Yu Zimo recognized Shi Zhao as the imperial princess and Shi Yi’s elder sister.
Shi Zhao recovered from her injuries while Yue Chan and Granny Xihua discussed her power, and Witch arrived and left with her. Witch told Shi Zhao about the rumored Kun Peng ruins and tried to recruit her, while Shi Zhao later learned that Shi Hao had opened his tenth cave heaven and promised to take him home after he recovered.
