The Man Who Split the Tsunami

"A tsunami? I wonder if I have what it takes now to face one head-on!"

Seeing this, Moonlight smiled faintly.

Facing the towering wall of water, though he was as small as a speck before it, a fighting spirit rose within him.

He was no longer who he used to be.

With lv6 Sword Technique, lv6 Haki, and his unique swordsmanship that stood above all else in this world, he wanted to see whether the tsunami would swallow him—or whether he would split the tsunami apart!

Moonlight stood upon the sea, staring at the wall of water crashing down before him like the roar of a Sea Devil. His gaze was as sharp as a sword, and he spoke each word slowly and clearly. Though the tsunami surged wildly, threatening to destroy heaven and earth, his figure remained perfectly straight.

At last, clusters of crescent-shaped Sword Aura enveloped his entire body.

"Buzz, buzz, buzz!"

A massive cluster of crescent-shaped slashes continuously gathered around his body.

When the tsunami finally came crashing down, ready to wash away everything in the world, Moonlight suddenly swung his sword!...

On the final carriage of the World Government express train.

Everyone watched the raging wind and rain outside, along with the ferocious tsunami, and could not help but marvel. "I've seen Aqua Laguna many times over the years, but this is the most terrifying one I've ever seen."

"Aqua Laguna grows fiercer every year. Before long, I'm afraid it will swallow all of Water Seven."

One of the government officials looked toward the man seated at the front of the carriage, a man with a long neck, wearing a helmet topped with a long red plume, and said:

"Colonel Penguin, we've really troubled you. We actually had to ask you to escort them personally."

The man before them was none other than Colonel Penguin of the Marines.

He was known as the Square Swordsman, the man called Ship Cutter.

"If the criminals I am escorting are ever released into this world again, who knows how many innocent people will bleed and weep because of them? Even with Aqua Laguna upon us, I would not hesitate to die ten thousand times."

Penguin spoke firmly.

He was a swordsman of justice and hated underhanded swordsmanship most of all.

"Yes, this Aqua Laguna really is..."

The official hurriedly replied with a smile.

However, before he could finish, someone in the carriage suddenly shouted, cutting him off.

"What is that?"

"What happened?"

He quickly turned and asked.

Penguin's attention shifted over as well.

Everyone in the carriage was staring out at the sea.

Their eyes were wide with shock, as though they had seen a ghost.

"What is it?"

Curious, he looked over.

At once, he saw a sight he would never forget for the rest of his life.

Within the enormous tsunami in the distance, a huge crescent-shaped Sword Aura suddenly tore a hole through the tsunami and ripped forward.

The Sword Aura was ferocious. Everywhere it passed, the sea was split into two, and it continued tearing forward without pause, slashing straight toward their carriage!

"Gasp!"

Everyone drew a sharp breath. It was terrifying beyond belief! "How is that possible? It actually split open the tsunami! What kind of horrifying slash was that?"

Penguin cried out in horror.

Without hesitation, he immediately leaped out, unleashing his Sword Technique as he charged head-on toward the Sword Aura!

If he did not step in, their entire carriage would likely be cut to pieces by that Sword Technique! "Right Angle Flying Bird: Penguin Great Bird!"

Penguin slashed with all his strength. A right-angled sword wave condensed in the air, forming a giant bird that flew toward the crescent Sword Aura.

"Crack!"

With almost no power to resist, Penguin and his slash were blasted into the second carriage.

Only then did the Sword Aura gradually fade away.

"Hm?"

In the second carriage, Lucci, Kaku, Blueno, Kalifa, and the other CP9 members sat calmly. Robin was already in their hands, and they had captured Franky along the way. Their mission had been successfully completed. All that remained was to deliver them to Enies Lobby.

As Lucci looked at the sword wound on Penguin's body, his pupils suddenly contracted. He sprang to his feet and stood at the gaping hole cut into the carriage, looking outside.

The others all looked out as well.

They saw a black figure forcibly burst through the towering tsunami in the distance. His entire body turned into streaking afterimages as he ran through the air above the sea, much like the Geppo they used—except he was far faster, and incomparably more domineering.

Under the train's lights, they could vaguely make out a stern face and black clothing.

Who else could it be but Moonlight?

"That man again. Looking at that direction... could it be that he split the tsunami?"

Kalifa removed her gold-rimmed glasses, her face filled with disbelief.

"From the looks of it, that must be the case. Not only did he split the tsunami, the aftershock of his Sword Aura sent Colonel Penguin flying and even reached us!"

Blueno was equally stunned.

"This old man has never seen such terrifying swordsmanship!"

Kaku's entire body broke out in goosebumps.

He was also a swordsman, yet compared to Moonlight, he was not even worth calling an ant.

"He actually ran straight across the sea to get here? Tell the front to move this train forward at maximum speed, regardless of the cost. Even if the train is destroyed, it doesn't matter."
