When they heard that Luffy's group had done it, they immediately felt grateful.

They wanted to hold a celebratory feast for them.

"A feast? Then there must be alcohol..."

Zoro smiled as well. He had been hungry for more than half a month and was already desperate for food and drink.

As long as Luffy saw food, he would definitely go crazy.

As long as Zoro heard there was alcohol, he would get excited immediately.

After saying that, he ignored the dumbfounded Coby and headed toward town.

At that moment, the entire town was decorated with lanterns and banners. Every villager was beaming with joy and gave Luffy's group the warmest welcome.

Rika invited Luffy to drink freely at her family's restaurant.

At the sight of food, Luffy had already forgotten his own name. At the sight of alcohol, Zoro became equally excited.

The two ate and drank heartily, showing no restraint whatsoever.

Moonlight, on the other hand, seemed normal as he quietly ate his fried rice.

Just then, Marines suddenly entered from outside. The captain was at their head.

The moment he saw them, he shouted.

"Someone reported that Pirates have come to town. That would be you, right?"

"Out of humanitarian concern, I warn you to leave immediately. Otherwise, don't blame us for arresting you!"

"The Marines?"

"Hmph!"

"Damn Marines!"

At those words, everyone around them snorted coldly.

It was Pirates who had saved them from suffering, not the Marines. They knew gratitude from resentment!

"All right, let's go!"

However, Luffy merely clapped his hands as though nothing had happened, completely unconcerned.

He walked away directly.

Moonlight smiled faintly and followed behind him. The three left one after another, leaving only Coby behind.

Then he suddenly stepped forward and faced the captain directly!

"I want to join the Marines and become a Marine soldier! Please allow it!"

Coby shouted.

"Hm? Didn't he seem to be with those Pirates?"

"Pirates and Marines are mortal enemies. How could someone who has been a Pirate possibly become a Marine?"

"We can't let you join!"

When they saw Coby, the surrounding Marines all spoke up.

Back at the training grounds, they had been standing above everyone else and had seen everything.

Hearing this, Coby began to tremble, feeling as though his future had gone completely dark.

Was he going to be turned away just like that?

"Was he with Pirates? I didn't see it. Did any of you see it?"

Zoro nearly broke down again as he looked at Moonlight, then at Luffy.
