Fuxi advanced from a Great Saint to the brink of proving his Dao, and Wang Bo prepared to protect his tribulation from awakened Forbidden Zone Supremes. As Fuxi faced the final trial, Wang Bo confronted two Great Perfection Saint Spirits while two tyrant bodies approached Fuxi.
Wang Bo fought two Saint Spirit Supremes who had undergone ultimate sublimation, while Fuxi battled two Great Accomplished Tyrant Bodies elsewhere. Wang Bo began suppressing his opponents and hoped Fuxi would soon attain the Dao, allowing him to pursue his own chaos heavenly heart.
Fuxi defeated two Great Accomplished Tyrant Bodies and proved his dao, becoming the first Dao Prover of the new age. With Wang Bo and the ancient Human Emperors gathered around him, Fuxi chose the title Emperor for himself and those who would follow.
After Fuxi lost a battle to Wang Bo, the emperors discussed the strength of the Chaos Body and the long road to immortality. They learned that Yuangeng had gone into the stars to seek a chance to revive the Undying Heavenly Emperor.
Yuangeng investigated the Divine Soul Pool and used the Undying Heavenly Emperor’s blood to trace a surviving trace of his primordial spirit to a hidden star domain. There, he found a five-colored stone egg nourished by five Fortune Source Eyes, and a sigh came from inside it.
Yuangeng confronted the Undying Heavenly Emperor, who had survived as a spirit inside his son’s Stone Egg. Deciding the former emperor could serve the universe better alive, Yuangeng bound him to an oath of service, and the Undying Heavenly Emperor accepted in exchange for the chance to enter the Immortal Domain.
More than thirty Extreme Dao Supremes arrived at the Ninety-Nine Dragon Mountains for the third Flat Peach Gathering, where they reunited with Yuangeng and met Great Emperor Fuxi and Wang Bo. The gathering ended with Carefree Heavenly Venerate saying he might attempt to enter the immortal Dao in a little over two hundred thousand years.
Yuangeng encouraged the Forbidden Zone Supremes to pursue True Immortality and discussed how Immortal Medicines could reveal the Dao. He advised Fuxi to focus on his own path for now, then left the Blood Phoenix Ancient Emperor curious about the azure flower bud floating in the Immortal Transformation Pool.
Yuangeng revealed that the Green Lotus Immortal Medicine was growing in the Immortal Transformation Pool from a fragment of the Immortal Ascension Cauldron, and explained his hopes that it would become a cultivator. He then entrusted the Undying Heavenly Emperor’s Stone Egg to the Carefree Heavenly Venerate and the Heavenly Nether Treasure before preparing to enter seclusion and journey through space and time.
Yuangeng brought his followers to the Epoch Burial Pit and prepared corpse calamities to test future Dao Provers. Before entering seclusion to pursue his sixth life, he entrusted Lunar Essence Human Emperor with watching over important figures and the coming conflict between the Sacred Body and Tyrant Body bloodlines.
Yuangeng traveled through the River of Time to find an era where he could test his strength, passing through the original history of the Shrouding the Heavens Universe without intervening. He chose the Heavenly Emperor Era and descended to witness Ye Fan's power.
The Queen Mother of the West handled Jade Lake Holy Land’s affairs until a mysterious, overwhelmingly powerful man appeared and overwhelmed its defenses. He identified himself as Heng Emperor after the Western Emperor Pagoda’s spirit recognized his Netherworld Dao Laws.
Yuangeng, declaring himself the Heng Emperor, arrived at Jade Lake and effortlessly subdued its Divine Embryo and several awakened Extreme Dao Weapons. After learning that Ye Fan was in his seventh life and that the Undying Heavenly Emperor had recently attacked the Heavenly Court, Yuangeng said he had come to Big Dipper to do battle.
Yuangeng learned about the Heavenly Court’s power and traveled to its vast star-spanning headquarters to challenge Ye Fan. At the Southern Heavenly Gate, he identified himself as Heng Emperor and requested an audience with the Heavenly Emperor.
Yuangeng arrived at the Heavenly Court and met Ye Xian, the Heavenly Emperor’s granddaughter and a powerful chaos body. After she challenged him, he effortlessly disrupted her control of the myriad laws and advised her to let her dao settle; an immense will then began awakening within the Heavenly Court.
Yuangeng defeated Ye Xian and met Ye Fan, who welcomed him to the Heavenly Court and discussed the Red Dust Immortal Path with him. The chapter ended with Yuangeng challenging Ye Fan to test their combat strength.
Yuangeng, the Heng Emperor, arrived at the Heavenly Court and faced Ye Fan in a contest between two ancient powerhouses. After their first clash threatened the Heavenly Court, they moved their battle to a distant stretch of starry sky.
Ye Fan narrowly defeated Yuangeng in a ninety-eight-day battle of bodily strength, then the two began comparing their primordial spirits. Their spirit battle opened with a clash between Ye Fan’s cauldron and Yuangeng’s burial chains.
Yuangeng and Ye Fan fought a prolonged contest of primordial spirits, and Ye Fan conceded that Yuangeng had won by a narrow margin. After recovering, they agreed to settle the next contest of essence, qi, and spirit through a clash of taboo methods.
Ye Fan and Yuangeng continued their contest of qi, exchanging powerful Chaos Taboo Methods and other techniques while studying each other’s Dao. Their battle continued in the starry sky as the Desolate Pagoda and Kunlun Immortal Bell suppressed the surrounding laws to protect the universe.
The Heavenly Emperor and Yuangeng’s five-day clash of techniques showcased their vast mastery, culminating in the Heavenly Emperor’s ultimate phenomenon facing Yuangeng’s Lunar Essence Method. Their collision annihilated matter and laws across the battlefield, forcing the Desolate Pagoda and Immortal Bell to intervene again.
