Yanbai revealed that he had been born with Madara Uchiha’s memories, and Madara came to understand their connection and why Yanbai had protected and cared for him. Madara then explained the truth behind Old Grandmother’s system experiments and the rules for gifts.
Yanbai learned from Madara Uchiha that his broken system needed a supreme-stage Gift bearer to sacrifice themselves, and that Madara had become a possible replacement system. They suspected Sasori’s puppet might be a vessel, leaving Yanbai determined to keep Sasori close.
Junlin returned to his lonely home and found Uchiha Itachi waiting to discuss his proposal that Junlin become Yanbai’s real child. Junlin refused, explaining that love already made him Yanbai’s child, and Itachi left the conversation facing Junlin’s view of family.
Madara Uchiha tried to prove that he and Yanbai were the same person by comparing their abilities and personalities, but his disastrous cooking only led to another argument. The chapter ended with Yanbai and Madara Uchiha fighting in the kitchen while Muye and Silver Moon watched.
Madara Uchiha used a discussion about cellular change and identity to argue that he and Yanbai understood each other well, then insisted Yanbai should marry him. After Yanbai rejected him, Sasori watched them from his workshop and spoke to his puppet as though it were Kaguya.
Sasori’s devotion to Yanbai faded as the living puppet Kaguya became the focus of his affection, and he promised to stay with her. Meanwhile, Yanbai served Muye and Silver Moon a meal of bizarre dishes, and Silver Moon tried to steer the next family dinner toward fish.
Yanbai and Madara Uchiha argued over Madara’s cooking and Yanbai’s refusal to accept his advances, while Madara urged him to hand the Hokage’s duties to Junlin. They then discussed the nearly invincible Old Woman and whether it was safe to leave her alone in the workshop.
Yanbai and Madara Uchiha discussed the dangers posed by the Old Woman and the nature of the gifts she was studying. Yanbai suspected she intended to experiment on Sasori, a child starved of love who could be easily deceived.
Yanbai debated whether to intervene in the Old Woman’s relationship with Sasori, and Madara Uchiha argued that Sasori’s own belief and happiness mattered more than outsiders’ judgment. Yanbai chose to watch rather than interfere, then secretly observed Sasori with a Humanoid Puppet through a screen, where the puppet appeared to look directly at him.
Yanbai and Madara Uchiha confronted the Old Woman, who arrived in a puppet after apparently sensing that Zetsu had been sealed. Yanbai rejected the future she had planned for him and asked his Great-Grandmother to let him choose his own path, but her response remained uncertain.
Madara Uchiha attacked Old Woman’s consciousness, which possessed a purple-clad puppet, and destroyed the puppet despite her taunts and evasive powers. As her voice faded, Sasori approached the room in a dazed state.
Yanbai and Madara Uchiha witnessed the Old Woman return in the form of Sasori’s beloved Kaguya, after Sasori grieved over the puppet’s destruction. She revealed herself as Qian Wanming, the creator god of the Shinobi World, and explained that she had manipulated Madara and used the ordeal to develop Sasori’s emotions.
Yanbai and Madara Uchiha faced the Old Woman’s overwhelming power, and she left with Sasori after giving Yanbai her clothes. Later, Sasori asked Kaguya to make him immortal like her, and she said she did not know how, prompting him to offer to teach her.
Yanbai dreamed of Sasori’s final moments and confessed his uncertainty about leaving the Shinobi World, along with the bonds that kept him attached to it. Sasori urged him to keep moving forward, then disappeared as the dream ended, and Yanbai found the workshop empty.
Junlin told Uchiha Itachi that the Akatsuki was in disarray and that a new leader planned to stir trouble in the Land of Water. Madara Uchiha arrived and confronted Itachi over his attempt to make him leave Yanbai, ending the chapter as Madara’s laughter filled the hall and crimson spread through his eyes.
Madara Uchiha revealed that he had only pretended to help Yanbai escape because he wanted to remain with him, and he opposed the retainers choosing Yanbai’s future for him. Junlin understood Madara’s selfish desire to keep Yanbai while still prioritizing Yanbai’s wishes.
Madara Uchiha explained to Uchiha Itachi that Yanbai had gradually distanced his Retainers so they could live independently, and described his own view of love as a deliberate choice rather than dependence. He said he would cherish the time he had with Yanbai, but declared that this was neither the right time nor the right place.
A purple-clad woman claiming to be Yanbai’s great-grandmother visited Muye and Silver Moon in the forest, while Cherry Ink defended them from her advances. She revealed that a personal system was made from a human who sacrificed body and soul for a god, leaving the children shocked and Yanbai’s system still unexplained.
The woman in purple revealed that she was the central system of the Ten Thousand Worlds and could not become Yanbai's system without endangering everyone. Before she could explain further, Madara Uchiha attacked, and the chapter ended with him advancing in a seemingly crazed state.
Madara Uchiha fought the Purple-Clad Woman, who recognized that he sought power rather than Yanbai and tested the power Wakatsuki had given him. The battle escalated with her overwhelming techniques, but Madara struck her for the first time, and she declared that she wanted his body as an offering.
Yanbai wandered Konoha in grief until Cherry Ink brought word that Madara Uchiha was fighting the Purple-Clad Woman. As Madara unleashed a catastrophic technique, Muye tried to reach him, and a dark shadow covered the Land of Fire.
Yanbai caught and hurled away a falling star that threatened Konoha, then ordered emergency preparations across the Land of Fire. He traced the tremors to Madara Uchiha and the Old Woman, with Silver Moon following behind him.
After Cherry Ink sacrificed itself to repair Yanbai’s system, Yanbai and Silver Moon reached a vast abyss and discovered that Kaguya had transported their targets to another dimension with Amenominaka. Inside that dimension, Madara Uchiha and Muye tried to identify their surroundings as a mysterious voice approached.
Muye watched as the Purple-Clad Woman explained how she had turned people from different timelines into systems, then fought Madara Uchiha with Black Zetsu. Madara realized he had to stop and seal her to protect Yanbai, but the Purple-Clad Woman remained confident because the Server made her immortal.
Madara Uchiha fought the Purple-Clad Woman as she tested strange paid items on him, and his Wood Release engulfed the frozen landscape in deadly vines. After hearing Sasori’s lingering voice and learning how the woman had made him an undying puppet, Madara charged her again, despite her ability to sense and predict her opponents’ movements.
